The Islamic State (ISIS) has now taken credit for the Muslim massacre of Christians in Sri Lanka. On average over 300 Christians a month are killed for their faith globally. This is the end result of a campaign of disrespect and hate towards Christians that have become a significant theme of American politics as well.

Is it merely coincidental that the most rapidly rising candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, Pete Buttigieg launched his campaign with an unfounded and unprovoked attack on America’s vice president because he is a Christian? In fact, as Buttigieg’s governor in Indiana, Pence had been particularly generous to Buttigieg when he publicly revealed his sexual orientation. But Buttigieg would not be dissuaded by Pence’s gesture of tolerance.

Buttigieg’s hatred was inspired by Pence’s Christian beliefs not any anti-gay behavior on his part. In other words, it was an assault on Americans’ most basic freedom – religious liberty. Buttigieg’s attack took place without so much as a demurral from any national Democratic figure, and in fact led directly to Buttigieg’s ascension to third place in the Democratic primary race. That alone speaks volumes about the anti-Christian prejudices manifested by the left in this country.

Consider Barack Obama, who referred to the Sri-Lankans murdered in church as “Easter worshippers” — as though they were druids on holiday rather than Christians worshipping their savior on the day they believed He rose from the dead. The other side of this disrespect is the zeal with which leftists have closed ranks around supporters of the Islamic war against infidels like congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, both of whom have done fund-raising speeches for terrorist-related groups.

In a recent article about the Sri Lanka attacks in National Review, Doug Bandow writes: “Christianity’s dominant role in American culture has obscured the fact that it is the most persecuted faith globally.” In fact, Christianity is almost invisible in America’s public culture and is its most persecuted faith as well. (In terms of violent acts, filed under “hate crimes,” Jews are the most frequent targets, thanks to the anti-Semitic propaganda emanating from Muslim Brotherhood front groups and bigots like Ilhan Omar.  But unlike Jews, Christians are attacked for the specific beliefs of their faith.)

The Christians who created America made religious liberty and freedom of conscience the foundation of all Americans’ other freedoms. In doing so Christians gave a great gift, not only to Americans but to people all over the world whose freedoms Americans have defended. This America is now under attack. Freedom of speech for conservatives is now non-existent on America’s university campuses. They are in embryo the one-party state the Democratic Party is working overtime to achieve.

Democrats are determined to destroy the Electoral College, which was designed to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.  They are working to destroy America’s borders, give rapists, murderers and Boston Marathon bombers the right to vote, give non-citizens who are here illegally the right to vote, give children the right to vote, and oppose I.D.s at the ballot box so people who disrespect our democracy can vote as many times as they wish.

The war on American democracy has reached a critical point. To grasp the nature of this war, and to understand its goals, it is essential to recognize its origins in the war against Christians. Christian beliefs in the sanctity of life, in free will (and hence individual accountability), and in the flawed nature of humanity are the principal bulwark against our descent into the barbarism which progressivism promises us.

Father, Your Word tells us that the world will hate us because it hates You.
Lord, help us remember that their rage is not directed at us but at you so that we will not be tempted to give way to their anger and find ourselves at odds with you just as they are.
I pray that Your Peace will flood our lives as we walk in confidence of the One Who Loves us and is always at our side.
I pray that these others will have no peace, no rest, no joy, that they will be given glimpes of the destruction being stored up against that that they may repent; that they may come ask of Your Children the reason for the hope and peace that is in us.
And when they do Father, I pray that You draw them to Your Son that they may receive the gift of faith to be saved by Your Grace.

Michael Bethel I join you in your prayer and come in agreement with you!! We have the mind of Christ, therefore we pray for those that hate us or what we stand for!! For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers… (Ephesians 6:12) By faith I thank God already for keeping us at peace and giving us wisdom in every situation we face!! In Jesus Name!! Amen

Heavenly Father, LET THERE BE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS of this world. Father, we need YOUR light to shine brightly so people will know the Truth & the Truth can set them free. Father, Open our spiritual eyes and ears so we can see Your ways and hear Your voice. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Father, Your Word tells us to cast our cares on You for You care for us. Help us to obey You Lord. We cast this care of hate towards Your people on You and ask You to deliver us from this evil just as You delivered Your people from slavery in Egypt. Let Thy kingdom come & let Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen

Father God, Stir your people to wake from complacency, apathy, spiritual laziness and lack of prayer. This is a spiritual war and we “wrestle not with flesh and blood but with principalities, powers and unseen forces in heavenly places”. Help us to love those who hate us, just as did Jesus. Help us to remember our enemy is Satan who has blinded the minds of those who do not know You. Show us how to war in agreement with Your will. Teach us to pull down the strongholds of the wicked who are set against You, with our prayers.
Have mercy on your people in our ignorance, wake us up, stir us to be vigilant, consistent prayers, and ready at a moments notice to do battle with the enemy of our souls, Your Kingdom, the one who came to kill, steal and destroy.
Help us to know when to speak to a person, what to speak to them, and let our hears would be tuned to You so that our words would be Your words.
We are desperate for You, HELP us O Lord.

Father God, help us to guard our spirits against the hatred so prevalent in our society (and world) today. Fill us with your spirit and help us to stand against the wiles of the devil. Give us wisdom and the love to overcome evil with good. Thank you for bringing revival to America. In Jesus Name, Amen

Yes…seeing that phrase…Christians targeted for the specifics of belief. topping the list is abortion is murder. no equivocation. murder. Second is that homosexuality is an abomination to God. no equivocation. abomination. In fact there is a list of sexual perversions forbidden by our Creator in Lev 18. Yes it’s in red print. God Almighty said it. He doesn’t change. Politics is not our savior and this article helps us to prepare to stand in the face of persecution that is coming in earnest–here only in innuendo. No matter how many proclamations Mr. Trump makes, no matter how many reminders of what the constitution says, the court of public opinion is ruling the day now. In the minds of people. falling away. apostasy. were we not warned? prayer is effective in this interlude before judgment and justice falls. Stand.Pray…do as His Spirit tells you.

Father, I ask that You teach us how to love unconditionally the ones who hate You, Your Son, Jesus Christ and we, who, stand for You and Your Son. I ask that You give us courage, strength and peace to stand against the wiles of the devil as it continues to progress against Your people, whither Jewish or Followers of Jesus Christ. Father, we do not fight against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers of the devil. Help us to always remember this so we will be focused on the correct thing.

Where there is great darkness there will be more light and light overcomes darkness. LORD help us as Your Children to let Your light shine through us and shine upon the darkness that surrounds us. As the darkness grows let the light of Your love shine even brighter through us, so that we will be a great witness for You and Your Son because of You.

Thank You for allowing us to be here in this time for such a time as this.
Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen.

Jesus said to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. True love is stronger than hatred and greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Be informed, be vigilant, and be much in prayer. The lateness of the hour demands it.

The Lord also said to war demonic ideology. Jesus assaulted the money changer and called the Pharisee a bunch of devils bound for hell.

Without revival of Christendom, we will descend into barbarism.
