Where is justice in the impeachment hearing?
Is it justice that:
- The man that “blew the whistle” cannot be questioned.
- Rep. Adam Schiff, who colluded with the informant, also cannot be questioned. Additionally, he is in a completely compromised position leading the inquiry.
- Republicans have to ask permission to question anyone and Schiff can deny them due process.
- Republicans get a mere 5 minutes at the conclusion of a witness to pose a question unless Schiff determines he won’t let them.
- The president does not get to speak up on his own behalf.
- The president’s lawyer was denied access to the “witnesses.”
- The “witnesses” were all interviewed behind closed doors so Democrats could craft what they wanted to say and throw out witnesses who didn’t say what they wanted. While there were Republicans on the Intelligence Committee, they were denied access to some of the testimonies.
- VP Biden, and his son, Hunter, cannot be called to be questioned. And the video in which Biden implicates himself in bribery and “quid pro quo” by threatening the Ukrainians is ignored.
- The new guidelines allow Jerry Nadler, head of the Judiciary Committee, to block President Trump’s lawyers from cross-examining witnesses.
- Leading the witness and hearsay evidence, which are not allowed in a court of law, are encouraged in the proceedings.
Speaking about these last-minute new impeachment guidelines, Representative Tom Cole of Oklahoma, the top Republican of the Rules Committee stated, “This thing has been poisoned from the very beginning. Now, we are going to have rules presented to us at the last minute that we had nothing to do with. No negotiation. No input. Not even, ‘Hey, what would you like to see in this thing?’”
The way the Democratic leaders have written these guidelines sounds like a game of “Mother May I.” The Republicans must ask and wait to see if Rep. Schiff will decide to allow them to participate. It is totally up to his discretion.
Is this just? Is this the way that the legal process normally works in our free society?

Oh Lord our Lord how majestic is Your name in all the earth and all Your works! Our nation has been guilty of casting You aside for our own pleasure, we have come to the end of it and are seeing the destruction coming for our folly. It is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people, which are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We are here asking. You, oh Lord, have brought us a leader who is standing up against the enemies of our nation, he boldly proclaims Your name in full view of the nations, he has rightfully proclaimed Jerusalem to be Your holy city in Your holy land and is recognized by us as such, he has asked this nation for prayer, he has called elders together (righteous men and women) to lift him and his family for courage, leadership and protection. We humbly ask You to intervene again and to exposed those who are corrupt and will to bring down our nation for their benefit if not stopped. There is a heavenly war being waged against us, but I choose to be believe You have provided an army to fight for us and they are there just like they were for David when he took on Goliath, when they were there for Joshua as the walls of Jericho tumbled, when they held back the waters of the Red Sea for Moses and Your people fled Egypt. O Almighty Lord our God, who sits enthroned over the flood as King forever (Psalms 29:10 NIV), who always works behind the scenes, whose word never return to Him empty but always accomplish what He desires
and achieves the purpose for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11 NIV), we as Your children turn our eyes and hearts to You and cry out to You, fully trust in Your everlasting and living Word. Nothing is hidden from You Lord, just as You proclaim in Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. We pray Lord that You will disclose whatever is hidden in darkness. As Jesus says: There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made-known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs (Luke 12:2-3 NIV). Sovereign Lord, we pray for Your reign over this whole impeachment farce. We pray for Your humility to be with President Trump whom You have called and placed in the white house for our nation at such a time as this so that he will be lifted up by You above all his attackers. We pray for Your justice to be displayed on those who have haughty eyes and proud heart against You and Your people that they will be humiliated and put to shame for what they’ve done. Help us O Lord to remember Jesus’ victory on the cross and fix our eyes on You and You alone. We’ll not give in to fear nor back off in this battle because Jesus is our Commander in Chief. We repent for all the atrocities that we’ve allowed to happen! Jezebel can’t stand repentance! We humble ourselves Lord and ask forgiveness for our sins and judgements and your word says to bless our enemies and then you will do what your word says and that is to heap coals on their heads. Oh that they would turn from their sins and bow their knees before it’s too late. Your word says that the later day reign will be greater than the former and that the glory of the Lord will flood the whole earth. Use us to spread hope where there is hopelessness. Cover D. Perfect perfect response to what’s happening to our government system and our president! I will use it to pray over the impeachment situation every time I think about it (which is far too often). God knows the way of the righteous, He knows the plans He has for this nation and it’s leadership, He knows the chaff that needs to be blown away! He is Lord, and we will not tremble at His enemy!

Those of us who love our country can see how terrible and wrong these proceedings are. Satan is laughing because it looks like he’s winning here. But we know the One Who is in control, and nothing can thwart His will or His ways. Father God, we ask that You come against this darkness, these lies, and the evil intents in the hearts of those who want to destroy our country. In the Name of Jesus and through the power of His shed blood on Calvary, we intercede for our President, for his family, and for others who are standing with him. May Your light penetrate and pierce the darkness, and may Your Truth prevail. Protect and watch over President Trump, the man You have placed as our President. Lord of all I lay this Nation that embraces lawlessness (no regard for human life,crimes, violence) and ask Your mercy and forgiveness for it’s sins. I pray for the Spirit of Truth over this Impeachment situation, over our Education Programs and schools and the ungodly media. Lord I pray that You as our Holy God would cleanse this Nation from sexual Immorality and bring cleansing from sin and restoration of Biblical Truths over it. Forgive us as a Church for our failures. Bring repentance and revival to the Church. May we rightly have understanding of Fear of You. You are all- consuming Fire, the only Plumb line. They are not going after a man who won an election. You placed Donald Trump in office so the rabble-rousers are not fighting against the president, but against YOU! We grieve over the ubiquitous deception in our nation and can scarcely believe the delusion that has gripped so many in the vain pursuit of impeachment. We already know that fighting against You is in vain. Psalm 2 asks: Why is the nation in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? The rulers counsel together against the Lord and His chosen one. He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury. Ask of Me and I will surely give you the nations as an inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. Therefore we come before You, our Father in heaven, to ask for our nation. We ask that it would be Your possession. We ask that the USA would turn back to You and again become a God-fearing country. There is a war in the heavenliness against the USA. No man can stand against Your purposes. I Corinthians 1:20 “Where is the wise man? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?”
I Corinthians 3:19 “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, ‘He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness’.” When those who are ungodly, yet arrogantly consider themselves wise, You know how to turn their evil intent back on themselves. Haman hung on the gallows he had built for righteous Mordecai. May we, Your people, praise You because You’ve “got this”. You will checkmate them just when they are thinking they are winning.
