I Prayed have prayed
Father God, we pray that President Trump will rely on you and that your wisdom and vision for our nation would be miraculously shared tonight.

Standing before lawmakers in the grand-domed Capitol where his impeachment trial is still underway, President Donald Trump on Tuesday night will declare the state of the union strong, even when it is bitterly divided as he asks Americans for a second term.

After becoming just the third president in U.S. history to be impeached, Trump will try to move forward, aides say, offering an optimistic message that stresses economic growth in his annual address before Congress.

But the impeachment drama will hang over him as he stands before the very lawmakers who have voted to remove him from office — and those who are expected to acquit him Wednesday when the Senate trial comes to a close. Any attempt to try to be a messenger for unity will surely be dismissed at a time of palpable anger and rancor, much of which he has helped generate on both sides of the divide.

Senior administration officials were tight-lipped about the extent to which Trump would mention his impeachment, which he has denounced as a “witch hunt” orchestrated by Democrats to try to undo the results of the 2016 election and harm his reelection chances this November. They stressed this his prime-time speech was still a work in progress.

But they said Trump sees the speech as an opportunity to talk about moving the country ahead, contrast his vision with Democrats’ and try to make the case to voters that he deserves four more years in the White House.

“This has been a very partisan process and this is an opportunity for him to unify the country around opportunities for all Americans,” said White House spokeswoman Jessica Ditto.

Trump will spend much of the speech highlighting the economy’s strength, including the low employment rate, stressing how it has helped blue-collar workers and the middle class. A focus will be the new trade agreements he has negotiated, including his phase-one deal with China and the United States-Mexico-Canada agreement he signed last week.

Lord, after watching the State of the Union last night, I pray for unity among the people of this land , that Christians will pray, vote and influence this dysfunctional leadership that mocks and jeers at our nation and the people of this nation. We should be thanking you LORD for your blessings and praying for your protection and for the liberty and freedom we all enjoy, regardless of party of political persuasion. I pray that the childish behavior that was on display last night will be seen for what it is, a lack of appreciation for your blessing and provision on all people in this country. Your word tells us that your send rain on both the just and the unjust. Help us LORD to be thankful for your blessings and for the freedom and liberty we enjoy, but too often take for granted as citizens of this country. Help all citizens realize that our liberty and freedoms are not guaranteed by you , nor is our prosperity and wealth. These can all vanish in a moment. How thankful I am that you do not give us what we deserve but have poured out your blessings on this great nation, calling us to your self, even while many mock you and your people and refuse to acknowledge you as LORD.

Lord thank you for Your mercy and Grace on our Nation. I lift up President Trump before You to pray for a humble Spirit in him giving You the Glory for all that is being accomplished in our Nation. I pray he will depend on You to speak truth, to use his voice to encourage our people to become United for restoration and healing for our Nation. Lord open the hearts, ears and eyes to hear Your heart , Your truth through this President. Lord may it be about saving our babies, protecting women from abortion mishaps and psychological long term affects of it. For job opportunities to provide for families, self and be generous givers to the poor and hurting. Lord I ask You to dismiss this Impeachment process and for a fair, honest election to be for the people and from the people voicing their hearts through voting. Lord help the President bring Glory to You, speak about those things You have laid on his heart and be seasoned with self control and steadfastness. In Jesus name. Amen

I am praying for God to give President Trump wisdom and favor as he expresses his desire to move our Nation forward with God fearing agenda to help all the people of America regardless of race, color or creed. We need truth, justice and mercy to be our platform for unity with a strong moral outcry to change the direction of our nation. Lord open the eyes of all American’s hearts to truth and help us unite as one under your guidance in Jesus name I pray. Thank you ABBA Father! Amen!

Lord,
Give President Trump and his advisors wisdom and grace to be agents of healing and unity in our nation. Thank You for the resilience You have granted our President in the face of such much hatred and opposition. Help him to resist the temptation to retaliate and seek his own revenge. Let Your anointing rest on him tonight as he speaks and let his words be heard and received without cynicism.
We need Your blessing on America and rely heavily on Your mercy. Please forgive us for violating Your law and be merciful to us.
May we as a people glorify Your Name.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
