On Wednesday, September 25, students from across the country, and across the globe, will participate in the annual See You at the Pole (SYATP) event. Gathering around the flagpole before school, students will lead a time of prayer for their schools, fellow students, teachers, communities, governments, and countries.

We’ve increasingly seen the speech of Christian students being silenced at public schools. We’ve represented students that were told they cannot talk about their faith and pray during their free time at school, or that they cannot hand out fliers inviting their classmates to a church event.
On public university campuses, Christian students are told they cannot talk about their faith with other students – not even in the student union – and a mob shut down a conservative event just because they disagreed with the speaker’s point of view.
That’s why these students need prayer. They are taking a courageous and unpopular stand for their faith when they show up at their schools’ flagpoles in the morning to pray.
But that is also the reason we have hope. These students are an example to all Christians. They are not shying away from proclaiming their faith and praying in public. They are a testament that their faith trumps their popularity.

Father, in Jesus’ Name, we pray that You will set the hearts of Christian students of all ages ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit this fall. May”See You at the Pole” this year grow into a daily event through Your courageous youth. Let their numbers grow and multiply, and may the faculty members sense the difference that their prayers are making in the atmosphere and quality of education of their school.
Holy Spirit, sweep down the halls and touch the hearts of every student in the school. May God ‘s promise to pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh be fulfilled in an ever increasing way this academic year, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Father, thank you for these young people in this generation who want to pray. May this be a revival for prayer of all ages. May it lead to restoration of our schools and this next generation. May they seek the face of God and humble themselves for true repentance. Let the promised results be that God will hear our prayers and cleanse us from sin and bring healing and restoration where it is needed across this nation in our public schools and universities. We ask God that you thwart the plans to promote the Comprehensive Human Sexuality Education legislation that is popping up all around the nation in different places. We ask God that parental/family rights be maintained regarding the sexual education of our own children. We ask that God would thwart plans for schools to teach/force students to accept the lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender lifestyles. Lord, have mercy on our children and let them be protected from ungodly plans that would influence or confuse them in ungodliness. God, let the works of darkness not prevail over our schools and universities across this nation.

I just woke up from an amazing dream of the youth being on fire for the Lord again, and then I saw this posting.
Father God I pray for Revival for our youth. That the You would pour out Your Holy Spirit on them. That they would be awakened from the stupor that the enemies trying to do in our nation and throughout the world by distracting them from knowing the truth of the Gospel. That their hope would be in Jesus the Christ, not in the things of this world. Let the prayer warriors be crying out to You as they gather at the poles on Wednesday!

Oh Lord, I thank you for all these courageous young people who are coming together to pray for their schools & their religious freedom to share their faith at their schools. I pray that their time of prayer will be a fruitful one. That others will also unite their prayers with theirs on Wednesday & whenever they see a student, teacher, staff member, or a bus driver! I pray that religious freedom across our nation will always be just that! A religious freedom that we can all enjoy, always share, wherever, & with whoever we come in contact with. I pray that as we continue to share our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, that many more will make the decision to give their lives to the very One who gave His life for them. Jesus! I pray Father that as young people gather on September 25 at the pole to pray for one another that you will hear their prayer for the public witness of Jesus Christ to be known amongst young people everywhere in the world. That as the pole carries the symbol of the nation, you will touch the hearts of every participating nation and even beyond to be committed to your word and to your cause. Lord, in many parts of the world, young people are being used to perpetrate violence and mayhem – even in Liberia, West Africa from where I write. I pray you will touch their hearts and turn it from violence to love, peace and harmony for the betterment of their communities. I pray that young people will continue to pray without ceasing. AMEN

Thank You Father God for bringing revival in the schools throughout Texas, America, and the world through this prayer movement of young people. Give these youth Your courage to take a stand for You at their flagpoles. Thank You for hearing and for answering all of our prayers; and for doing above and beyond all that we can ever ask, think, or imagine according to Your Holy Spirit’s power that works within Your children. Thank You for the many salvations that will be occurring through this youth movement. In Jesus Name, amen and amen.

Lord, regardless of dates, you have an appointment with the youth of our nation and around the world. I pray each and every student who shows up to pray at their school will sense and feel the power of your Holy Spirit. Cause them to be empowered by your word that never comes back void. Speak truth from their voices and shield them from the arrows of the enemy that your will is performed before a nation that removed prayer from the schools. Let us uphold the youth who will reclaim your name among the nations with steadfast prayer. Amen
