WHY PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL BE RE-ELECTED

Lord God, we pray for President Trump. We pray that he would grow in knowing You and that You would direct his schedule and his decisions, that his policies and plans will honor You.

Donald Trump’s presidency has been so widely derided in the national media that a casual observer might easily conclude his prospects for reelection are dim. However, that is not what the odds makers are saying. They give Trump a solid edge over any Democratic candidate in 2020.

The odds makers are right. Trump will probably be reelected if he chooses to run. What follows is an explanation of why the odds favor Trump, and what eight years of his leadership would mean for global security. Let’s start with the factors favoring a second term.

Pray in agreement with thousands of other intercessors for President Trump. Commit to pray for 7 days with a prayer emailed to you daily.

First of all, candidates who get elected to the presidency once tend to get reelected if they run. . . .

Second, Trump has presided over the strongest economy in living memory.  . . .

Third, the nation is at peace. Trump has avoided involvement in new overseas adventures, and is pressing to scale back what is left of the operations he inherited from his predecessor. . . .

Fourth, Democrats are busy reminding voters in the middle of the political spectrum why they voted for Trump in 2016. Ever since the Democrats drifted away from their blue-collar base in the 1970s, winning the party’s presidential nomination has required appeals to the Left.  . . .

Fifth, polls showing weak approval of the president’s performance have lulled Democrats into thinking his defeat is nearly inevitable in 2020. But Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan were both unpopular during their first terms, and then went on to score landslide victories against opponents who made the incumbent look good. . . .

Sixth, people have gotten used to Trump. He doesn’t seem as outrageous as he once did. His critics will fret that this amounts to “normalizing deviance,” but what it really shows is that two years in the nation’s top job have taken the edge off of Trump’s confrontational personality. . . .  (Excerpt from Forbes Magazine, commentary by Loren Thompson)

What do you think? Is it likely Pres. Trump will be re-elected? Will his tweets be his downfall? Leave a comment.

  1. I believe the hand of the Lord is on pres.Trump because faithful Christians have commited to intercede for him. I believe God can turn his heart like a river that takes a bend and another bend meaning God is able to direct his heart where he plans. I still believe The President needs like all christians to allow God to get a stronger foothold in his heart just like the rest of believers to daily surrender

  2. Personally as a born again Christian pastor, I find arrogance and cursing
not acceptable. But…I love his conservative views and turning our country away
from communist/socialism of the left. So, percentile in favor above 85%.
He will get my vote in 2020 if still on earth. age 89.
Just think of communist dictators that have controlled their countries and
note how far back their are with not owning their properties once held.

  3. Amen. I have always felt the Hand of God on our President Trump and I do believe He has more great works in him to do in 2020. Pray reverently for him and the administration daily and ask for exposure of our enemies that we may hold them accountable all for the Glory of God.
Thank you Father for hearing our cries and answering our prayers, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen

  4. Praise God! The Holy Spirit shall guide, lead, and teach the child of God that is true to His Word and deed. Our nation should reflect on these words and give them time to keep your perspective in line with God’s will. Our Father has much, to say about that little member, the tongue. Give the devil no opportunity by getting into worry, strife, and criticism. Put a stop to idle and foolish talking. We are to be a nation blessing to others.
    In Jesus Name. Amen.

    1. Amen. Our lesson at church tonight was on the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our whole community of 250,000 has illegals making up 1/4 of that number. Another young cop was killed last week by an illegal alien after the illegal stole several guns and a car. The police officer left behind a grieving wife and two young children. Holy Spirit, speak to members of the Senate and Congress and impress on them the need to build a wall to keep us safe. The people in Hollywood who speak out against the wall have armed bodyguards. Political members all live in gated communities and keep their doors locked at night. It is common citizens, like this young cop’s family, who suffer because of illegal aliens. Jesus, please open the eyes of those in politics who are against building the wall. Please don’t let anymore innocent lives be taken because of illegals.

      1. Good point; however, God can and does use whom he chooses. I think he is using Trump to awaken some parts of America and he is using him to set protections for our religious and constitutional freedoms, even in small parts. Whatever else he is or believes, He believes God does and can BLESS America and he is bold to remind America that God is over all, in his brash and frank manner.

  5. Prayer is essential in every circumstance.
When Jesus taught his disciples to pray– He said after this manner pray ye: “Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done…
I’m so glad that God is never confused, by the prayers of his children. We don’t always know the mind of God concerning matters of this life. The all-knowing, Sovereign God, works all things for his Glory.
Father, I pray, Let your will be done. Amen

    1. I do not believe his tweets r his downfall at all, this is the only thing left that the Democrats can attack and it is the only source of true news, I hear it from the horses mouth. I get his tweets and I am not offended by them. The left wants to silence him and they will not . No weapon formed against him shall prosper!! He will win because everything he is doing is awesome because the church is praying! Every crazy thing the left is doing will cause him to win!

  6. Oh, Lord, we pray for wisdom for our president. When he sits down to write his controversial tweets, give him the humility to consult with you and men like the vice-president. We pray that he will submit his life and his tongue to you. That he will speak with your authority, not his own reactions to situations he faces and our country faces. Teach him Your ways, Holy Spirit of God, we pray in Jesus Name!

    1. Good point; however, God can and does use whom he chooses. 7. Father God we lift up our President in your name for your will to be performed in the presence of our enemies. We pray for and stand in the gap for the protection of him and his family. Continue to shine your light in the darkest corners of our country and remove the scabs of DECEPTION from the eyes of your prodigals that they will return with strength in numbers too large to count. Bring revival on the heels of the exposure of the enemy. We cry, “Satan, remove your hands from the throats of your followers. You cannot have them. For they will return to the truth of their Father who loves them.!” Guide them Lord back into the safety of your heart and heal them in the name of your son, Jesus Christ.

  8. LOVE President Trump’s tweets. We don’t care for his language but prefer that finally someone speaks out to tell the truth exactly like it is. President Trump lives in reality. Evangelicals & conservatives have surrendered to the far-left without going on the offense in the Name of Christ. Believers have accepted false guilt & allowed themselves to be bullied by those who reject Jesus Christ. If more believers were willing to die for the cause of our Savior then our nation would not have deteriorated over the past 160 years.

Why is it that evangelicals are willing to surrender & vote for evil Democratic candidates over Godly men who live by the Word of God? Is it because they prioritize their bank accounts over Biblical principles? Jesus did not die for our checkbooks or healthcare; instead He died so that we may have life. First & foremost, life is the most important Biblical principle all evangelicals must place as priority over all other issues. Any candidate who promotes anti-life (abortion, euthanasia, etc) policies is not to be trusted as he does not value life. A culture is defined by how it treats the most vulnerable amongst us & when a candidate discards human life, then they live with a warped worldview. Warped because lack of value for human life will naturally seep over into other areas of his personal & professional life.

We pray for President Trump’s spiritual growth among all else & pray that God reveals his plan for marriage between one man & one woman. God bless the Biblical intentions of President Trump’s heart.

    1. Amen. And any support for policies which are against God and the Bible brings more divine judgement against America. Let us pray continually that God will turn the hearts of the kings (those in authority in America AND around the world) to do His Will. This includes ungodly officials who hate Him and His Word. We must also pray that God’s people will repent so that prayers will be lifted up by righteous men. This means fasting and praying and obeying God without compromise, trusting in His grace and strength, and giving His Son glory in all things.

  9. Definitely, Trump will win a second term, and in style! The first time, they said he cannot be president, but they were wrong, he won, and much to their chagrin, they blamed it on Russia!! Who are they going to blame in 2020? However, I exhort all believers who have discernment, to continue to pray for him as they did in 2016!

  10. Heavenly Father, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your blessings! Thank you for your intercession and for President Trump. Though he is not perfect – as none of us are – he has helped the U.S. to get back on the right track. He is AGAINST abortion! (Thank You, Father.) I pray that if it be Your will that President Trump will get re-election in 2020, and that he will lead the U.S. on the path that YOU will have us to go.

    Amen.

    1. Amen!!!! I agree wholeheartedly with this prayer. The ladies in my prayer group pray each day and when we get together for Trump and his family Our God placed him in the office at the right time. I too believe he will be re-elected. I also pray for his complete trust in The Lord, and that he seeks counsel from Him and obey.

  11. We will still pray that He has full assurance of salvation in Christ and evidences it much more in the years ahead. Through him, God has bringing us back closer to Judeo-Christian ideals and morality, plus the prosperity that helps millions to have a better life. We once again have more religious freedom, and more is on the way, we pray. With prayer, God can help him and Congress find ways to have more peace in our nation and our world.

  12. Father God, We lift President Trump up to you today and thank you that you have put the Cyrus of our day in the Oval Office. Your word does not return to you void. Strengthen His focus and boldness on you, Lord. I ask you to lift up the silent majority who will not allow the noisy minority to determine the direction of this country. May the voting booths ring out Your name…In Jesus Name…AMEN!

  13. Father God, You are The Lord God Almighty. You are the One who raises up kings and kingdoms, and who removes them. Let Your will be done, Lord. We pray for our President, that Your hand of guidance and wisdom would be on him, that You would make Yourself known to him, and that he would seek Your face. Thank You for all you have done, for You have clearly been working in our country to draw us back to You. Continue to work in OUR hearts, as well, to desire what You desire, and to yield to You. May those who are believers in Jesus Christ stand strong on Your Word, be informed, be active in prayer for our nation and VOTE in the next election. Stay Satan’s hand, and his use of deception against us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  14. Dear Lord God Almighty thank You for everything. Lord if it is Your will may President Trump be reelected. You know who is best and what is best for our country Lord. I pray that the best will happen for this country. Lord come to us and may we come to You. Blessed is the nation who has God as their Lord. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  15. Lord, please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm pitted against President Donald Trump. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground, in Jesus name, Amen.

  16. President Trump is sure to be re-elected for God has chosen him. Trump is and has been fighting a culture war for our nation since day one in the Oval Office. And he’s fighting it with tools God has given him. It is our job to storm the gates of Heaven with a war cry on behalf of America to support our president. We who serve God are not to critique the president, but join with him ( to be on the same team with him) and be a source of comfort, encouragement and strength for him by praying and bending God’s ear towards America, a nation founded by God Almighty. We are to praise God’s holy name and advance God’s Kingdom, as we join in with God’s plan for America. Pray………..and stop complaining and criticizing….it’s the worship language of hell!!! Inside of every child of God, there is a sanctuary, a place for God to come to. “What do you imagine must that dwelling be in which a King, so mighty, so wise, so pure, containing in Himself all good, can delight and rest?”……Teresa of Avila 1577

    1. Amen to this prayer by Betty McKinley!!! God’s will be done in our temples, God’s sanctuary, to praise God from Whom all blessings flow and to thank Him for disarming all principalities and powers on the cross! Forgive them for they know not what they are doing!!! Jesus is Lord, Maker of heaven and earth and every knee will bow and confess Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of our Heavenly Father!

  17. The will of the Lord be done, is my prayer.
Our president surely needs our prayer. The Bible encourages us to pray for those in authority.
Let’s pray, that God gives them the wisdom to do what must be done–His will.
We may not always understand why situations occur the way they do, but we can trust God, in all things.
As Christians, we cannot get involved in the politics of our government, but by prayer and supplication knowing that nothing is impossible with God.
Politics says, Build a wall to keep out immigrants, Jesus said, I was a stranger and you took me in. Matthew 25:35.
How then should the Christians pray? Whose side do we take?
Paul writes in Galatians 1:10. “For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
“Thy Will Be Done, O Lord.”

    1. As Christians, we cannot get involved in the politics of our government???????

I pray that you vote!!! If you do you are involved. If you don’t, shame on you.

Maybe, our problem is the definition of “not getting involved in politics.”

Praying for a change of heart.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was involved in politics through his non-violent activism.

Jesus was involved in the politics of his day or else he would not have been crucified.

      1. NOT INVOLVED???? If Christians DON’T get involved, then that leaves who??? Are we to leave the decisions of our government that affect our families and the next generations to non-believers?
Our faith is in God alone, and not in government, so I understand if that is what was meant, and to be sure, government is not our answer. However, it was the involvement, to the risking of their very lives, that the Christian Founders got involved. We must be all be involved in politics on some level (vote, contact legislators, pray, support godly candidates, even run for office), to the extent led by God. We MUST be involved for all that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

        1. Absolutely we must be involved in politics!! We are to be involved in all aspects of life – otherwise we hand it all over to those who follow the devil, even unknowingly.

        2. Sister Mary… Christians get in involved by praying…2 Chronicles 7:14 says ” If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

          1. ABSOLUTELY! I agree with you, brother Maurice…above all, PRAY. Prayer is our FIRST action, in humility, repentance, seeking God’s will. We cannot however totally abdicate positions of policy making, leaving it completely in the hands of those opposed to God’s authority. You are obviously called to be a prayer warrior and our country needs you and those like you…and I join you in prayer, first and foremost…. i do believe Christians can certainly add to those prayer active involement, as the Lord leads. Would that all local, state and federal offices were held by believers! God bless you, brother Maurice.

      2. Thank you! The problem has been uninvlovement. Thus prayer taken out of schools and abortion. For evil to be overcome, we must be involved. May God continue to bless and protect our President Trump. I pray that he will be re-elected come 2020.

    2. To all who commented on my initial post. I ask this question, What is the Christian response to Matthew 25:35?
Politicians say, build a wall to keep out the “illiterate and unhealthy” immigrants.
Jesus said, I was a stranger and you took me in.
Should we as Christians, join with the politicians or do we follow Jesus?
The poor and needy are knocking at our doors, do we open up and let them in, or do we build a wall to keep then out?
Jesus said, In as much as you’ve done it to the least of these ye have done it unto me.
My friends, please read the text and “Hear what the spirit is saying to the Church.”

      1. Hi Maurice,

Jerusalem had a wall and it was ok with God, remember though there were gates. God informed Moses of boundaries for the tribes of Israel, remember though they were allowed to pass through.

In the Gospel, although Jesus instructs us to not hinder anyone in coming to him, I don’t think building a boundary is against Christ’s teaching. The New Heaven also has gates 🙂 and Jesus calls Himself a door, so there is a concept of acceptance of lines of demarcation.

A the wall is also intended to discourage other behavior that is not “Christ like” such as human trafficking and all that comes with it. It’s not “don’t come here”, it’s “enter the way that legal and legit”.

        1. Amen to that…..encourage people to study Old testament too which is not yet “removed from Yahweh’s teachings as the Second Coming will definitely be as Lord of Hosts .We ought to help the poor and look to serve the down trodden by being a strong country and not be destroying our own people through drugs ,genocide and alien cultural diversity, and displacing the culture to accommodate with those who do not assimilate to judeo Christian values or Anglo Saxon Christian majority.

    3. Perhaps we should do as the Pope does (according to scripture) and build a wall around entire cities? Or, if Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi want to take in all the strangers, then those two ladies need to begin at home- from their overpriced homes in their gated communities they can be good examples of Christianity and start taking in the people coming across the border. Or, maybe we should all sleep tonight with our doors unlocked and our windows wide open so we can take in whoever wants to come in?

    4. 11 million illegally crossing is not what Jesus meant ,Why not develop those countries and pray for those countries where there is persecution as evil people may take over or can take over those empty villages. When we study Old testament ,it speaks about order ,justice and encouragement to root out evil and lawlessness .How do you know that people who can scale tall walls and fences who are lawless can enter homes boldly ?

  18. Matthew 13:57 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
57 And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his [a]hometown and in his own household.”
Acts 11:27-28 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
27 Now [a]at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them named Agabus stood up and began to indicate [b]by the Spirit that there would certainly be a great famine all over the [c]world. [d]And this took place in the reign of Claudius.

Prophet Kim Clement stated Donald Trump would become POTUS with 2 terms-see Youtube videos of this.

  19. He will be reelected so His Cup will be full. My Prayer is in Romans 9:17. The scripture cannot be broken, let all men be liar The Almighty God will remain truthful.
No one can change the order of God, as he defend the Israelite without no human effort, so is the same today. Every eye shall see it and every man shall talk about it. In Jesus Name.

  20. Father I praise you for honoring our prayers and placing President Trump in office during this time in our history. It is your sovereign plan that he is in the office of the President to fulfill the purpose you have for this nation. Lord I pray that he will continue to seek you and fulfill your will for this nation. I also pray for your protection over him and his family. Proverbs 29:2 reads, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.” Father it is you who cause people to become righteous. The actions that our President are taking are righteous actions and they are for the good of our country. I pray this in Jesus name.

  21. We are at a turning point in this country. The left is trying to destroy all of the things that represent what my father fought for in WW II and the fore fathers shed their blood to defend. This President has the courage to stand up against the bullies that are working desperately to dismantle history, personal freedom & most importantly the Constitution. God has given us a leader with the strength to endure. Thank God for President Trump- He has shed the light on the corruption and because of him, we are seeing just how bad it really is. I will continue to pray that he and his precious family can stay strong. The proficiency said that he would win 2 terms and I am standing on it!

  22. I thank you Lord that You have chosen President Trump for a time such as this. Your ways are not man’s ways but they are the best ways. I thank You that You found a man that can handle the severe attacks on him & his family & calls it out when it happens. Please bring supporters who will back him in unjust attacks so he doesn’t have to do it himself. I pray The People will stand in unity without fear to support him also as he follows Your will. I trust your choice for our current President & Your choice for the next term as well. Help him accomplish every purpose You have for him to do. In Jesus name. So be it Amen

  23. President Trump is covered in prayer. We will continue to pray for him and he is hearing and obeying Father concerning Israel, the Unborn, religious liberties and a plethora of things that should make every Believer who loves God vote for him. We must pray against voter fraud and the deception of those who watch Fake News!

    1. Father, Hear the prayers of all who are praying for Your will to be done in the USA. I thank You just as Lind Vega has thanked You for all the good and righteous stands Pres Trump has taken to protect our freedom of religion Thank You for his stand against abortion. Give Pres Trump, the Cabinet Members, and all who counsel Pres Trump wisdom, creative ideas, and knowledge of Your will to make the best decisions in how to run this country and how to handle the immigration problems.
Thwart the plans satan has to destroy this nation. I ask for divine protection for Pres. Trump, his family, VP Pence, his family, and all who are in authority doing Your will. Let the TRUTH be made known throughout this land and expose the evil plans that are trying to destroy this nation.
Thank You, Father, for all You are doing and have done. May You be lifted up throughout the USA and all men and women be drawn unto You. Let Your Light shine in the darkness and expose all the lies in the “fake news” and where ever the lies try to rule. In Jesus precious name I pray. Amen

  24. If God’s people will need 2nd Chronicles 7:14 and fast and pray for our country and POTUS,I believe God will honor our prayers and give us Trump for four more years.

    1. Trump will be Re elected in 2020 because sooo many Christians are praying for him & he is God’s man!! I believe his win was due to divine intervention in 2016 & I believe God will push him over the top again in 2020. Law officials need to be on top of illegal immigrants voting for a Dem. & the voting roles must be cleaned up in every polling place. Pres. Trump must require citizens to have picture I D’s to show when they vote. Illegal aliens driver’s licenses should not be allowed!!! American citizens ONLY CAN VOTE & this must be very lawfully done @ every polling place!!! Policemen should be @ every polling place, even if volunteer police forces must be trained to assist on voting day!! We must have honest & legal voting!!!!!

      1. I agree with everything you have said Georgia but I have one small problem with the ID. As a ‘new’ citizen I would not like to carry my citizenship papers with me, therefore, it would require some way of issuing ID cards at the time of citizenship. As for now I use my drivers license
