It is only when we look at the policies, rulings, and legislation that President Trump and his administration have initiated on behalf of biblical conservative values, that believers can rightly discern the effectiveness and impact of the White House. Here are TEN REASONS, along with corroborating reports, why evangelical Christians can support this administration as they seek to uphold many of the values we hold most dear. We hope you not only study these for yourself, but SHARE them with those who still struggle with this President’s agenda or actions. (Hyperlinks to original articles are embedded in text.)
1-THIS ADMINISTRATION HONORS THE SANCTITY OF LIFE
Since taking office, President Trump has championed numerous initiatives to defund Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. He has repeatedly defended the sanctity of life and has vowed to champion the cause of the unborn. Not only has he stood by pro-lifers, his administration has rolled back the contraceptive mandate making it easier to get a religious exemption. The President has stated, “All children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God. Every life is sacred, and every soul is a precious gift from Heaven.”
2-THIS ADMINISTRATION SUPPORTS BIBLICAL SEXUALITY AND FAMILY VALUES
From the first day in office, the Trump administration took definitive steps to curtail the promotion of the LGBT lifestyle by dismantling special rights and privileges gifted to political activists under the previous administration. The Presidents’ support for biblical sexuality has been reinforced through reversing Obama’s policy for transgenders in the military and reversing the ruling on same-sex bathrooms. Trump has stated, “faith and family are the foundational blocks for life” and the center of American life. To help support growing families, in 2017 Trump signed into law a tax credit for businesses who provide paid leave for new parents. As a father himself, President Trump raised his own five children to avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs.
3-THIS ADMINISTRATION CHAMPIONS RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
In 2018, President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled “Establishment of a White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative” in order to assure ongoing religious freedom for all people of faith. He has championed the rights of business owners to refuse customers who violate their religious beliefs, has proposed Bible literacy classes in six states, and advanced global religious freedom. Speaking to a group of international Christians experiencing persecution he stated, “In America we’ve always understood that our rights come from God, not from government. In our Bill of Rights the first liberty is religious liberty. Each of us has the right to follow the dictates of our conscience and the demands of our religious conviction. We know that if people are not free to practice their faith then all of the freedoms are at risk.”
4-THIS ADMINISTRATION APPOINTS CONSERVATIVE JUDGES
President Trump has already secured a legacy in appointing more judges (89) to the courts than either Obama or Bush. These appointments have already impacted American life by numerous court rulings made in favor of Christian conservative values, including the protection of the unborn, property rights, and border security. His originalist appointees to circuit courts are bringing rulings back in line with the Constitution rather than left-leaning politics. Given a second term, Trump’s administration is likely to appoint at least one, if not two, more supreme court justices, which will affect the nation’s governing policies for decades to come.
5-THIS ADMINISTRATION PROTECTS THE NATION FROM TERRORIST THREATS
Just two weeks into his presidency, Trump issued an Executive Order Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States. His team’s immigration policies reflect their priority in keeping American citizens safe from outside illegal activities and assuring border protection and national sovereignty from international threats. To those who work with the President on foreign policy, he is said to be “deliberative, humanitarian, and measured” in addressing conflicts with other nations.
6-THIS ADMINISTRATION DEFENDS ISRAEL AND PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS
Showing strong support for Israel, President Trump not only officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, moving the embassy there in 2018, but he also recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights in 2019, stating it was a “…critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability.” His administration is also committed to protecting persecuted Christians from around the world. Forming the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, President Trump has gathered Christians from other nations to address the problem and recently created the International Religious Freedom Alliance to affirm religious liberties globally.
7-THIS ADMINISTRATION CREATES JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND SUSTAINED ECONOMIC GROWTH
The economy has been thriving since Trump took office with over six million new jobs created and his business acumen continues to surprise his detractors. In addition to tax reforms, record-high stock market prices and oil production, there has been a robust jobs market and a rising GDP. This has benefited the black community, minority groups, and young people looking for work, as well as gotten over 3.5 million people off food stamps. In addition, his administration has launched pioneering initiatives through apprenticeships, education, and on-the-job training to encourage companies in creating more job opportunities for middle America.
8-THIS ADMINISTRATION ALIGNS WITH A GOD-HONORING PLATFORM
Based on the 2016 written platforms of each major party, God was mentioned twelve times in the Republican platform and none in the Democratic platform. In the spring of 2019, Democrats also removed “so help me, God” from House Committee oaths. At the 2016 Democratic National Convention, there was fierce debate on the floor as to whether to leave God in their platform. The ideologies and values of the Democratic party have changed significantly in the past two decades. Where the Democratic party’s platform is now clear on its support for abortion, marriage equality, and LBGT rights, the Republican party clearly stands for life, traditional marriage, and religious freedom. In regards to racial equality, the Republican party has historically been known as the party of anti-slavery in this nation, with a long list of advancements on behalf of black Americans.
9-THIS PRESIDENT INVITES PRAYER AND EVANGELICAL COUNSEL
Even before he was elected, Donald Trump brought together an informal faith advisory team to provide counsel during his campaign. Since being in office, this team has continued to be a sounding board for issues concerning evangelicals. Numerous insiders claim that Christian faith is at the forefront of the Trump White House. Vice President Mike Pence states that Trump routinely requests prayer during cabinet meetings. Trump has stated, “America will be a nation that believes forever, and we certainly believe, more than anyone, the power of prayer—it’s the most powerful thing there is.” At a Rose Garden gathering during the National Day of Prayer in 2018, President Trump made a surprising and rare statement from his podium, as he highlighted the testimony of a man who found Christ in prison. Going beyond any perceived safe zone in simply recognizing “faith” or “God,” President Trump named the name of Jesus as the way to salvation and celebrated this man whose life was changed by prayer and reading the Bible.
10-THIS PRESIDENT AND HIS ADMINISTRATION FIGHT SPIRITUAL ENEMIES FAR WORSE THAN NATURAL ONES
Even if one doubts any of the previous points and is still challenged by this President’s message or methods, we must be reminded of the spiritual battle that is raging over his assignment and this nation. The demonic strongholds asserting their power and influence in our culture are specifically aimed at taking control of our government, our laws, and our land. Regardless if this President understands the spiritual powers at work behind the scenes, he faces them, nonetheless. The boldness he exhibits in confronting corruption and the determination he displays in draining the swamp may be motivated by a higher power.
We are told in Isaiah 9:7 that the “…increase of His government and of peace there will be no end” and that “…the zeal of the Lord of Hosts will do this.” It is this zeal of the Lord that we must pray for, not only for this President, but for all believers who are praying that the Kingdom of God would overshadow the kingdoms of this world and that righteousness would reign in this nation, once again.

Praying the deceived evangelical “Christians” of America will see the light and not be blinded by the stardust, unrealistic promises and gold of Trump! If anyone should understand the problem with electing an ego-maniac and false Christian, like Trump, it should be Christians! The Bible warns us of a person, just like Trump, of becoming the anti-Christ taking over the world and destroying it. His personality, ego, speeches and personality disorders mirror that of other dictators, like Hitler and Napoleon. So, even if you don’t think Trump is the anti-Christ, why would ANYONE with ANY brains and knowledge of the Bible vote for a person, who resembles the description of the anti-Christ, Hitler or Napoleon! Chances are, things will turn out bad for America and Christians, if he is not impeached! It is sad and breaks God’s heart to see His Church supporting the Devil Trump. Matthew 7:21-23 New King James Version says: 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22: Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ They better watch out if they are true believers. I seriously doubt God approves of anything the Devil Trump does supports, says or does. To God, he is just another sinner in need of forgiveness and salvation and by his own words, Trump tells us he is always right and never needs forgiveness. The only thing Christ requires for salvation.
Trump is for Trump. Literally, like a chameleon, he changes every day for every crowd. One day he has bright yellow hair, orange face and a hot, bigoted head for the younger, feistier crowd. Then, he is light blonde, skin normal and caring Donald. He is after those evangelical moms, their boring little lives and their lower middle-class, beer chugging, Bible toting Johnboy! Then, there is the Silver fox and pasty skinned Sir Donald. The savior of the super-rich! Then there is the ash brown Trump with a beige face trying to show his true color of BS, to the ignorant.
True believers will reject Trump and be raptured. Trump supporters will find themselves rejected by Jesus at the gates of Heaven and sent to follow and serve the eternal Trump in Hell. Luke 13:28 “In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. God is talking to the church when he said in Matthew 24:10 At that time many will fall away and will hate and betray each other and many false prophets will lie and mislead.
Don’t lose your salvation over Trump’s lies to end abortion and support religious freedom. He is using these things to deceive Christians and they better wake up and quit taking bites of Trump’s poisonous apple. Shame on you, Paula Cain White, Mark Burns and Jerry Falwell Jr. for being false prophets for the Devil Trump! Repent now to save your soul and the souls of those who follow you.

Who despises me? Christians, who follow the teachings of Christ or those, who pretend to love the Lord, yet, spit in the face of their Savior by supporting the man of lawlessness Trump, who is the antithesis of Jesus. For that sin, the word says in Matthew 8:12, it says “but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Jesus is talking to Christians, no non believers. During the rapture parables, where half are taken and half are left. Who are the Christians taken and left behind and why? Those Christians, who sold their salvation for a taste of Satan’s poisonous apple i.e. stopping abortion, gay marriages and protecting religious freedom is the Devil Trump’s con of God’s chosen. A con prophecy projects and evangelicals accept, because their political belief in a demon driven man and his promises is worth losing your salvation and place in Heaven. God specifically warns the church of this 2 Thessalonians 2:3Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (the son of destruction) is revealed. 4:He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Trump has proclaimed himself to be the “King of Israel” and the “chosen” one. He acts like he is God and he is lawless beyond all. Those accepting Trump as such, forsaking all that Jesus has taught and expects of us, will be judged harshly and turned away by Jesus. Matthew 7:22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Eternal death is the penalty for worshiping and supporting the man of lawlessness. I will pray for you and fight for the souls of the fallen church, until the Lord returns.
Amen! You have been clear and specific as to why believers need to listen to God speak to their spirit and have discernmnent in regard to Trump. Having been on this site before, I received attacks to repent and that is so extremely sad to me instead of receiving the truth, many ask who am I to throw a stone. What a tragedy to use scripture in that condescending spirit. Trump has succeeded is dividing the country more than anyone in American history, has the lowest approval rating in history, has used profanity more than any president in history, insults world leaders making our country a mockery, puts children in cages, demeans women and is only interested in himself and continues to be greedy for power at any cost. We would all be dead from radiation if he nuked the last hurricane. I am amazed at his stupidity and cannot understand at all why some evangelicals support him. Do we not know that God looks at the heart of man and not his polocies? My prayer continues to be that believers seek the truth so we can be a United body for Christ, above all else, but also for our country to return to him on our knees.
For Trump Christians to throw stones at anyone is ludicrous, as they will never have any standing of righteousness, while standing with Trump. Besides all of Trump’s followers secular contradictions, they eagerly support his false principles, which directly contradicts what Jesus says. As with abortion, they want to legislate sin of others, while they sin the sin of supporting the anti-Christ and allow living children to be put in and abused in concentration camps at the border. Matthew 7: 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. This sums up Trump’s Cult of Christians perfectly!

Huummm. Nice try. But, no you cannot follow Trump and Christ, they are headed in opposite directions. The article above is the type of spin aimed at folks who do not read the Bible and are not interested in following Christ, but who would like to try to claim they are Christians while standing against Christ. If you were to read the Bible, you would not be prey to the the type of dishonesty that the article represents. However, you could always start with this passage. “The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

Or, you might think how this verse applies to those who use the Lord’s name in vain, by claiming that they follow Jesus and Trump. “If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6
Please quit taking the name of God in vain and trying to dirty it by associating it with Donald Trump and his crew of evil criminals. We will pray that Trump and all of his followers repent and turn to the Lord.

Yes, Thank-you, David. Those who claim to be both Christian and following Trump are modern Herodians, attempting to identify power with religion. In the first century, these Herodians were enemies of Jesus. In the first century, Jesus was offered by the devil political power (Matthew 4: 8-10) and turned it down. But the devil has continually returned to Christians with this offer and IFA, Falwell and others have bought into this seduction. Children of God, there are many antichrists (I John 2: 18) and Trump is one of them.

It is hard to find “Christians, who stand with truth, rather political or Biblical. It is hard to see our brothers and sisters, be manipulated and brainwashed, so easily. That is why it is important for Christians, who follow Christ and the Bible to try to reach those, who have fallen under the demonic influence of the Devil Trump. Kavannaugh, Trump and all sinners have no business controlling other people’s lives in America. You have to go to Iran for those kinds of restrictions and bigoted judgement. We have a Constitution which protects hypocrites from controlling others lives. Suggest you read it and the Bible, which offers sinners redemption and love, instead of condemnation and hate. Matthew 7:5 says Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. … You hypocrite!
I thank God for President Trump. From before he was the nominee God put a love in my heart for him. I’m so thankful to God for placing President Trump and Vice President Pence in leadership of our country for such a time as this. So thankful for all the points made in the article of the good that is being done through this administration. May God continue this marvelous work that is being accomplished and praise be unto God for His mighty goodness to us and to our nation. May God’s people arise in the Holy Spirit and pray for a mighty move of God across this nation.
God did not choose Trump, the electoral college did and God did not speak to those voters. It saddens me deeply that believers don’t look at this present actions, not to mention his past indecency as well as his wife. He uses profanity, he strikes down everyone who doesn’t agree with him, he tweets ridiculous messages and throws everyone else under the bus. He has separated children from their parents who are looking to the US as asylum from the tyranny of their government and he has no compassion for anyone except himself. He will have to answer to God for all his mess and lies = as we all will. He is like a toddler who won’t grow up and see reality and has tantrums when things don’t go his way. People, wake up. In 2015, I was surprised to find that God told us that Trump was His man. So our intercessory group began to pray for him from 8am to 9am, Monday thru Sat from Oct. 2015 until January 23, 2017 in a telephone conference call. We now pray three days a week for him and the Nation.
When praying about 40 years ago In the late 70’s God told us that abortion was His most important issue when it came to voting. With that information, our entire group moved from the Democratic party to the Republican party, as the Democrat party had abortion as part of their platform. Now the Democrat party has not only abortion, but infanticide and same sex marriage as part of their platform. One can not pray for their family to be well and healthy on one hand and vote for the party that supports abortion and sexual abominations with the other hand. I would caution anyone who is not praying for the leader of their Nation, as God says to first pray for the King. Additionally, Trump has been called to this position. Lean not to your own understanding, but in all of your ways acknowledge Him. His ways are higher than yours. Do not stick your finger in the eye of God. You are list all negative views of him. Let you who have no sin cast the first stone. He is a new Christian. He stands against abortion. He honors Israel. He moved the American Embassy to Jerusalem. He has put two very conservative Judges into the Supreme Court, He has a love for our Nation and has the heart of a father toward our Nation. He loves and honors our military and police. He turned the situation with Isis around, He has negotiated to get Americans being held in prisons in other countries freed. He has raised admirable, responsible children. He is returning prosperity to our Nation. He has created an atmosphere for jobs, allowing families to thrive. I believe that you are not only in error, but you are in sin. It is sin not to know the will of the Father. If you are a Christian,you are responsible to uphold and pray for the Nation. I invite you to cast down preconceived ideas and all vane imaginations that prevail themselves against the mind of Christ. His ways are higher than yours. Lean not to your own understanding, but in all of your ways acknowledge Him. I believe you grieve the heart of God when you do not recognize President Trump as God’s man for this time.
You have written beautifully but unfortunately misled and blinded. In the group of believers I know and pray with acknowledge the blunder of Trump as president. He is hateful and destructive and dangerous. God has led me and many others to spread the truth and to be aware of false prophets and teachings. Our country is and always has been under spiritual attack. Politics is irrelevant since those in power are blatantly blasphemous. Morality cannot be legitimized by law under any leader since only Jesus can save and cleanse. I do not grieve the heart of God as He is my anchor and Father and directs my steps. Thank you for another confirmation. I have great difficulty in understanding why and how believers can support this ungodly president. The Lord has confirmed it in my spirit many times, to speak up. I normally I talk one on one with people. But as intercessors for America, I felt led to do so this time.

You say God did not chose him. Did you vote for a full term abortion supporter? During Clinton’s term, the house and Senate voted to outlaw partial birth abortion. Clinton vetoed the bill. Definition of partial birth abortion. Deliver the baby breach, feet first, all but the head. Then they push an instrument into the babies brain, so when the head is delivered, the baby is dead. HOW CAN A CHRISTIAN VOTE FOR AND SUPPORT A DEMOCRAT WITH THAT DEMOCRAT PLATFORM. OF COURSE NOW, IN NEW YORK AND VIRGINIA THEY HAVE APPROVED INFANTICIDE. Actually… Jesus forgave us and said “Now go and sin no more.” Trump has continued to sin and brag about his sins daily. I’d also suggest that you look up what a late-term abortion actually is and when it is medically used. It’s not just a “I’ve decided I don’t want my baby.” It’s only used to save the life of the mother or when the child is already dead in the womb. Anyone who would want to force a woman to carry her dead baby for months is the true monster if you wouldn’t force someone to keep a cancerous tumor until a certain number of months have expired. In both cases, it could kill the would-be mother. Personally, I’m not sure how any Christian can look in the mirror and confidently tell themselves that God would approve of their support for someone their savior specifically warned against.

My knee jerk is a response to of his Rhetoric to be sure, whether it is the source of all derision or decisiveness in the country I doubt it, he does seem to expose the motives or agendas of many.

Our church studied Romans for three years, and now have been on Luke this year, which we studied off and on over the past forty years. Romans, some commentators say, is the most important NT book, gets to the motives of the heart and how to live out our lives in Christ and as the Church. We have been looking at Jesus as a High Priest this time around in Luke, with time in Hebrews where Paul reveals Jesus priestly office over the church according to the Order of Melchizedek. Paul, a Jew, sent to the Gentiles, writing to the Hebrew Christians, has a revelation of Jesus. A lot more than scales came off his eyes that day in Damascus!
Pat, my hope is in Jesus and am sure He hears all our prayers for our country, and can sort things out, if we’d let Him. I too pray for the Church, asleep in the Light, perhaps, but I can see that IFA is drawing out Intercessors to hear the heart and cries of God.

Nice to meet you Ron. Our sins of our youth do seem to creep upon us in physical and spiritual ways starting in our 60’s. Aches, pains, illnesses remind us constantly the time is close, no matter what faith. I was saved in Costa Mesa Calvary Chapel, in 1971. Needed badly after years of abuse by men and the feeling that I was unwanted from birth, with no real right to life. In my spirit, I think I knew I was better where I was at in Jesus arms, then where I was going. As I sprung from my mother’s womb, with my cord wrapped around my neck only reinforced the idea that I had no right to breath. Over the years, since being saved and with the help of psychologist and the right medication for the trauma of my youth, I an at peace finally. I know who I am in the Lord and look only to them. The church has never been a place for me, no matter where I went. I found such hypocrisy, hate of others and judgement of everyone else, it pushed me away and caused me to back slide in disappointment of the church. The church’s hypocritical, blind and Godless support of Trump has only reinforced the failure of the church. Pedophile priests, adulterous, power and money hungry “leaders” of our church has only proven to me that the church is fallen and is the Laodecia church of the end times. The Lord has called me to deliver this message, in my small capacity trying to reach the deceived church starting with the false prophets supporting Trump. Interestingly the town I live in was called Laodecia back in the 1800’s and happens to be exactly like its name of old. Nice talking to you!

Like Paul, I have my thorns which also say “My grace is sufficient for you, Ron” When my heart is aligned with “He must increase and I must decrease”, there is calm and peace. Pressing in to Him is the cross carried daily. Sounds curt at times, yet still, very true. Father wants me to constantly give those “past events and sins” up to Him. (Walking in the Light) so the blood of Jesus can cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
My salvation experience was more of a process, than a single event. Saved at a bible study in College, 1971-2, during the height of the Jesus Movement and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. A wide net was cast across our campus. It took awhile to realize that it was more than joining the club and paying weekly dues, He was after every area of my life. Lordship, in that sense, took place in 1978. The Cross took on a whole new meaning.”My Heart Christ’s Home” is a good book which nailed Discipleship for me.
Married my wife, we both met teaching, in December 1978. This Monday is our 41st Anniversary. We both had rejection in our lives, some real, some self-imposed. When following Jesus we discovered how much it takes two to tango, I was one who loved to shift blame and not take ownership to my part. Pressing in to Him and having open fellowship with like minded followers has helped us to move closer to the Father’s heart.
We have belonged to the same church our whole marriage. Birthed out of the Jesus movement, many of us were churched, at least half Catholic, yet disillusioned until the r4al Jesus appeared. I began to fellowship there in 1974. Our Core members carried a desire to follow the Lord with our whole lives. Non-denominational, covenant in our relationships, we consider ourselves Family. We have no children. But Jesus has given us family, children, grandchildren, made us uncle and aunt to many.
We work with International Organizations such as Joni & Friends for disabilities, Leadership Resources for Training National Church Leaders, Youth With a Mission and others. Our families have adopted children from Africa, China, Viet Nam, along with those with disabilities, two with autism. We send teams out for missionary support work as the Lord leads. My wife and I support our military through Disabled American Veterans,. World Vision children, The Williamsburg Foundation, Angel Tree/Prison Fellowship, and others.
I am grateful that you have found peace from all the extra baggage. Those scars can dog us for years, but God can also use them for good. Once on the other side of grace, He can use us to help others. May your life be salted with mercy and grace. I love the analogy of the “Bruised Reed” and the “Flickering Wick”. Jesus come to straighten the one and make it strong again while blowing on the other to create a blaze of passion for Him.
