“During a White House news conference on Monday evening, Nielsen debunked the media’s false claims that conflate all child border crossers as being taken from their border crossing parents.
Nielsen said that the “vast, vast majority” of the 12,000 child border crossers in federal custody were actually sent to the southern border alone with human smugglers.
REPORTER: …How is this not specifically child abuse for these innocent children who are indeed being separated from their parents? [Emphasis added]
NIELSEN: So I want to be clear on a couple of other things. The vast majority, vast vast majority of children who are in the care of HHS right now — 10,000 of the 12,000 — were sent here alone by their parents. That’s when they were separated. So somehow we’ve conflated everything. But there’s two separate issues. 10,000 of those currently in custody were sent by their parents with strangers undertake a completely dangerous and deadly travel alone. We now care for them. We have high standards. We give them meals, we give them education, we give them medical care. There’s videos, there’s TVs, I visited the detention centers myself. That would be my answer to that question. [Emphasis added]
The establishment media was silent when the Bush administration and Obama administration separated border crossing families for processing and detention, a policy that was chronicled by Breitbart Texas and revealed in 2014 photos how Obama’s DHS was cramming child border crossers into detention facilities.
Earlier this month, multiple establishment media outlets — including the New York Times and Washington Post — were forced to issue corrections after they falsely claimed that the Trump administration’s border policy was to separate families….

I continue to thank God for sustaining President Trump through the constant stream of attacks, hostilities and harassment from the media and opposition from the Democratic Party. Am grateful for spirit of truth and boldness as demonstrated by Ms. Nielsen, same for Nicky Hailey and for the truthful reporting of facts from IFA so I can know how to pray specifically. I also continue to support Trump, prayers to protect him, his family and VP Pence, and the Cabinet. We are seeing a window (period of time) for God to advance His kingdom. Let us always humble ourselves before God and expect healing in our land! We cry out in Jesus’s name.
I thank President Trump for tackling this issue, unlike the spineless establishment from both parties who won’t give an inch either way to solve this problem. He is only trying to enforce the useless laws that are on the books. May MANY MANY prayers be said for our GREAT president who cares about US.

Also pray Isaiah 54:17 for Mr. Trump and our country. I agree with JB. Also we must realize that these people come from different societies with differing values. Many see no problem sending their child off alone on such a trek. Where in this country it is considered horrible and illegal.
I find that The Untied States of America and the American people are the ones who are carrying the brunt of this situation.
Shame on the parents who actually let their child take this journey by themselves, let alone with evil all around them.
Why are we not looking at the countries they are coming from?
How is it that no focus is on their leaders?
How is it that that American tax payer has to continue carrying the tax
burden for those who use their kids to get a pass on breaking the law?
What about the American citizen and their separation from their loved one who was killed at the hands of those illegal immmigrants?
What about those in Congress and the Senate who now all the sudden, talking about the Kids and how horrible it is that these kids are separated from their parents, look at past remarks , they surely had no concern even a year ago.
I have to obey the laws, how is it that people from other countries do not, and then they are rewarded when they break the law??
