House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Sunday suggested that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) could lose her majority in the House in 2020 as vulnerable Democrats in districts carried by President Donald Trump could be in trouble as she pushes ahead with the impeachment inquiry.
“If you’re one of those 31 Democrats, you’re a little afraid with just hearing what Nancy Pelosi just did [in] putting out this timeline for articles of impeachment. She just gave up your job,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”
He noted polls that showed 54 percent of respondents in those districts said they were “more likely to vote against” a member of Congress who supports impeachment. “And they already have,” McCarthy added.
“Those 31 Democrats … I think they may be a one-termer,” he said.
Less than one year away from the 2020 election, McCarthy said that Democrats aren’t listening to their constituents in making their decisions on impeachment….
Pelosi last week said House Democrats would seek to draft articles of impeachment against Trump.

Heavenly Father, I know that those who support life and Judaeo-Christian ethics are predominantly our republican members of Congress. But, I am concerned because so many neighbors, relatives and people on my Facebook page believe the lies that a photo shows children Trump has in cages, that Obama started the economic recovery, that Trump does whatever Putin tells him. And these deluded people vote. The right lost in the 2018 and 2019 elections. Please cause candidates who value your true and righteous judgments to win in 2020 so that “the righteous shall be glad in you, and shall trust you and all the upright in heart shall glory.” In Jesus’ name. Amen!

You need to find a resource of the truth of what is going on. Praying for lies to be answered will nullify your prayers. There are no children in cages — that was under Obuma; Obuma did NOT start the economic recovery; and Putin has nothing to do with President Trump! If you would listen to the prophets or better yet ASK the Lord — you would know that Trump was Chosen by GOD the Father to be the President, for such a time as this! Your prayers need to be in line with GOD’s sacred will! The truth is that the enemy (the Devil, and his human counterparts) are in a war to destroy Christian America!
The Christian Americans are praying for all who are trying to take over our country to be defeated and found out before they can take any more action against us! Perhaps you should listen to Christian TV and right-wing TV or this site, who tells the truth of what needs to be prayed for. But Jesus will tell you what to pray for, just ask Him. But don’t listen to the devil’s lies and then ask GOD to bless those lies. GOD Bless you!
Yes, Daylynne, I suspect that you misread my prayer. I know very well that the stories I hear about cages, economic recovery and Putin are entirely false. I am not praying for any lies to be answered. I know President Trump was chosen by God and I am so thankful for the amazing things God is doing through him to make America great again. He is by far the best president in my lifetime and I was born in the ’40s. My prayer is that those who are deluded by lies will see the truth and not vote against Trump.
Father – let there be confusion in the camps where trouble is brewing, whether it be in the democrat’s or even republican’s. Let Your Name be glorified and your statutes followed the whole way through and by all the elected officials who seek to bring about justice in our government, in Jesus Name, amen.
