Progressivism is no different from the collectivist ideologies of the past. It’s simply the same BS with new packaging. It’s the god-state, and history has taught the wise that men with unlimited political power become monsters.

Thank you, Dave, for clear analysis. Agree we should not use their language. May we REPENT on our faces with Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah and others for our sins AND the sins of our fathers and cry out to our Father for a Josiah Reformation. Cleanse our temples and renew a right spirit within us. In Jesus’ Precious Name.

There are so many single issues that separate the Left and Right, but Leftism is founded on the old lie that man can be like God.

Voting for a Democrat is only wise when a Nazi or Communist is running against him/her.

Thank you Jesus for men such as Dave who are not afraid to speak Your truth. We ask for pure hearts to intercede on behalf of our great Nation. May Your will be done in our country as Your people humble tHemselves, seek Your face and turn from our sinful ways. Based on this, I beseech You to forgive our sins and heal our land. Amen

It is a biblical lens. This requires the whole meal – Genesis through Revelation. The Torah/Tanakh lays the sound lens. Our populace and churches have cherry-picked and created false churches, counterfeit beliefs therein “faith”, false Christ, false Father(s), et al. Many lens sound nice to many people, yet if it’s not YHWH’s it is not His only begotten Son’s, nor HIS Spirit.

I think Dave lays it out (and I may say he does it well and is quite informative) in such a way that we would have the compassion for intercession.

You given them the language! We have all given them the language. Why does everyone insist on calling them progressives. They are Regressives. We must start calling them that. Progressive sounds so good. Most of their policies are not good! Thanks for listening

This poor guy thinks progressives hearts are in the right place???????? Not what scripture says, because scripture says their hearts seek after blood & evil: Prov 1:11-16

11 If they say, Come with us; let us lie in wait [to shed] blood, let us ambush the innocent without cause [and show that his piety is in vain];

12 Let us swallow them up alive as does Sheol (the place of the dead), and whole, as those who go down into the pit [of the dead];

13 We shall find and take all kinds of precious goods [when our victims are put out of the way], we shall fill our houses with plunder;

14 Throw in your lot with us [they insist] and be a sworn brother and comrade; let us all have one purse in common–

15 My son, do not walk in the way with them; restrain your foot from their path;

16 For their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.

    Proverbs 1 and elsewhere – their hearts run to evil. From my perspective that is so very true of those who are used by the enemy to lead and foment the progressive movement. They are not God-fearing in any way. They lead based on the principles of evolution as Dave Kubal points out. However, many of those who follow are simply hopeful sheep. And, Jim, these people do have good hearts though deceived by the deceitfulness of sin and having been immersed in the precepts of evolution. Deep down they long for the manifestation of the Kingdom of God where all actually will be good. All creation yearns. But people are easily deceived into thinking that they, through social evolution, can bring about peace and the perfect reign of man through their own evolved superior efforts. They either do not recognize, ignore or they deny their own depravity. Dave has hit the nail on the head. He needs to clarify the heart issue, in my opinion.

    From the perspective that ‘Progressives’ want people and people’s lives to be improved, their ‘hearts are in the right place’. This is often a genuine desire. But as Dave pointed out,how they go about pursuing this ‘improvement’ is doomed, since it’s without God’s perspective on humanity and without reliance on Biblical principles. So, in their unbiblical moral relativity, what they decide is ‘good’ for people often contradicts Bible truth and what used to be viewed as rational thinking. ‘Hearts in the right place’ only applies to their desire for a better outcome for people, not to their belief system and resulting actions.

This is the scriptural reference for the foundational division between the two: Prov 1:11-16

11 If they say, Come with us; let us lie in wait [to shed] blood, let us ambush the innocent without cause [and show that his piety is in vain];

12 Let us swallow them up alive as does Sheol (the place of the dead), and whole, as those who go down into the pit [of the dead];

13 We shall find and take all kinds of precious goods [when our victims are put out of the way], we shall fill our houses with plunder;

14 Throw in your lot with us [they insist] and be a sworn brother and comrade; let us all have one purse in common–

15 My son, do not walk in the way with them; restrain your foot from their path;

16 For their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.

I thank the Lord for this ministry regularly! Every joint supplies and your part is s vital supply to the body of Christ! Thank you for your insight and understanding. Your gifting takes you places we cannot comprehend so thoroughly and as you explain and break it down for us we can then agree and pray with greater accuracy. Please, never be moved by the numbers that don’t respond. Prayer is the least attended to in the body of Christ, but if we have two or more agreeing and/or we activate our faith towards God, we can move mountains! God continue to bless, keep and use you in this mighty way!

    Amen! In total complete agreement with you and all who are praying for this! We need to keep our Government and all leaders in prayer every single day that we are allowed to be here! 1 Timothy 2:1-4 1.First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered on behalf of all men 2.for kings and all those in authority, so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. 3.This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4.who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
    God bless!
