President Trump declared this week that he is “the chosen one” to take on Communist China. He was specifically addressing the ongoing effort to negotiate a trade deal that would remedy longstanding predatory Chinese practices, theft of our intellectual property, currency manipulation, etc.
Donald Trump has, moreover, chosen to effect far more sweeping, fundamental and urgently needed course-corrections with regard to U.S. policy towards the PRC. For example, in response to various threat vectors being simultaneously pursued by Xi Jinping’s Chinese Communist Party, the President has: adopted a robust anti-China national security strategy; started modernizing our nuclear deterrent; committed to fielding far more capable missile defenses; launched a Space Force; begun to re-arm Taiwan; and challenged China’s efforts to control the South China Sea.
Much more is needed. And the President we chose to do it recognizes this may be our last opportunity.

Our only Wise, mighty Almighty God. Thank You for president Trump. We believe that You have indeed called him to be a Cyrus. Therefore, I thank You for clothing him with his Cyrus mantle whenever he goes on overseas missions to represent our nation and also in defense of other less powerful nations who need our help. I declare and affirm Your Word in Isaiah 45:1-3:
“The Lord says this to Cyrus, His anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him, to unloose the loins of kings, to open the doors before him and the gates will not be shut. Yes, we should pray for our loved ones and for His kingdom to come and His will to be done. Although Nebuchadnezzar was God’s judgment tool prophesied through Jeremiah to Israel’s disobedience, even his captain of the guard was aware of it, showing mercy to Jeremiah. Jer. 40.2. However, this king too experienced the judgment of God,because he exalted himself and didn’t give Him credit. At the end he did and the glory belonged to God. This should be our prayres as well as we should have Christ’s heart for redemption. And Cyrus was stirred up by the Lord as well to proclaim His command to him to build a house in Jerusalem, addressing the Jews dwelling there.Ezra 1.1-2.
I believe our prayers for our leaders are crucial as well as our heart’s attitudes, which is what He tests. We all are in progress and need His mercy and grace abundantly.

Don’t forget that the First Lady opened a rally (with thousands of people in attendance, as well as on national news) with the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus himself taught that prayer, in the New Testament. Trump gave full approval and applause–people talked about how it the first time in decades any president or first lady ever publicly opened with the Lord’s Prayer. I know people who have no concept of God at all. We cannot hit non-believers full in the face but introduce God and His Son to them gently, so that eventually some will embrace the Son.
