Meet You at the Polls - NationwideMeeting Time: Sundays, Oct 11, 18, 25 & Nov 1 at 3:00 PM
We invite you to participate in a series of nation-wide prayer meetings in the month leading up to Election Day, 2020. We believe that...
1) God-fearing people in our nation are called to be leaders in our communities and participants in the political process.
2) The Church should be less concerned with being politically correct, and more concerned with being Biblically correct.
3) The Body of Christ needs to put aside our racial differences and unite on behalf of the Kingdom of God.
4) Our spiritual leaders need to reclaim their God-appointed duty (and exercise their Constitutional right) to speak the FULL measure of God's truth to their congregations.
So what are we asking you to do? Simply this. Spread the word in your church and among your friends to Meet You at the Pole in front of your local city hall, county courthouse or state capitol. We will meet on the four Sunday afternoons preceding the election. If your pastor is willing take the lead on this and make it a church-wide event, then great! If not, you'll just have to organize from the trenches.
During the gathering we'll pray for Christ's church and our country based on 2 Chronicles 7:14:
"If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land."
After the final meeting on the Sunday before the election, the call will change to Meet You at the Polls where we will cast our ballots. (This is not a collective gathering, just a day to exercise our civic responsibility.)
This will accomplish the following things:
It will cause a groundswell of prayer on behalf of our country.
It will serve to help unify and strengthen the Church.
It will encourage our God-fearing politicians.
It will bring people to the polls who would not otherwise vote.
It will show the world that the Body of Christ is alive and well.
It could very well lead to awakening and spiritual revival!
Will you and your congregation participate in this Meet You at the Polls rally? Though it would be proper for our pastors and priests to lead us in this movement, many will not. Do not let that discourage you from becoming involved. As American citizens, each of us will one day give an account of how we impacted our society for the kingdom of God. And as members of HIS kingdom, we are not only citizens but a royal priesthood! We have the authority – and the obligation – to act, even if our spiritual leaders will not.
Please join us as we take this message from Pole to Polls!
