I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, may it be true that Your Church puts our trust fully, wholly in You.

A new South Dakota law that mandates the display of the national motto “In God We Trust” in public schools is now in effect. (NC has also passed similar legislation.)

According to the law, state public schools must display the motto in a manner that is approved by school principals and is at least 12 inches by 12 inches in size.

Wade Pogany, executive director of the Associated School Boards of South Dakota, told The Associated Press last week that schools have enacted the new law in various ways.

“Some have plaques. Other have it painted on the wall, maybe in a mural setting,” said Pogany. “[In one school] it was within their freedom wall. They added that to a patriotic theme.”

“In God We Trust” became the official motto of the United States on July 30, 1956, when President Dwight Eisenhower signed a law that also imprinted the motto on national currency. (Excerpt from the Christian Post.)

I am proud to say that my state, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, has also passed into law the same requirement beginning this school year. Now, as Christians we must fulfill our call to witness that all understand the one true “God”, Yahweh!

I pray to the Lord for the people of South Dakota, and for the people all over America that they will follow their example and put our Lord first, put their trust in Him. Our country is leaning towards evil gods, abortion, drugs, illegals immigrants, so many things, and removing God from our classrooms replacing Him with teachings of LGBT classes, these things should be taught by the parents, not by teachers. Schools should not have transgender bathrooms! Let the Old Testament warnings of what happened to Israel when they turned to sexual gods and away from the true God, and He turned away from them. I pray that America will wake up and know and see how blessed a country we have been return to God and praise and thank Him, put our trust in Him and follow Him.

Hallelujah! Good news for a change, and the rightful honoring of our Father God. While watching the World News with David Muir last week, there was a short final clip about a Vietnam veteran who died and was being buried who had no family. The funeral staff put a plea on social media, and over 3000 Americans came to this man’s funeral, even from other states! I watched that and cried. Now THIS is the America that I know exists populated with good and honest and decent Americans who are the majority in this country. Sadly, the left hateful media promotes just the opposite, as if all our citizens supported abortion, gay rights, etc., ad nauseam. The difference is that these wonderful Americans just quietly do what is right, and get little publicity or notice. So when an entire state promotes Godliness, we have reason to rejoice!! And I do! God Bless South Dakota and all who quietly stood up for God (even though I doubt I’ll see this on the 6 o’clock news). God has His people strategically placed here and there and everywhere! And He loves America! So I lose no sleep at night, because I know the truth, and it is wonderful.

Praise the Lord, this is wonderful news about South Dakota, and also about the wonderful people who turned out to show appreciation for this veteran and honor his service to our country when he had no family. This is uplifting to hear these things, especially when we are constantly hearing on CNN and MSNBC and even our local news stations the news about the horrible conditions in our country. Policemen being thrown water at in NYC, public schools now having trans gender bathrooms, God did not make transgender people! He created man and woman, transgenders exist because evil exists! It existed in Sodom and it was destroyed. Christians must stand up for what God says is right, not society or politicians. Yes, it is indeed to hear good news. Thanl you for posting this Barbara.
