The writer of Hebrews lays down a basic principle for approaching God and seeking anything from Him. Hebrews 11: 6 states, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” When we approach God, the Bible says we must approach Him on the basis of faith. There is no other basis on which to approach God. Further, if we come to God on that basis, we must believe two specific things. First of all, that He is (that He exists), and secondly, that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. If you diligently seek God, He will reward you—that is guaranteed! He may not always reward you exactly the way you might have expected to be rewarded, but there will never fail to be given a reward to those who diligently seek God.

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, Your beloved Son, the perfect sacrifice for sin, lead us guide us in fasting and prayer life. Fasting is referenced in Your Word. Fasting is considered necessary in some instances as needed in praying for certain matters as if fasting reinforces power of prayer(s).
Help your people to seek and search, and find being receptive to fasting for sake of prayer life. Help us to value and see necessity of fasting as You will. Amen
