While often our focus is on Capitol Hill, across the country state legislatures are passing or blocking laws that have a direct impact on incredibly important issues for Christians—life, religious liberty, family laws, what is taught in local schools, as well as other issues that affect our finances and daily life.
It is our belief that the engagement of intercessors with legislators is a natural next step to praying for them. Because of this, we have developed a tool to help you engage with your legislators. We hope this tool will help you reach out to your leaders to let them know you are praying, to encourage them, and to continue to purposefully pray for them on a regular basis. We encourage you to reach out to your lawmaker regardless of what party they represent—they all need prayer!

Our Father and our God, hear me now as I pray for our state
leaders. Turn their hearts to You, Lord, and help them to bow their knees in submission to Your holy will. Give them the
courage to stand strong for Your truth among the states of this
country. Help them to look to Jesus for Lordship and leadership.

Heavenly Father let there be establish legislate and laws of the Kingdom of Heaven to govern all activities within. Let every diabolical and subverting activity which opposes yhe will of the lord concerning our life and family,church be disallow. We ask thatevery diabolical decision and ruling be nullify. We ask that constitution be honor and our nation return you with our heart and repent. Father heal our land forgive us and help Holy Ghost everyone of our leaders.especially thought eho make decision on behalf of the nation and the people in Jesus Christ name. Amen
Thank you for reminding us of the importance of praying for our state officials. We especially think of those who have positions on the Supreme Court or will be voted on in the Spring election. Lord, please put people who love you and want to follow you to be in these positions of authority. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and acting on our behalf. You are an amazing God and nothing is too hard for you.
The more prayers that go out for our legislators the better it will be for our country. We were founded on Biblical principles and we pray that Godly people will be elected to represent us. I pray for wisdom and wise counsel to direct and influence our lawmakers. Thank you Jesus for your loving care and guidance and thank you for blessing our country.
