When we look around America today, we know that we are in a crisis; we’ve reached a tipping point. In the last election, many Christians got out and voted; however, many spiritual leaders across this nation have been saying one thing: “We’re concerned the church has gone back to sleep.” I know some of you have a similar concern in your heart.
The midterm elections are coming up. The Christian turnout for these elections will reveal whether we are truly going to be able to turn the nation and fully establish cords of righteousness, or if we’re going to slide backwards.
I want to encourage you. If you believe that abortion is wrong, if you believe that the blood of more than 60,000,000 aborted babies is crying out from the ground of the United States, and if you knew that turning the tide of a nation was within our grasp, even by one vote – would you vote? Would you pray?
I’m asking you to do both—pray and vote. Pray and act. I’m asking you to join us, as we prayer walk America, as we cry out for the nation. We know that God wants to do extraordinary things through our prayers. If we will pray, God will act.
We have developed this very important website called “Pray in Unity.” Here, you can sign up to adopt your block in prayer. You will also find a daily devotion covering all kinds of topics related to the midterm election. In addition, you can sign up to receive a weekly email containing the prayer devotions for each week.
It’s a 40-day season, beginning September 28 and continuing through Election Day, November 6. You can also visit many of the supporting organizations’ websites that are listed for additional national prayer resources. You will be praying in unity with thousands of different intercessors from across America, connecting with a coalition of prayer leaders that are standing together, and saying, “We are concerned about America.”

Father,
You brought this a nation a miracle with the election of Donald Trump. You have given us a reprieve but we must be willing to do our part. I pray for all believers to recognize Your hand and to humble ourselves so that You, God, can move this nation towards righteousness. I am thankful that you have awakened me and ask that you show me the part I am to take in this battle. Thank you for Your continued blessing on this country. Remove the scales that are keeping Your people from seeing truth. I praise You Father. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
I do need to caution us all to respect every human being, for they are made in the image of God and Jesus died for them and the Heavenly Father sent Jesus to die for them. We need to be very careful and to be transparent to our own sin, for it was the Church who let prayer be taken from the schools, who let Roe vs Wade happen. It has been estimated that 60% of evangelical women now in their 60’s and 70’s have had abortions and had no where to go with their pregnancy because the Church was so blinded to what was happening to their daughters and sons. It is the Church that has failed to be salt and light, this is very important to remember. “Lord, I continue to beseech you for your peace and healing to fall on all the victims of Roe vs Wade that still breath, namely the would be mothers, In Jesus name, Amen”
Father, God I pray in the name of our Lord Jesus, as a nation we must realize and understand the current birth pains that are upon us now. Father, I pray according to your word all things are possible with God. We pray this nation turn back to the Lord diligently seeking him with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our strength. Being obedient at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Following God’s biblical principles, the United States current situations and circumstances would change with consistently praying, speaking the word of God in spirit and in truth believing according to our faith in Jesus Name. Amen!
Father! Help us! We are in dire need. The senators are still discussing the issues with Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination. The rhetoric and the words are flowing – we don’t need them anymore! We need your judgement, quickly Father! Please give all of them discernment, your wisdom, place your hand on this committee, Father! I pray with all of my heart the following scripture, Your Words! Grant not, Adonai, the desires of the wicked. Do not let this evil plan succeed, or they will exalt themselves. Psalm 140:9 Lord, don’t let this be! In Jesus precious Name, amen!
Oh Lord hear our prayers at this time to hold back evil in our nation. Spur believers to pray and vote. May you be pleased with our prayers empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Father God we come before You, as a nation Lord we are we are dying spiritually Father I pray you would wake up your children wake up me convict me every day to pray to for our nation to pray for our president to pray for all the leaders to pray for the unbeliefs even know the libhart’s are so disgusting they are lost and I pray Lord that I will remember that, i love you Jesus… You,are the precious Son of God, let your name you be glorified in this nation and your precious holy name name of Jesus
Heavenly Father, early in the morning of September 24, I woke up from a dream and the sound that was booming in my ears was: the voice of the LORD is calling His children. Lord, I pray that we Your children will hear and answer Your call to be in unity in prayer. We are grateful for Your blessings of life ve and mercy over the United States of America. Thank You for the battles You are fighting for us. We pray that You arise before us, in us, for us and with us to defeat the works of the divisive and satanic spirits at work in so many. Let Your Church rise that will usher in a tsunami wave of revival that will sweep across the nation and throughout the world. Receive all the glory that is due Your name. In the name of Christ Jesus. Amen
Lord God, I would beseech You the Almighty to put a special blessing of Grace on the mission “Pray in Unity”. Bless each and every Child of yours with confidence and boldness as they bless their neighborhoods and their towns and cities, and may it ripple onto their states and out to our country as a whole. Wake your Children up Lord, cause then to hear the Shofar blowing, help them to understand who they are in you and WHO YOU ARE IN THEM and that there is a war on and their strength is needed. In Jesus name, Amen
