I Prayed have prayed
Lord, Your Word says 'let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God (Romans 13:1). Lord, we know this too holds true for the United States - let Your will reign!

On Monday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren reiterated her view that the Electoral College should be abolished and U.S. presidents should be elected by popular vote. “My goal is to get elected—but I plan to be the last American president to be elected by the Electoral College. I want my second term to be elected by direct vote,” she tweeted.

“Call me old fashioned, but I think the person who gets the most votes should win.”

Warren has a curious idea of what counts as “old fashioned,” since her position on the Electoral College puts her at odds with the decidedly old fashioned Founding Fathers, who rightly worried about what James Madison called the “tyranny of the majority.”

Democrats are apparently unbothered by this possibility, not least because they believe they’ve secured a permanent majority and, if they could just seize power, they would govern as benign rulers. What’s standing in their way is nothing less than our constitutional system.

That’s why you see Democrats coming out against not just the Electoral College but also the Senate and the Supreme Court. Why should Wyoming or Iowa have two votes in the Senate, so the thinking goes, when so few people live there? Why should five Supreme Court justices decide contentious questions about, say, gun rights? (Expect to hear howls of protest from the left if the gun rights case the justices heard on Monday, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. City of New York, doesn’t go their way.)

It’s not just Warren. According to one poll earlier this year, 60 percent of Democratic voters support abolishing the Electoral College, and much of the mainstream media seems to agree. After the 2016 election, The New York Times attacked the Electoral College as an “antiquated mechanism,” Time magazine published an article arguing the Electoral College was designed to protect slavery, and E. J. Dionne Jr. of The Washington Post compared it to a game of chance in a casino.

Since the 2016 election, 15 states (all of them blue) have joined the National Popular Vote movement, an interstate compact that would, if enough states joined it, award all of a state’s electoral votes to whichever candidate wins the national popular vote, regardless of who the voters in that state actually voted for.

Warren Really Wants a New American Regime

But Warren’s opposition to the Electoral College is more principled than Trump’s. Although couched in the facile rhetoric of “every vote counts,” she means just the opposite. Under a system of direct democracy, votes in places like Wyoming, Iowa, and every other small state wouldn’t really count at all. The country would effectively be ruled by New York and California—and indeed by the residents of the largest cities in those states.

That’s what Warren and the Democrats really want, they just can’t say it. They know that most large cities are blue and that the ongoing urbanization of America would give them a huge advantage if they were able to run their votes up in those districts and ignore the rest of the country.

It certainly would have been enough to put Hillary Clinton in the White House. In fact, the collapse of Democrats’ “blue wall” in 2016 is largely what’s behind the current assault on the Electoral College. Competing for the votes of working-class whites in Pennsylvania and Michigan doesn’t appeal to progressive 2020 candidates like Warren for the simple reason that she’s unlikely to win their votes, and she knows it.

O Father God, I pray that You will put an end to this demonic desire to establish a permanent demonic tyranny over this nation by breaking down and destroying the Biblically-inspired Principles this nation was founded upon. I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over this nation and against all evil desires such as abolishing the electoral college — which was an inspired safeguard against tyranny established by our founders. Thank You for our founders’ wisdom that was distilled from Your Word and from a knowledge of all of human history up to that time. I pray that You will raise up likeminded defenders of our republic for as long as it exists until Jesus’s return. Father, thank You so much for this nation, for blessing it so abundantly, and for the plans and purposes you desire for it. I pray that You will bless and protect it for the remainder of it’s existence for all those who love and appreciate it. Thank You Father that You have stated through Jeremiah that “If you can find just one honest person who lives according to My ways, I’ll spare the city of this horror.” (Jer.5:1) I pray that in the same way, if You can find just one uncompromisingly righteous person in America that You will protect it from destruction and from the desecration of it’s Constitution. Father, use this nation as an example of Christian Liberty and I pray that You will answer this prayer all for Your Glory alone. In Jesus’s Mighty Name, Amen.

To abolish the Electoral College, you will have to amend the Constitution and get 3/4 of the states to go along with it. Elizabeth Warren talks out of both sides of her mouth and will say only what she thinks people want to hear. She is from another planet.

Thank you Lord Jesus for allowing us to come boldly before the throne, for being the way back to the Father. We pray Lord that your will be done and that this nation would turn away from its on ways and back to you. I pray that the eyes of these citizens would be opened and their hearts softened to truth and fairness. Please Father, let Your justice, truth, and righteousness prevail! In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

The Republican President Abe Lincoln did not win the popular vote either. So Democrats such as Warren would have preferred that their then candidate Stephen Douglas (aforemost advocate of popular sovereignty) to have won. How different our country would have been! And how different it would be now if only the populous NY, CA, and IL really counted in the US elections…

No only must we pray fervently, but much action must be taken, writing letters, making phone calls. the electoral college MUST NOT be abolished. it would mean the ushering in of socialism for sure.

Lord I pray Your will to be done over this Nation. In Your mercy and Grace I pray that the Leader you have chosen for 2020 Election would be established so that Your plan will be fulfilled. Lord unite Your church to pray for understanding and to know what Spiritual Warfare to stand against. Thank you for the gift of prayer and that You hear our requests. In Jesus name. Amen
