On Wednesday, the Supreme Court announced the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer, a Clinton appointee who is 83 years old. Within hours, President Biden affirmed that he would nominate a Black woman to replace Justice Breyer, in keeping with a campaign promise.
Enter intercessor Terri. Terri’s assignment from the Lord keeps her out of the news. She spends time interceding alone with the Lord, trusting Him for needed direction in prayer. She and her husband participate with IFA, although her husband is the one who keeps up with the news.
Because Terri’s intercessory ministry is more quiet and set apart, she told IFA she considers herself uninformed. That’s one of the reasons why what happened this week is remarkable. Terri attended an IFA event where President/CEO Dave Kubal shared about the efforts IFA led with the Dobbs Supreme Court case on abortion, which we expect to be decided by June. He shared about the Amicus Brief and 50 Days of Prayer. He shared that we know of no other Supreme Court brief that included prayer and the names of intercessors. We also know of no other prayer effort that focused on praying for justices, and their clerks, by name–not for one day but for 50 days.
While Dave spoke, Terri prayed with her eyes closed. As she prayed, she had a vision of the head and shoulders of 3 figures in black justice robes. She could see the face of only one–a Black woman. This woman had dust particles in front of her eyes. Then a hand came up from the left and flicked the dust particles away.
The vision ended and Terri asked the Lord what it meant. Terri’s next thought was to pray for this woman, that the dust would be removed and that she could see.
A few hours later that day the announcement came out that Justice Breyer was retiring and that President Biden will be picking a Black woman to replace him.
Intercessors, this is our assignment: pray for the woman whom President Biden appoints to the Supreme Court. Pray that any dust before her eyes will be flicked away so that she will see clearly about the Constitution and our laws.

Prov. 28:4 Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them. I pray that she is discerning and does not turn away her ear from the constitution..the law . I pray for wisdom, prudence and diligence to know the state of our country and attend to it with justice and righteousness.
Lord, I lift up the nominee fur Supreme Court Justice. That you would remove and dust, specks out of eyes. That she will see truth and abide by the constitution and but her politics views. In Jesus mighty name!

Yes, Abba, remove the dust from this woman’s eyes and give her spiritual eyes to correctly discern your will and your ways. What the enemy meant for evil, use it for your glory! We declare and decree any plans of the enemy will be null and void! We declare and decree that the plans and purposes you have for this country and for the Supreme Court will be fulfilled in Christ Jesus. Thank you for this intercessor who brought this to our attention. It brings us hope and encouragement you are working even when we do not see you are working! Thank you, Jesus, thank you Father, thank you Spirit!

Dear Father, I thank You that You are in control and if this lady is confirmed to the Supreme Court that You will “flick the dust particles away from her eyes” and that she would see clearly not only the Constitution but You, dear Father, and that Her life would be committed to You. What the enemy has meant for evil, you will turn to good. We thank You for hearing our prayers.

What a wonderful comfort Terri’s vision is! God has already chosen Justice Breyer’s replacement, and reveals His plan and promise to clear her vision and give her a Godly understanding. May she be a great blessing to this nation for many, many years to come!

Lord, I pray that the dust will be removed from her eyes and she will have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to obey you. Proverbs 21:1 – “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” Father God, turn her heart and cause her to make decisions according to your words, like a blink of an eye, snap of a finger, divine reversal according to your ruling. I pray for our new Supreme Court Justice to be a wise thoughtful constitutionalist upholding our laws, one who recognizes she answers to the Supreme Judge who rules in the heavens.
I will pray that the eyes of the black woman, who will be chosen to fill the SCOTUS seat, will have clear vision to rule properly.
I will pray for 50 days for the judge to be appointed by God, with wisdom and knowledge of the Constitution. That the actions of the chosen one will have eyes to see, ears to hear, heart pierced and be led by the Lord Jesus Himself and only Him.
Some justices appointed by conservatives have surprised them and sided with progressives more than the President expected. May the justice appointed by President Biden surprise in the other direction and side with the Constitution in unexpected ways.
Lord Jesus I pray for all our earthly justices to receive and obey your heavenly will. It’s strange that at this time in the world that a woman would be renamed as a birthing person yet in the case of nominating a replacement justice the term they choose to use is WOMAN! They pick and choose like demented people.

As I listened to reporting about Breyer’s retirement and the people speculating on who might be nominated I knew in my spirit this is a powerfully important opportunity to pray! Inviting the Lord into this process and using it for His purposes. I did feel the inspiration to pray that the person that is nominated be the one the Lord can reach and use for justice in spite of any impure motives for them being nominated. The Supreme Court has exceeded the authority given by our Founding Fathers and unrighteous leaders have usurped what the Court was to be. I ask that You, Righteous Judge would right the Court and I especially pray for the choice for replacement of Justice Breyer. With You NOTHING is a given and the specks before the face of the woman in this vision is an indication to me that You are at already at work and these specks are placed there in the eyes of the President to hide the face of what they expect of a liberal choice of this President until You reveal Your choice.
