Thank God for godly elected officials! So far this year we have featured 4 in our 2019 First Friday Prayer Conference Calls. It is so encouraging to pray for, and with, these godly men and women.
We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. (1 Thes 1:2)

May our heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ protect our leader, President Trump and his immediate family against evil and harm. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide Mr. Trump and lead him in the direction that he needs to go to make our country great again. I hope Mr Trump understands that there are so many people out there in our country who do want him to continue helping our country and that Mr Trump has people’s trust and respect. This is such a damaging time in our nation. I am 64 years old and never has seen anything like it until these past short years, the way this country is unraveling. I think and believe this is due to so many progressive changes being made that are so stupid that it is just embarrassing to me as a citizen. The behaviors of people in congress, of the Democratic party and perhaps of the Republican party as well, has gotten so far out of control. How do we swing the pendulum back to being right and just again and also just being patriotic too? These terrible behaviors of the people on “The Hill” are so deplorable and they should be ashamed of themselves, but I know they don’t. They just feel entitled! They have way too much power. These people in congress need to just be in office for a short time. So many of them have been in way too long, so long that their decision making is terrible and not helping our country and its citizens. Again, I know our president has very good intentions and is trying very hard to “right” the wrongs, to expose the “truths”, I only pray that he continues and to have the strength and faith to carry on. I know many people are praying daily for him and his family. There is so much power in prayer and we need more and more people to pray for this country and our president more than ever.
Thank you for fighting for America. May the Lord add more to your number. May He shut the mouth of the enemy and cause them to turn on one another. May the righteousness of the Lord prevail in our government and the destiny God has for Illinois and America be fulfilled. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. May President Trump be keep safe in Gods refuge from the strife tongues until the Lord silences them. And let it be soon Lord. For Your glory and our good. For the good of all the nations. In that name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Help your people, Lord, to rest in you. Help then to release their grip on America and not make her an idol. Cause us to shine your love to those who abuse us, and that abuse the officials we support. I pray for the Bible Study on the Hill, that you would bless this, and the Prayer Meeting. We ask a hedge of protection on all those who call you by name on the Hill, that they would shine your Love as they stand for your Justice and Truth. In Jesus name, Amen
