I Prayed have prayed
Ask the Lord for collective counsel on behalf of the Church and the nation.

One of the best ways to understand and interpret various impressions we receive from the Lord is to process them with others. Whether it’s through dreams, visions, Scriptures, or other insights the Lord gives us, we can put them together like puzzle pieces to better discern the Lord’s heart for our church, community, or nation. As the larger perspective emerges, prayers can be more specific and targeted and each member will be strengthened and encouraged.

Our church started a monthly Prophetic Round Table last year, with intercessors from our congregation, for a time of processing and prayer. Each month, we have experienced increased clarity in what God is speaking and we are receiving more specific insight and instruction for prayer as we meet together and compare notes. Here are some highlights from our last meeting as we were praying for the Body of Christ and the nation.  Consider how they might confirm, strengthen, or encourage any prayer group or initiative you may be a part of.

1.THE SPIRITUAL BATTLES WILL INCREASE in the days ahead as the Kingdom of God expands in influence and authority. Those who walk in Darkness will continue to rebel and spin out of control. The Lord is using this to separate good from evil and convince the doubting Thomases of the spiritual realities (Amos 5:14). Take courage as His governing rule on the earth is increasing.  “Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end.” (Isaiah 9:7 ESV)

2.BELIEVERS MUST HOLD ON TO GOD’S WORD. The enemy is trying to rob many of God’s Word in their lives, both written and rhema (prophetic). Our greatest weapon in defeating the lies and threats coming through mainstream and social media is by speaking the Word of the Lord collectively. Our voices are needed in order for the heavenly host to be activated on our behalf. We must remember and repeat God’s Word from Scripture and past prophetic words over our own lives and households to remind ourselves and the enemy of God’s unchanging Word that WILL come to pass because of His covenant. “Forever, O Lord, Your Word is firmly FIXED….You have established the earth, and it stands fast. By Your appointment they stand this day, for ALL THINGS are Your servants.” (Ps 119:89-91 ESV)

3.BELIEVERS MUST STAY POSITIONED ABOVE THE BATTLES if we are to discern heaven’s counsel correctly. We must guard our hearts from distractions and discouraging headlines. It is only as we maintain intimacy with the Lord and stay positioned with Him in heavenly places that we will see clearly and pray accordingly (Eph 2:6-7). We are to stand with the sword of Thanksgiving in one hand and Praise in the other. It is what comes out of our mouths that will determine the outcome. “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:28-29 ESV)

4.WE MUST KEEP OUR VESSELS FULL OF THE OIL AND THE WINE. It is not enough to get filled for ourselves. It is for OTHERS that follow us that we must keep our lamps filled. The OIL of the Spirit will come through the CRUSHING and the PRESSING as we stand our ground (2 Corinthians 4:7-12). As we stand and persevere through trials and tests, this oil will flow through our lives and intercession to release His glory and purpose. The WINE comes from the JOY OF THE LORD as we see through God’s eyes and laugh at our enemies (Psalm 37:12-15). It is a God-given FAITH that will give us such great confidence in victory, no darkness or plan of evil will be strong enough to overpower us. “And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 13:52 NAS)

5.WE MUST WALK IN HONOR if we are to gain heaven’s favor and take the ground as an inheritance. Honor the Lord, but also honor His Body. We must guard our speech regarding brothers and sisters from other streams and other theological bents. Keep Jesus central and the Kingdom priority and speak well of others as we journey together. “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” (Romans 12:10 ESV)

  • Consider sharing these prayer points with others in your church or community and ask the Lord for even greater clarity in your own setting.
  • Consider practical ways to take further action beyond prayer.
  • If you are not a part of a local prayer group, consider finding one, or starting one yourself. Even if it starts with just two or three intercessors, the Lord will honor your collaboration and partnership in the spirit.
  • If it seems there is no one “ready” to join with you, remain steadfast in prayer and ask the Lord to “make ready” those with a heart after Him.

What an encouraging, edifying article. Thank you for the good advice for active prayer. Getting together is key. In the scripture St. Paul asks, “Is Christ divided?” No, He is not. There is no reason we should not be gathering together across denominational lines for city wide prayer. Do we have to wait for a disaster to be united in prayer? There is strength in unity. But without unity are strength is weakened and we become vulnerable to enemy advances. Get your city together for a large National Day of Prayer in May.

The world will oppose the prophetic round table. But thanks be to our God that he has overcome the world. Though they hated him before us, they could not defeat him. Thanks be to God that through Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we can overcome the world also. Focus in the strategic area of prophecy is very useful to the Kingdom of God, may it continue with His good pleasure.

This will be a good article to study. Thank you for it! I’m also commenting that I can’t get to your Facebook page, where I get a lot of information. IS THIS THE PROMISED CENSORSHIP from Big Tech-Big pHARMa-Planned Unparenthood mafia takeover?
