Father, we lift up our Supreme Court justices and pray they will make a stand for life by denying this emergency stay. Many national leaders are calling for prayer and fasting for the next few days about this case.
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12)
Two doctors in Louisiana are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to grant an emergency stay of a law they say could cripple access to abortions in the state. The law requires doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their clinic. It would leave only one doctor in a single clinic to provide abortions in a state where 10,000 women seek the procedure each year, according to the plaintiffs.
In an application submitted on Monday to Justice Samuel Alito and expected to be reviewed by the full court, the unnamed physicians, represented by the Center for Reproductive Rights, asked the court to prevent the law from going into effect, as it is scheduled to do next week. Alito on Tuesday gave Louisiana two days to respond to the application.
The case could prove to be a test of President Donald Trump’s two nominees to the high court. Five justices are required to grant an emergency stay, if the full court acts on the matter, so at least one of the court’s five conservatives will have to join the liberal wing in order to prevent the Louisiana law from going into force. Abba Father we cry out to You on behalf of all the unborn. We confess the sin of Baal worship in our nation where our babies have been and are being sacrificed to the enemy of You and of our souls. Lord enter into the room of the Supreme Court justices that they may sense Your presence and bow to You in all decisions they face. We cry out to You to change the hearts or remove them who are against life in all levels of government. Shut the mouth of the devourer and open the eyes and mouths of all Christ followers in our nation, beginning with the pastors and leaders in our churches. Oh, God, do not allow these people actually doing the abortions and those working in the abortion field do it any longer. Open their eyes to your glory and the sanctity of life to which their eyes have been closed. Have them repent and stop these acts that are against your law. Allow these women who believe they have no choice but abortion to be enveloped in your love and to know there are other solutions than this heinous act. We lift them up to You for Your blessings of wisdom and fear of the Lord, according to Your word whereby You instruct us to pray for all those in authority. (1 Tim 2:2-3) May it be done according to Your Word and Your mercy, that there be peace and freedom, protection and justice, for You want “everyone to be saved and to come unto full knowledge of the truth”. May there be safety for mothers and babies, just as a shepherd protects his sheep, especially the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. Keep them safe in this day of trouble according to Your Word and Your Holy Will:

Georgene, I am praying the prayer of agreement with you on these abortion issues. I think that you are aware of the ‘sacrifices’ made to demonic beings by offering up unborn children and of the ‘business’ of selling body parts as well. We serve a mighty God and He is bringing judgement to those who are involved with abortion in any way. Nevertheless I pray that God will convict them for their actions and that He will use them as strong witnesses against abortion. Look at the miraculous conversion of Paul the Apostle who went from being a destroyer of Jews to writing about half of the New Testament. Let us all be in remembrance of the verse that best describes Joseph’s Position. “What the enemy meant for evil God changed it for good”. This is not verbatim but you know the scripture. We are as Shammah (2 Samuel 23:11-12) we must stand our ground and not back down against this force of evil abortion. -Each individual will answer to God for their action. Let’s not argue someone else’s action. Let’s go to God for our own sin and pray for our Nation.
