I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Thank God for this encouraging report about the great percentage of Americans who interact with the Bible and want to read it more. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit through the reading and hearing of God’s Word.

Whoever is of God hears the words of God. (John 8: 47 ESV)

More Americans are expressing interest in increasing their interaction with the Bible, according to the annual State of the Bible 2018 research—commissioned by American Bible Society (@americanbible) and conducted by Barna Group (@barnagroup).

The report reveals a majority of Americans, 57%, declare they wish they used the Bible more than they currently do. While 89% of those who are considered Bible Engaged desire to increase their Bible use, 70% of those considered Bible Neutral are also interested in greater time with the Bible.

How would you describe your interaction with the Bible? Leave a comment.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Many across our land are looking for answers to the wickedness and corruptness that has happened to people and individuals. They have heard our president make mention of God and seen how such positive things are happening, such as returning to the concepts spelled out in our United States Constitution.

I know that across our great nation churches and people are praying for revival. I was encouraged by this report that many are considering the Word of God for themselves once again. PRAISE THE LORD.

I’d started a small devotional of my own. I write one Scripture reference in a small notebook (God speaking to me) and I write a quick response (I’m speaking to God). It’s changed my life.

I look forward to my morning cup of coffee to start my day. But even more do I look forward to sitting with my Bible for communion with my Lord. And I have come to realize that hunger for the Word of God and famine from it is an even greater hunger and famine than that of physical food. The soul needs and longs for spiritual nourishment. God’s Word is our necessary food!

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God[b] and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

You may see many error words but still, there is the power and inspiration in the Word of God the Holy Bible. God bless you all. Thank you.

Where else can we learn Truth than the Living Word of God? There is no higher standard. Oh, that everyone would honor & cherish God’s Word and consider it instructions for living! What a better world we would live in!!!
