Daniel 2: 20-21(NAS )"Daniel said, 'Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.' " May you be strengthened daily by God's joy. May you experience His Sabbath rest as needed, and may you hear His voice clearly as He gives you the wisdom needed to serve your constituents, in Jesus' name, amen. Nehemiah 8: 10

Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and prayer of Gary G, "I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going" and the people involved in the downward direction. I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Gregory Meeks to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Open his heart, his mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies, evil influences and the anti-Constitutional ideologies of his political party. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit that there may be awakening, cleansing and healing.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, please give all of our people in authority, legislators at all levels, wisdom and power over the enemy, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Lord, I pray for Gregory Meeks to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first in the important decisions that he makes for this Country. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
