This past weekend, two unprecedented events happened on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., drawing thousands of worshipers, intercessors…and women. The first event was a miracle of collaboration among intercessors from across the nation, and the other a testament to the tenacity and determination of praying mothers.
Starting Friday evening, October 9, AWAKEN THE DAWN began a marathon of prayer and worship (read our story HERE). The entire mall was transformed into a tent city with 57 tents representing the states of the union, various regions of the country, and one honoring Israel. Intercessors led in prayer and worship in every tent, day and night until 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. Whether it was a group of 3 or 4, or a larger gathering of 100, everywhere you walked you heard the sounds of intercession, adoration, praise, and crying out to the Lord to heal this nation and her people. There was no holding back, but a boldness in prayer and passion in worship. Truly, this was not just an exercise or performance, but an offering of thanksgiving and love to One who is worthy.
Though there were various speakers and worship leaders who ministered intermittently on a center stage, they were not the focus. Jesus was. There was a continual reminder that worship was the goal. Walking onto the grounds Saturday morning, I heard a young man leading from the main stage in spontaneous worship, simply singing the phrase “Holy, holy, holy…” over and over again. The purity of his heart and simplicity of worship covered the entire field. Even walking in from the back, I could feel the tangible presence of the Lord as everyone was caught up in adoration of The Holy One. Everywhere I looked, from the very back to the very front, people were in worship. It was as if a blanket of heaven dropped and everyone was wrapped in awe. It was a clear demonstration of the pleasure of heaven when we worship Him in the beauty of His holiness (Psalm 29:2).
Knowing that worship and prayer can shift atmospheres and open up hearts to the gospel, there were also calls to evangelism. The rallying cry throughout the event was for a new Jesus Movement to be birthed among the millennials. Several missions organizations presented opportunities for believers to go into the harvest field with renewed faith for miracles. There were also calls for racial reconciliation with testimonies shared about new initiatives being birthed to heal the racial divide.
On Monday morning, October 9, the baton was handed to Lou Engle of The Call which was hosting the all-day event called RISE UP. This gathering of praying women from across the nation was inspired by another event held exactly 20 years earlier on the National Mall. “Stand in the Gap,” hosted by Promise Keepers in 1997 drew over 1 million men. “In 1997, men stood in the gap. In 2017, women rise up!” The call was for women to come and cry out for this next generation as Deborah’s and Esther’s to see a nation delivered.
Even in the morning rain, hundreds gathered to lift up prayers of intercession and repentance. Much time was given to dealing with the sins of abuse against women as well as the sins of abortion. Times of confession included personal repentance as well as small group prayer and ministry. A powerful charge was given to those wanting to see the end of abortion by asking them to consider adopting those unwanted children. Engle felt that this “spirit of adoption” (Romans 8:15) could be a prophetic sign to our culture that God desires for every person to be loved and belong.
Though the crowds may not have appeared as large as the Promise Keepers event of 1997, there is no question there are more believers interceding, worshiping, and praying than ever before. With access to the internet, live-streaming, and Facebook, thousands more were able to participate online and join in from other locations. Though everyone may not meet in the same place, it is evident our hearts are in the same place all across this nation and there is no doubt that heaven is hearing our prayers.

It is no accident that this beautiful event occurred during the biblical Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot… That God’s Spirit moved among his people Gathering them into tents (modern day equivelent of Sukkot) in the capital city of a land that is being called back to worship the God who is calling them to walk in His ways of holiness, purity and righteousness just as Jeremiah spoke (31:31-33)
We serve a mighty God faithful… unchanging… his mercies endure forever and promises never fail!
Thank-you Jesus! You NEVER fail. The presence, power & perfect peace of the Holy Spirit was so EVIDENCE in atmosphere there. Very humbling, spiritual invigorating & hope filled gathering. We SAW young speak accurate biblical bold blessings in Michigan tent. We wept as black/white/asian/hispanics LOVED one another well. Our beloved Pastor Steve Berger Grace Chapel, Franklin, TN opened up Fri. night humbling himself on his knees before all heaven & earth on the stage. (We never even knew he’d be doing this, as he did not draw that to our church’s attention in advance.) That led to Pastor after Pastor, Leader after Leader, Saint after Saint authentically repenting to the LORD time after time at ATD. The main stage was continually filled with confessions, forgiveness, humble prayers & fervent worship. Even the POWERFUL young blond worship leader (who’s name I did not catch) opening up before Francis Chan Sat. night kneeled repeatedly down on stage – bowing before King Jesus.
I believe the evidence was ALL around – we WILL see VICTORY as revival breaks out across this nation. Holy Spirit you ARE welcome in America! Praise be to God our Father who has not forgotten us. Rend your hearts church. Joel 2:12 is the key to reformation we so deeply need – starting with each of us.

My message though The Call is this that the women of God have answer the call to Rise Up and Awaken the Dawn. Oh, daughters of Zion be the voice of the heart of God sounding the last trumpet.
Call forth the mighty army of the heavenly realm to be moved as the prayers an synergy of the ages is being released over the land. And the bowl of incense along with the prayers of the saints of old are be poured out over the land, like liquid honey covering the earth to its very core.
There’s liquid Love that’s sweeter than anything the world has ever tasted before being pour out and entering the heart of my people, transforming lives to their creative forum as this transfusion of love permeates the air ways, heart, soul, mind, and body. Gods rebuilding the walls of the spiritual fortress as The Mighty Spirit of Jehovah broods across the land, theirs a sound of a Mighty Rushing Wind blowing forth as the people of God pray, this sound releasing the oracles of the brass of Heaven into the dwelling places of the earth as I’m preparing to pour out my spirit over the earth as I promised in My Word, says The Lord! The whole earth will be shaken as My Spirit is being birth across the land the birth pangs will cause the earth to be moved and the seas to roar and cause tsunami wave to cover the outer banks of the land. Many will Parrish as my righteous judgement and wrath is being poured out over those that promote evil, they shall tremble with fear and be consumed by the eternal flames of judgement for they silenced The Voice of God and listen to the voice of other gods. Their idols will crumble to ashes at the shaking of the Lord. The righteous among them will not be forsaken and their hearts will be glad and filled with tears of joy as they will have finally made it to their eternal home. My Paradise destiny awaits those who believe in My Eternal fountain of Love being poured out over the land. The ekklesia my remnant body of believers are releasing the sounds of heaven over the earth as the Spirit moves and fills the temple bringing restoration to the hearts and lives of the children of God.
Bringing waves, upon waves of Revival across the earth like never seen before. Our Creator Is moved His Outstretched Hand is reaching down from heaven rescuing lives from the impending doom of judgment. His Righteous Love will not allow the in justice He sees to go on any longer. He’s balancing the scales of justice over the land. The shedding of innocent blood will be no more, says The Lord. My Eternal Voice will silence those who are against me, their lips will tremble with fear and their voices will not be heard anymore only those, I have appointed will have a voice in the land, say The Lord.
I’m releasing sounds of victory over the land as my people humble themselves and pray the women of God will bring forth the birth that cause The Spirit of God to be moved, so the mighty men of Valor wearing the Armor of the Lord can go forth an defeat the enemies of the earth. The war that’s being waged in the heavenly realm will be displayed here on earth as tens of thousands will fall to the left, and tens of Thousands to My Right as I’m separating the wheat from the tares in the great last days harvest sweeping across the land. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few the threshing floor are ripe for harvest and the pickers will be you. Who will choose to follow My ways and do that which I have called you to do. Miracle’s will happen, souls will be won, deaf ears will open, blind eyes will see, and the dead shall rise at The Sound of My voice. Through earthen vessels of clay formed by the Masters hands they will perform like masterpiece works of art on display for its intended design.
So, take courage O’people of God for the Lord is with you, He will not leave you, He will not forsake you for He promises in His Word and He’s a Righteous Ruler that can never lie. The word of God says, I will never leave you or forsake you.
So, trust Him in all His Glory with the Train of His Robe that fills the Temple. He’s preparing His spotless bride for the marriage supper of the Lamb as the travails of intercession go forth from the Deborah’s and Ester’s of the of the land. The Heavenly banqueting table is being prepared for the feast of the tabernacles of the earth, created and formed by the Almighty to partake in His ceremonial festivities.
The atmosphere is changing, The Spirit of The Lord declares, I’m here with you in the middle of the battle, I’m with in midst of the oceans roar, I’m the Voice of the One in the wilderness silence before The Lions Roar. The Roaring sound of The Lions tribe of Judah is marching across the land defeating the enemies plan. The Natives first people, the watchmen of the lands, set forth the Spirit moving with Eagles wings soaring across the land, releasing sounds from heaven from my peoples praises once again. The great outpourings from AZUSA, or the Flames of Toronto, will not compare to the purest Texas crude oil that’s bubbling up within the earth’s core. Texas size will not be able to contain what is about to be poured out over the earth. So, prepare you hearts, open up your earthen vessels an get ready to receive the greatest out pouring the world has ever seen. Swing wide the heavenly gates and prepare the way for the coming of the Lord.

Shaloha,very humbling and blessed to have been in DC for this call of prayer for our Country and President. Being from Hawaii we are not be able to attend many movements of God on mainland. These are historic times as our Lord said in His words. Believing these United States will be united under God once again and blessed like never before. Mahalo KaAkua

It was an honor and a privilege to worship our Sovereign Father God and our Savior, Lord, and King with fellow followers from all 50 states. As we worshiped and cried out with a strong sense of unity for our country, our President and his Cabinet, for racial conciliation, and for the Church of Jesus Christ, there was a strong sense of divine destiny.
I walked the Mall all night when I was not in the Virginia prayer tent. Each night there was an other-worldly awareness of His Presence everywhere I went…literally, it was as if God’s kingdom had touched Earth. Glory to God for his goodness that penetrates the deepest darkness and sends His light and life with him!
We were so thankful to be a part of waking the dawn and the worship was just awesome!
Heidi Baker gave us a challenge to lay down our lives for the sake of the Gospel.
We visited every pertinent and the only regret is that we did not post on Facebook that we were there Friday and Saturday because friends of ours from Colorado and Pennsylvania & maybe others were there too!
We came with the Tabernacle from Orchard Park and we got to know many wonderful people that love the Lord.
We are thinking of stopping in Washington DC again on the way back from another trip.
Perhaps, we will be able to be a part of things next year too and staying even longer!
I am greatly humbled by your Mighty Hand being demonstrated this past weekend, dear Lord. I am greatly encouraged that you do speak loud enough for our distracted hearts to hear, that you move and lead in intimate ways: visions, dreams, friends….i am humbled by the devotion of my brothers and sisters to fast and wait for your confirmation, and then to be extra confirmed by the Feast of Tabernacles…for you are bringing us together again, Messianic Jews and Christians as it was in the early church. May the prayers prayed this past weekend continue to rise up to you for the sake of :our youth, who have been lied to more than any other generation ever; for our country, who has lost it’s way and it’s people oppressed; and for your Bride here; that she would respond in singleness of mind to Jesus her Bridegroom. You are an awesome God, we praise your Name. In Jesus name, Amen
Praise Father God. The heart of our Father has led me to pray for repentance and revival for our country each morning for 9 months, using 2 Chron 7:14 as my prayer guide. What a blessing He has bestowed on our land during this time of His Festival of Tabernacles. All glory, honor and praise belongs to our Heavey Father.

YES! I set aside the whole weekend to “participate” via livestreaming. I was exhausted after 4 days of praying, worshiping, weeping–but it was great to be able to share since I couldn’t be there in person. I saw people from other countries checking in, via internet–and joining with us! There could easily have been millions who participated!
Praise God! We joined in here from Michigan. Awake us O Lord! Set our hearts on fire for you.
Wish I could have been there; my heart is willing, but my feet were not able; Praise God for the lifting up of men/women/children in the service of the Lord. May a mighty outpouring of service and God’s love enliven everyone’s heart, mind and soul. I am with you,

Our local prayer group was interceding before and during the gatherings. Several were able to participate in DC. We felt connected through the Holy Spirit as we lifted them in prayer.
Ever so grateful to a friend that paid my way to attend this historic event. God was glorified, Jesus lifted up & Holy Spirit invited & He moved. Grateful to those that created this event to bring us together to worship, praise & come into agreement with the Father’s heart. Believing for manifestations on earth because of what was done in the Spirit.
It’s no mistake that Yah (God Almighty YHVH) has called us to be in Tents outside our homes in remembrance that we are just pilgrims passing through this Earth to share the LOVE of Yah to the Lost. Basically, God wants us to remember the temporary dwellings of the Children of Israel & He commands us to Rejoice & Celebrate in Tents (Tabernacles/Sukkot) & come together. We were in Tents (there were 13 tents representing the 12 Tribes + Joseph’s 2nd son= 13 Tribes. Today (We’d.10/11) is the 7th Day of SUKKOT, then we celebrate the 8th Day which is separate Feast from Tabernacles/SUKKOT. Be blessed. May Yah’s will be done.
It was a truly amazing experience being in Washington this past weekend ! Worshipping and praying and joining with our state tent NC for worship and Rise UP for women on Monday ! The rain may have kept away some but come rain or shine I was going to be there ! More importantly God showed up and moved in amazing ways! One lady from her food truck actually led 52 people to Jesus in 2 days ! PTL AMAZING move of the Holy Spirit !
Was happy to take part in the intercession and worship by way of livestream several times on Monday. While my body was not present in DC, my heart certainly was!
