I Prayed have prayed
Holy Father, we pray the words of Jesus: "protect (us) by the power of your name, the name you gave (Jesus), so that (we) may be one as (you and Jesus) are one."
Reading Time: < 1 minute

When we see division sown in the Church in our nation (or in the world), we need to come in the opposite spirit and pray for unity. Watch this short video to understand what true Christian unity is and then pray fervently for it, as Jesus did for us (John 17).

Christian unity must be unity in the Holy Spirit. Babel showed how bad unity can be outside the will of God. Too often, I’ve experienced call for unity as calls for agreement, often with something that is not Scriptural (as in agreeing with satan, the adversary, as part of prayer.)

I’ve seen great unity in Him where people had strong disagreement on many things including how to interpret a passage of scripture, but the love and acceptance were there. I agree with you speaker on that.

How beautiful it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It only comes when each persons’ total motivatio, underlying agwnda and source is the boundless love of the Father. Religion without love that permeates all we do, say and think is bondage and legalism.

Christian Unity is to love the same God no matter how we do it! As said in Eph 4:5,6 also shown by the diversity in unity making a symphony! And diversity without Unity as a weapon to destroy opponents with noise
