In a recent article on his website, Mario Murillo suggests that Donald Trump’s presidency is intended by God to ignite the Church. He believes we have a window of time to fulfill a heaven-sent commission that can only be accomplished by a Church that is revived, repaired, and rebuilt. Pray into these three areas so that the body of Christ might be “…perfect, complete, and lacking in nothing” (James 1:4).
Revive, Repair and Rebuild.
Revive: God commands us to seek a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We dare not have church without it! We dare not utter another word in the pulpit that denies it! The word of the Lord for this hour is: Cry out to God with a heart of gratitude for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit!
Here is the key promise if we do: “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.” (1 Samuel 10:6-7)
Repair: Both the pulpit and our moral compasses are broken. They must be repaired! Our wiring, our plumbing, and our foundations are damaged. Abortion and marriage are issues we lost because our leadership was broken. We abandoned the Bible and did not arm ourselves or our congregations with convictions.
America needs Lions of God who will roar from a righteous heart. Away with secret sin and lukewarm grace! Prayer will bring about the needed repair. The voice that shakes hell and frees men and women from bondage is forged only in fervent prayer. Satan does not respect your stage presence, your education, or your worldly tactics. He recognizes a prayerless poser. He only retreats before men and women who have been to Gethsemane.
Rebuild: We must come home to the Glorious Gospel. We must dismantle all the silly things we have tried to say to this generation. Forget about “rebranding”! We need to rebuild our sermons from the ground up. Let them be replete with Bible verses. Let them speak of the power of our mighty God. Fill them with content the Holy Spirit can use to win lost souls! Lift up the name of Jesus. The Good News must once again roll off our tongue in the office, on campus, and at the mall.

Your full article is spot on. One of satan’s strategies is to divide & conquer. James spells it out beautifully. 1 John addresses our daily walk and growth. Romans is the new testament believers handbook.
Isaiah prophesies that Cyrus will be their deliverer. During Israel’s Captivity, in Nehemiah, King Cyrus became just that, as you pointed out in Ezra. God can and will use Kings, Presidents, Supervisors, to carry out His will.
Even President Trump sees the forces at work. Yet he has become King Cyrus to the Church. He who has ears to hear…. Prayer is the Weapon of the Church, tearing down speculations and lofty thoughts against Christ, evil forces in high places.
The Armour of God is necessary in this Battle. Like Timothy, each of us are called to be good soldiers of Christ. Each in our appointed place, we become an Army of Light, dispelling Darkness. Standing firm however, requires signing a death warrant to our flesh, the Cross. (He must increase and I must decrease) Without it we can not fight, cannot Love, cannot persevere in the cause of Heaven.
Jesus spoke what He heard Father speaking and did only what He saw Father doing. He defeated the Wilderness to show us that we are to do the same. The Cross us the only way out.
Father,
We give you all the praise and honor that our lips and heart can muster! There is no God like you! You are truly the creator of the universe. Father you said in your book of Revelation that there would be a time in which we find ourselves in right now. We live in a world and support a culture where things that use to be wrong are now right and vice versa. Lord, you said there would be a time when mens’ hearts would begin to faint. Father, we are in those times NOW. And we ask for your forgiveness in ALL the sins this nation has committed both past and present. Please, Lord we ask that you begin a healing of this nation by an outbreak of your Holy Spirit on those spoken of in the book of Joel. Father, begin to raise up that remnant of men, women and children that you have set aside for a time such as this. Lord, help us to begin to walk in TRUTH and SPIRIT! Give us the courage to stand up to what is RIGHT and speak your word to the world. Lord, bring this nation together on one accord to serve as a beacon of light for the rest of the world. Father, we close out our prayers by saying THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR GOODNESS AND MERCY!

Heavenly Father, we live in a world where everyone has an opinion. It is so hard to sort out ‘truth’ from so many opinions. I pray that you will protect us from the ‘lies of the enemy’ and that we are able to recognize that opinions and how we want things to be is not ‘Your Truth.’ Solomon prayed for wisdom — may we all pray for wisdom. Please instill in us the assurance that ‘Your Truth’ and ‘Your Word’ is where our focus must remain and that everything else is ‘sinking sand.’ In Jesus’ precious name. Amen
Lord, we stand before you sinful and sorrowful, and give you glorious praise! Help us to Heal our nation by speaking your Word and the Truth. Send out a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to revive our hearts and minds. In your son Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
