If you’re confused by the controversy surrounding Huawei, it appears that UK mobile carriers are in the same boat.
The government’s inability to decide whether Huawei technology will be used in the UK’s 5G networks is affecting mobile companies’ business, they wrote to abinet Secretary Mark Sedwill, the BBC reports.
The government’s response? Calm down. “The Telecoms Supply Chain Review will be announced in due course. We have been clear throughout the process that all network operators will need to comply with the government’s decision,” a spokesperson tells the BBC.
But with three of the UK’s four major mobile networks across the UK rolling out 5G services, it is vital for those companies to know how to proceed. Currently, most have focused on either a small handful of cities, primarily London, and an outright ban on Huawei could cost hundreds of millions of pounds.
The UK government reportedly said it won’t allow Huawei to be used in core 5G equipment but the lack of an outright ban has been met with mixed reaction in the UK. (Excerpted from PC Magazine article by Adam Smith)

Huawai uses it’s network for espionage. to use it in our Government or Military is suicidal. This is true in other Governments also.
Banning it altogether should happen, for it is a spy network. Lord, we pray that this technology stays out of our Government and those of our allies. We pray for great wisdom on the Hill to expunge this Chinese threat from our country in a way that affects our economy the least. Praise you Lord. May the President get the support he needs to protect us. In Jesus name, Amen
