Attorney General William Barr has assembled a team to review controversial counterintelligence decisions made by Justice Department and FBI officials, including actions taken during the probe of the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016, according to a person familiar with the matter.

This indicates that Barr is looking into allegations that Republican lawmakers have been pursuing for more than a year — that the investigation into President Donald Trump and possible collusion with Russia was tainted at the start by anti-Trump bias in the FBI and Justice Department. . . .
Barr’s inquiry is separate from a long-running investigation by the Justice Department’s inspector general, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing sensitive matters. The FBI declined to comment. Barr said he expected the inspector general’s work to be completed by May or June. . . .
Republican Representative Robert Aderholt of Alabama asked Barr during Tuesday’s hearing if the Justice Department is investigating “how it came to be that your agency used a salacious and unverified dossier as a predicate for FISA order on a U.S. citizen?”
Aderholt was referring to the “Steele Dossier” that had been put together as opposition research against Trump, including with funding from Democrats.
Congressional Republicans — and the president — have alleged that officials improperly relied on that dossier to obtain a secret warrant to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. They say that was the start of the probe that Trump calls a “witch hunt” and that Mueller took over after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

Thank you Lord for AG Barr. We ask that your Justice would flow down to us in America and that all treasonous acts under the Obama administration would be prosecuted. May the FBI, DOJ, and CIA all be cleared of Deep State operative that have politicized these agencies. May all “bad cops” be held accountable for their actions against this President and the American People. Praise you Lord.
Father God. I thank you for hearing the prayers of your children as we have asked for an investigation into the anti-Trump bias that has been going on in our country since before Donald Trump’s election and afterward. I thank you for William Barr and his willingness to assemble a team to aid in this situation. We ask you Dear Father for Your Divine protection on Mr. Barr and his team as they probe into these documents and testimonies as we know this will arouse the enemy forces that are against our President. We pray for wisdom for them as they investigate and uncover that which has been hidden for too long. We know that you are a God of justice and mercy and we ask that justice will be served in this whole situation. That the all the lies and cover-up will be exposed and dealt with in a judicious manner. We thank you Lord for hearing our prayer, for forgiving our sins as a nation, and watching You work in our great nation. We love You Lord and are so thankful to be called by Your Name. In Jesus’ beautiful Name we pray.

Father, we thank You that You inspired our nation’s Founders to focus on a pillar of justice. We call forth national leadership that is holy, righteous, wise and just within the confines of mercy and integrity. Raise up those who are courageous, bold and uncompromising in their stands for GODly standards, precepts and principles. We call forth vigilance on the part of Your Body which chooses listening to and obeying Your voice over selfishness, self-interest and self-aggrandizement. We choose and commit to sitting at rest (not fear nor anxiety) in the quiet of our personal secret places in order to know You, submit to Your transforming nature and operate in Your overwhelming, over-coming power and authority. As Mr. Barr and his associates (whom YOU direct him to appoint) analyze the material YOU direct to them, may they each be these kind of people so that Your justice prevails and our nation is stabilized and strengthened by YOU, the ONE and only TRUE GOD, which we as a nation proclaim to trust. Our eyes and ears are on and our confidence is in Your faithfulness and Your TRUTH. Because You are GOD, in our allegiance and in our surrender to Your majesty and Greatness, we assemble in one heart, one mind and one Spirit to reveal Your supremacy, Your grandeur = Your GLORY! We LOVE You and are grateful that You never change and it is YOU Who reigns forever. Father, be BLESSED as You manifest the fulfillment of Your plan through Your body. We pray in the Holy Name of the Head of the body YOUR SON, our Savior JESUS, the Anointed. Amen
