Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that says, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

Finally, a member of Congress admitted that the deep state, the Democratic Party, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the media were attempting a coup against a duly elected President. Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) Friday told Breitbart Daily News, “This came very close to being the first successful coup since our Constitution went into effect in 1789. We are not having it, and we’re going to put people in jail that were part of this. That’s got to happen.”This is a public admission by an elected official that our government was in danger of being overthrown. Unlike military coups, this continues to be a coup attempt pitting political will against legal principles to undermine the will of the people. Here’s why this is dangerous.

Gohmert told Breitbart News, “It’s time for Republicans to say, ‘Enough already. You have put this country through hell. You have let these ridiculous allegations that we now see are totally bogus get you the majority in the House.’ But if the American people will wake up, and I hope that they will, I think that they are, it seems like things are indicating that, then it’s time for anybody with an R or D beside their names that’s going to preserve the Constitution–make no mistake, we are in a constitutional crisis–to stand up and say, ‘Enough already.'” Democratic Party leaders also are saying that America is in a Constitutional crisis, but few are pointing out that the Democratic leadership and the news media created the crisis.

The Daily Jot has been one of the few news outlets reporting that the nefarious machinations of these powerful political forces have been attempting a coup. All the while they were sending the narrative that President Donald Trump would not accept the results of the election if he lost, but they are the ones who will not accept the election results. They used a secret court to get legal ground to spy on Trump’s campaign and transition team in an effort to undermine his presidency, obstruct the workings of government, and to remove Trump from office. My personal opinion, however, is that no one high up will ever go to jail over this because sedition laws require “force” to be used against the government. The intent here has been cunningly obscured.

Many Christians write me saying that as Christians, our attention is to be focused on a higher kingdom. They claim government and affairs of America should be of no interest to Christians. I couldn’t disagree more. Our Constitution guarantees religious freedom and free speech. This has resulted in America being a beacon of Christ in spreading the gospel both in America and around the world. We are blessed beyond imagination because of religious freedom. To say that the affairs of government are of no interest to Christians is an ignorant position. Romans 12:21 says, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Moreover, being so heavenly minded that one is no earthly good is become a predominant reason why the nation and its citizens are exiting Christianity. Perhaps, that’s the real coup-one by the devil. (Used with permission by Bill Wilson and The Daily Jot)

  1. Father, gracious God.
Thank You that a king shall reign in righteousness and princes shall rule in judgment.

We ask that You would continue to expose and remove the evil and deception in every area of our government from the local to the federal to the judicial system and judged.
Please confuse the enemies in the heavenly realm and protect our President. Bring to prosecution those who have willfully and spitefully have broken the law. By Your authority we pray.

  2. Samuel Worcester, a missionary from England, sued the United states in court for stealing land from the American Indians. He worked with Cherokee Chief Sequoyah to save the tribe. His fellow missionaries traveled with the Cherokee Nation on the Trail of Tears. Samuel adopted all the orphaned children. Samuel’s entire missionary career was political! Those missionaries saved the Cherokee nation! GOD BLESS THEM! Lets get political!

  3. Congressman Goehmert’s “personal opinion, however, is that no one high up will ever go to jail over this because sedition laws require “force” to be used against the government.”
I pray fervently that this is not the case and HIS JUSTICE is served!

  4. Alan, well placed! Our strength is in being “one”, minded, voices echoing the Only WORD that stands us, stays us and when used correctly…saves because of all JESUS is and has already done
There IS a “blueprint” called the Bible, a foretelling…why are we “the Body” so docile?
We are called our Shepherd’s sheep, don’t get it twisted though, we are Ephesian 6 and Luke 10 authorized and armed! So, let’s be about our Father’s business!
In 1Cor 13 love and Genesis to Revelation dependency

  5. I believe that President Trump is the ‘man of the hour’. Our country needs him.
“He is here for such a time as this”! He needs our Prayers and so do his enemies.
We have Muslim elected officials in our government and they shouldn’t be there, because they are here to annihilate us. Some talk real nice as tho they are with us, but underneath they are vicious haters of Christians, Jews and Democracy! They can’t be trusted. Are there any Christians or democratic believers in their government? It is not permitted because of hatred. They have duped the American people! We are definitely in the Last Days. “Hell hath enlarged herself”! Pray for our Country!

  6. Father You alone know the heart of a man. You alone put “kings” in place. You reveal the plans of men and displace darkness. I pray that evil plans be exposed and lives be saved. And that those who trust You will be vindicated.

  7. Would that the passivity cloaked in religious piety be ripped from the church! We are not only to come boldly into the throne room, but we must acknowlege that Spirit-led actions must accompany words! “The Kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” – not passivity. Jesus, when being challenged by Satan not only quoted scripture, but followed up by taking his authority over him and commanding, “Get thee behind me Satan!” He didn’t bow to him in any way shape or form, nor should the church be….We were told by Jesus to “OCCUPY ’til he comes”! Occupation requires faithful vigilance, dilligence, and active engaging of the enemy on every front whenever he attempts to challenge that position. Wise as serpents and harmless as doves! Amen! Lord, let it be so!

    1. Amen Norma! I agree with you 100%! The kind of passivity we see in the church is what gets soldiers on the battlefield killed. The religious spirit is so dangerous. The entire Word of God lays out the History of His raising up governments and bringing them down in the earth until all are submitted to Him. We are to be actively engaged in the process of the kingdoms of this world becoming the Kingdoms of our God and of His Anointed!

  8. Jesus, may your sheep hear and know your voice. Satan soughtto manipulate Jesus in the wilderness > Word of God. Protect your people, may our eyes be fixed on you so that such tactics never succeed. May we hear your word from your mouth alone.
