Taking Intercession to the Courts of Heaven
A different prayer strategy for the coming year
Throughout this election year, people have become much more familiar with our governmental system --- how laws were created and how they work. We have come to realize how critical it is for these systems to work on our behalf as citizens. In like manner, there is also a government of God which transcends any earthly government. Isaiah offers a prophetic picture of government stability when God's pattern is established.
"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6 ESV)
Effective intercession can only happen when we understand how God's government operates. Much of our spiritual warfare with the adversary concerns legal transactions in the spirit.
Throughout Scripture, intercession is brought before God as our Judge (Isaiah 33:22), Jesus as our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), and the Holy Spirit as our Counselor (1 John 2:1). These transactions in the spirit serve to nullify and void the accuser of the brethren by our repenting of any agreement we may have had with him and recognizing Jesus as our witness. His blood, through the finished work on the cross, validates the believer's righteous position as cleared of all charges and releases the Judge to deal with our enemy (Hebrews 12:24).
Robert Henderson teaches on the protocol of this intercession in his books, Operating in the Courts of Heaven and Unlocking Destinies from the Courts of Heaven. You can also find many of his teachings online on YouTube (a 5-session series). I personally worked through some issues using his recommended protocol this past month and saw tremendous results. Not only was I strengthened in my spiritual authority and identity in Christ, but I was reminded of many powerful principles regarding generational iniquities and the power of His blood. Henderson also offered 12 ways in which the enemy tries to build cases against us (see the third session of the teaching series)
He states there are three different functions in prayer: Our anointing, which is a gift freely given (1 John 2:27); our spiritual authority, which increases in proportion to our alignment with God and others (Matthew 18:18-20); and ourseat of reigning (Ephesians 1:20-21). This seat comes as a result of our overcoming (Revelation 3:21), and there is usually a battle to sit in it!
As we prepare to enter a time of strategic governmental shifts, I encourage you to consider the spiritual battles ahead and rightly discern the appropriate strategies. There is a protocol of heaven, and I pray that we can personally and corporately mature in this kind of intercession in order to occupy the territory that is now before us.

Prayers to Stop a War
Excerpt from "Obeying God's Voice at a Critical Moment" in December's issue of The Connecter.
*Cindi (name changed) was in Galilee at the time. As she sat in her hotel room one night, she turned on the news and heard the report of rumors circulating about a possible "third world war." As she watched, she sensed the Lord saying to her, "I don't want a third world war! This is not My agenda. It's the enemy's agenda."
Then she heard the Lord speak to her in her spirit: "I want you to stop the third world war." Cindi was a little bit shocked. "I never thought on the level of stopping a third world war," she says. She pondered the request and asked the Lord how this could even happen. She had never considered that her prayers could be used to influence such a major event.
Yet her faith in God was greater than any personal doubts. As she waited for a response, still wondering what she could possibly do to answer the Lord's request, she decided to simply act on faith. She stood up in her room and made a simple declaration, "Devil, there will not be a third world war ... in Jesus' name." That was it. She said the wording wasn't anything fancy. She simply agreed with what the Lord had told her-that there would be no war. She felt a peace in her spirit that she had been obedient to His directive.
Then she called a good friend who regularly puts out prayer alerts to intercessors around the world. She shared what the Lord told her and asked if he would get the word out to other intercessors to join in this simple declaration of faith. She suggested some Scripture promises to pray in order to come into agreement with the Lord's plans for peace. The alert went out-and within 72 hours the entire thing dissipated. Tensions eased and the rumors stopped. There was no war. Peace reigned again for a time."

Lance Wallnau Inspires Intercessors with "7M" Message

Lance Wallnau is a Christian minister, prophetic teacher, and popular conference speaker. His teachings on the "Seven Mountains" of influence have impacted countless entrepreneurs and marketplace leaders over the last two decades.
He received a word from the Lord last year that Donald Trump was to be "...a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness." Even before the primaries began, he reached out to intercessors, firmly holding to the belief that Trump was God's chosen "Cyrus" based on the Scripture the Lord gave him from Isaiah 45. He rallied thousands to the cause up to election through his Facebook posts and Periscope broadcasts.
Now he is launching the "7M Underground" movement for those desiring to be a part of the coming transformation in the nation. In addition to his current 7M Underground Facebook page and Lance Wallnau ministry, this new "underground" site offers coming resources and teachings to equip and empower believers to occupy the territory in these seven mountains of culture: Family, Religion/Faith, Education, Government/Law, Media/News & Commentary, Arts/Entertainment, and Business/Economics.
Find out more about this movement by going to or follow him on Facebook at "7M Underground".

Where Do We Go For the News?

Many became highly disillusioned by the mainstream news media during the course of the recent election. With increased bias and "fake news" sites, intercessors are challenged in finding news outlets that are trustworthy, reliable, and supportive of conservative values.
One group of intercessors recently combined their suggestions and made a list of recommended sources. Though these resources are not officially endorsed by anyone (or IFA), the PDF link attached may provide some suggestions when considering possible news sources in the future.
"When people draw favor from the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them." (Proverbs 16:7 CEB)

"Compare the calm in Tulsa this past September after an officer shot an unarmed black man with the rioting that took place in Charlotte. The fact that the Tulsa police released the videos right away had an impact. But what stood out to me in Tulsa was the police department's strong engagement with church and community leaders. It looked to me like a lot of work had been done in that city to build relationships with black leaders, and I think that helped quell the reaction."
A comment by police officer, Sue Rahr, in December's Reader's Digest article, "35 Things Police Officers Want To Tell You."
Pastors Take a Stand and Reap a Harvest

This summer, a group of 102 pastors in Richland County, Ohio came together in defense of the Biblical definition of gender. They sent correspondence to school officials and the State Board of Education advising them to disobey the federal government restroom mandate. The attached report is absolutely amazing in how God honored their initiative.
They sent their letter on August 2, 2016, and within that same month they saw God bless their community in specific and measurable ways: No childhood mortalities, no motorist fatalities, halting of LGBT initiatives, favor and national media exposure to their cause, abundant rain in the midst of drought, unexpected harvest, and increase of county-wide milk production.
