I Prayed have prayed
Father God, we pray for protection for our military and intelligence officers and service men and women and wisdom for our strategic leaders. We also pray for strengthening of the Church in Iran.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

So, just who is this top Iranian general the U.S. just eliminated?

For many of us who watch and analyze news out of the Middle East daily, he was the world’s number one bad guy.

Qasem Soleimani has been in control of Iran’s Quds Force for more than 20 years. His current greatest hits include helping Bashar al Assad slaughter hundreds of thousands of his own people in the Syrian civil war, stoking the Houthis in Yemen’s civil war, and overseeing the killing of hundreds of Iraqi protesters recently demonstrating against Iranian influence in their country.

Soleimani is one of the Iranian leaders in the IFA prayer guide on the U.S./Iran conflict. Our prayer guides provide intercessory intelligence that help you understand what’s going on behind the headlines and  inform effective intercession.

But most importantly for Americans, Soleimani was behind the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers during the Iraq War. Last year, the U.S. State Department put the number of Americans killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq at 608 since 2003.

The killing of Soleimani doesn’t have the emotional power of the takedown of Osama bin Laden, and he wasn’t even as well-known to Americans as ISIS founder Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. But in many ways, taking him out means much more in terms of saving current lives. Remember that bin Laden and al Baghdadi were mostly out of business and in hiding at the time of their deaths. Solemani was busier than ever, directing mayhem all over the Middle East and beyond. . . .

We’re already hearing from a number of critics that this move will likely backfire against the U.S. and will provoke Iran to retaliate even more forcibly against American and its allies. To those people making those warnings, there’s really only one thing to say: “Welcome to the party, pal!”

That’s because Iran has really been at war with the U.S. since 1979. The killing of hundreds of our troops in Iraq, the constant terrorism it sponsors and supplies against Israel, and even the recent provocations against oil traffic in the Persian Gulf are all acts of war from which there really is no retreat without severe consequences. For the Trump administration, it would appear the embassy attack was the last straw. It was also one that provided the ultimate opportunity to eliminate Soleimani as he foolishly left his home country and made himself more physically and legally vulnerable.

. . . Soleimani was a very effective and deadly leader of the world’s most active and pervasive terrorist army. The knee-jerk assumptions we will hear from those who say that someone else will simply take his place and be just as effective and deadly probably come from people who truly don’t know how powerful and effective Soleimani was. He’s going to be a very hard act to follow.

For now, Soleimani’s death is justice for the thousands of deaths he caused all over the world and to his own people. It may have seemed like swift justice Friday morning, but it was actually a long time coming.

CNBC is deep state globalist controlled media. Consider Ron Paul’s Liberty Report.

Praying in agreement with these prayers. God is so good to provide us with a president who is reminiscent of Ronald Reagan and Winston Churchill- someone who truly understands that culture of the Middle East does not sway to peace talks, but rather the Middle East respects a leader of resolution. We need Trump “for such a time as this” and God has truly blessed us with him. Jesus, cover him and his family and staff in Your blood while opening the blind eyes of naysayers such as Colin Kaepernick and Beth Moore. And, Father, as church services begin all across this nation today, please let the pastors pray blessings on our President as Your Word instructs, rather than use the pulpits as a place of division. Amen

We intercessors can use the power of God’s Word as our weapon

May the enemy be
confused and entrapped in its own Lies and
Aggression.

2Cor 10:4 KJV “For the Weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of Strongholds…”

Put on the Whole Armor of God which includes using the Word of God as a sword.
(Eph 6:17)

I agree with Norma and Dorothy. Haynes replies with God’s Word:
Rom 13:4 NIV which explains God’s assignment to our President, who is protecting our nation, while being severely
criticized.

Rom 13:4 KJV describes: “He is a minister of God for good……..to revenge.”

I believe it’s God who shined his Light on IraniSoleimani who was Out of his homeland Iran and who was moving from area to troop area in Iraq, heavily guarded.
What are the odds of finding, then killing this horrible terrorist Out of his homeland?

Now, we Intercessors need to pray to our God to remove the next successor, Gannai.
Do Not be afraid of “starting” a war. We have been entrapped in this same war started by Iran and. terrorists during previous administrations.

GOD’s WILL BE DONE
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

Please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm fueling terrorism. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground, in Jesus name, Amen.

Response to Noel: The progressives are not into protecting our country. Their objective is to remain in control and hold onto their power while appeasing our enemies. They use every crisis as an advantage in blaming their opponents and dividing our nation. They are after power. Strictly power. Term limits for staff, congress and the senate is imperative at this time due to the immense entrenchment of corruption. The President made this decision on the basis of intelligence and reliance on our military expertise. The democrats are clueless as to how to respond to terrorists because they are not about protecting the American people. This is a win for our President in the eyes of those who are aware of the threat and those engaged in intercessory prayer.
Evil is not deterred by appeasement or compromise but only in a complete affront and direct hit. Remember World War II was not won by appeasement but by an offensive action to courageously defend the free world. As FDR stated, “The only thing we have to fear is fear, itself.”

Mary, ??? Huh?? I’m guessing that you’re agreeing with me (rather than refuting me, as I requested in closing), and, moreso, (agreeing with) the Pompeo video’d interview in the link provided. Thank you for your assuring words of confirmation. Constant. Fervent. Prayer.

Noel, Your statement of how the democrats could have possibly set this up is what I was addressing. What setup? The Elimination of Qasem Soleimani during Trump’s campaign?
      Perhaps I misunderstood.

I bind fear and the temptation to succumb to human reasoning. Father God, we turn to You and trust You that You are able according to the power within us Eph 3:20 to over see this situation and protect this President as he seeks to courageously protect this country and Israel and ultimately all who have been threatened by this mans vicious actions as a pawn of the devil. We bind the plans of the enemy to deceive and intimidate in the name of Jesus! And loose the power of almighty God at every source of the enemies efforts. Thy Kingdom come! Thy will BE done! on earth as it is in heaven! Bless President Trump, Mike Pompeo, and all who are in positions of authority and grant them wisdom as to how to proceed. Thank You.. Amen

Amen, in agreement with your prayer, Norma. Romans 13:4 reads, “He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer” (NIV). This is what President Trump and our military were doing, bringing punishment on the wrongdoer, and they had God’s help doing it.

    Thank you.

Two thoughts:
1. I’m surprised that you didn’t include Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s statement (link follows). Although ambiguous (of necessity), it says a LOT more to me than anything ANYONE else has said about it. https://www.axios.com/us-iran-mike-pompeo-soleimani-strike-imminent-attack-214542b0-4738-4474-bfb0-caed3b607089.html
2. Listening to a radio talk show earlier tonight about this, they mentioned twice how the timing of this is especially bad for (President?/Candidate?) Trump (in an election campaign season). It, therefore, strongly occurred to me that this might-could-possibly have been orchestrated/set up (behind the scenes, of course) by Democrats and/or their cronies. Whether as a diversion or to deliberately sabotage his campaign, it’s VERY plausible. Although I don’t think that they are smart enough to come up with this, I’m convinced that they are certainly hateful enough, power-hungry enough and proud/arrogant/narcissistic enough. Please refute this as to why I could be wrong, as I would much prefer to be!
