Father, we pray that our leaders, especially President Trump and Senator Schumer and Representative Pelosi, would have godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding about the border wall and the management of government moving forward.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)
A stalemate over funding for a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border could force a partial government shutdown Friday. Lawmakers have not been able to pass a spending bill in either chamber of Congress. The White House wants $5 billion allocated to building the wall, while Democrats have offered no more than $1.6 billion for fencing upgrades and have suggested keeping funding at its current level of $1.3 billion. Republican-proposed solutions, including a stopgap bill, also have not gained traction.
Amid the back-and-forth, the House took a six-day weekend and won’t reconvene until Wednesday, giving Republicans a narrow window of time in which to pass the budget before the shutdown deadline. President Donald Trump said last week in a meeting with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., that he would be “proud” to accept a shutdown if his request of $5 billion for the wall was not met. Schumer vowed Sunday that the president “is not going to get the wall in any form.”…
An NPR/Marist poll taken about two weeks ago found that 57 percent of all Americans say the president should compromise on the border wall. But 65 percent of Republicans say the opposite.
A shutdown would affect about one-quarter of the government, including the departments of Agriculture, Homeland Security, Justice, State, and Transportation. (Excerpts from Harvest Prude article in WORLD)

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for for putting President Trump in office and giving this great country another chance to serve you.
We humble ourselves and repent of our sins and the sins of the people of this country. Please heal our land so that once again we will be a beacon of hope, an example of morality, and a land of numerous opportunities, one nation under God.
I break the stronghold and the mockery of the enemy against President Trump and against Your will Lord, in leaving this country vulnerable to human traffickers, druglords and terrorists, in Jesus name.
I speak confusion to the ranks of the enemy and move the mountain of pride from the democratic party that is doing everthing they can to oppose President Trump, simply because they hate him and are being influenced by Satan to do his will to destroy this country. Lift the veil Lord and RIP the roof off Congress, in Jesus name.

Lord God we come to you in humidity we come against all weakness in high places we repent as a nation unto God. we believe that all things are in your ✋ give Trump and his staff the Grace to go threw and we know the wall be built in Jesus mighty name amen.
All the former presidents are recorded on news programs stating that we MUST secure our borders. Obama, Clinton, Bush. And yet they attack out of hatred & vengeance when Trump says the same thing!!
Father in Heaven,
We turn to You and repent and ask You to heal our land. Bring amazing REVIVAL through out America. Heal the hatred and the prejudice that now marks our land.
We ask for The Holy Spirit to command us and heal us as a nation.
Our founding Fathers loved You Dear Jesus! Help us to follow their example! Turn the USA back to repentance.
Please protect President Trump on this issue. Help American citizens to realize we can not be a country if our enemies can flood us and take our resources and rape our people.

I applaud our President, and pray you will keep him strong in dealing with treacherous officials who have forgotten that they work for the people. Make the crooked road straight before our President, we ask dear Lord, and bless his efforts. In Jesus name, Amen
Trump’s request for five billion is small in comparison to the multi-billion it cost America to secure the border each year which includes other factors, I would find it hard to believe that anyone Christian or not would open the doors of their homes to a group of hoodlums and invite them in and that’s my point, the wall is like a giant door that protects you and me and the cost of maintaining it would be small in comparison to what this country spends each year on border security, the Democrats were all for border security when Bill Clinton, George Bush, and Obama were president but now they oppose it, why? the answer is really simple, they hate Trump and will do anything to make sure he fails. In Mathew 10:16 we read as Jesus was talking to His Disciples He said to be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves, He knew they would run up against opposition anger and hate and that’s exactly what’s happening to Trump as he wants to protect this country but the Democrats want open borders, I say if a government shutdown is the only solution then shut it down.
