Philip Haney was a repeat guest on IFA prayer calls, and was a personal friend of Dave and Kris Kubal and the IFA staff. His body was discovered Friday beside his car along a road in a rural area east of Sacramento. Journalist Sara Carter tweeted, “Somebody I deeply respected and considered a friend Phil Haney – a DHS whistleblower during the Obama Admin was apparently killed yesterday in Southern California. Pray for his family and pray they find the person who murdered him. Still trying to get confirmation on details.”

Haney was an Obama-era DHS Whistleblower who revealed that a directive from the top resulted in the wiping clean of the terror tracking database used to connect and follow Islamic terrorists and networks, claiming that the Obama administration shut down a program that could have prevented Islamic terrorist attacks that were carried out on U.S. soil.

Even after he left the DHS, he continued speaking out about the Islamic infiltration of critical parts of our government by CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood, as well as outing the radical ideologies of some notable elected officials. He often shared that the information he shared and the kind of people it outed made him a target and that it was dangerous work he was doing.

Anyone who knew Philip knew that integrity, freedom, and love of Christ were paramount to him and why he risked being outspoken about Islam and terrorism. He recently told friends that the danger level for him had increased and if he turned up dead somehow, it would not be suicide even if it looked like it. Imagine the shock when Philip’s body was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest and some news organizations declared it a suicide. In reality, the death is under investigation and many are suspicious it is foul play. Pray for truth and justice regarding his death.

Rep. Steve King of Iowa tweeted: “Phil Haney was a friend & patriot. He was a target because of all he knew of Islamic terrorist coverups. He insured his life by archiving data that incriminated the highest levels of the Obama administration. Phil Haney didn’t kill himself. RIP, Phil.”

Philip graciously spent time sharing his knowledge on Islam with IFA staff, faithfully participated as an intercessor on IFA’s calls (we regularly received a text after each call encouraging us and thanking us for the great information) and even spent his last Thanksgiving in the DC area with the Kubal family.

We are thankful and blessed to have known Philip. All of us involved with IFA have benefitted from his insight and intel. We are praying for justice for his death, and that the projects he was working on would continue.  May God rise up others who can be the brave truth-tellers exposing the same information on Islamic influence embedded in our government. We pray for physical and spiritual protection for those who are reporting it.
