Is this strictly for youth participation only which is great and exciting but want to clarify
if for older age groups too!
Actually anyone can pray intercessory prayers and make intercession for others, there is however a calling as an intercessor/prophet/seer, see Jeremiah and Isaiah for understanding. We all are gifted and called to specific purposes, all are needed as in the letter to the Corinthians, 1:12. We make up the body, each of us brings an important part and while a body can function without some, it functions best with all parts doing what that part does best. Hope this brought understanding and thus unity.
You are giving people the impression that intercession is a special office like prophet, not true. Everyone who names the name of Jesus is required to pray for leaders and country, and even for the removal of bad leaders.
1 Tim 2:1-3
2:1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men;
2 for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity.
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of
