I Prayed have prayed
Jesus, take us deeper on our walk with You. Give us understanding and revelation of Your Word and lead us by Your Spirit.

Of all the places I visited in Israel last year, my favorite was Jacob’s well—the spot where Jesus ministered to the Samaritan woman. The authenticity of many sites in the Holy Land are disputed, but nobody has any question about this famous well, which is located in the modern city of Nablus in the West Bank.

Now housed inside a Greek Orthodox church, the well is carved into solid rock. Visitors are allowed to lower a container down into the well, bring up water and drink it. I was fascinated by how long it took to retrieve the water. And when I poured some of it back into the well, I waited several seconds to hear a faint splash. This well is 131 feet deep—the equivalent of a nine-story building.

I was in awe. Jesus actually sat in that same spot where I was standing! And that was where he told the woman of Samaria in John 4:13-14: “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water that I shall give him will become in him a well of water springing up into eternal life.”

Jesus sat next to a deep well—a well that represented the faith of the Jewish patriarchs. Yet He told this woman that there was something more. Something better. Something deeper than she had ever imagined. Jacob’s well was deep, but Jesus calls us so much deeper. His words to the Samaritan woman made her thirstier and thirstier. And her decision to believe in the Messiah resulted in an entire village embracing faith in Him.

You may never visit Jacob’s well in Nablus, but He calls you to explore the depths of who He is. He is calling His church in this hour to leave the shallowness of superficial Christianity. Regardless of what you have experienced before, He offers more. He beckons you to go deeper.

The apostle Paul experienced miracles, received help from angels, heard the audible voice of Jesus and saw visions of the third heaven. Yet he wrote of “the unfathomable riches of Christ” in Ephesians 3:8b (NASB). The Greek word for “unfathomable” can also mean “untraceable” or “beyond comprehension.”

Paul used this same imagery when he prayed for the Ephesians that they would be able to comprehend “what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Eph. 3:18-19)….

Jesus wants you to walk on the waves with Him. He invites us all to experience a miraculous adventure of faith.

Heavenly Father,
I pray that we all come to the deep longing , hunger and thirst of having a deep relationship to You, seeking You with all our hearts. Cause us Oh God to have zealousness to stay in Your presence. May we encounter You in a supernatural way like never before…Oh Holy Spirit rain like a flood of living water, spring up Oh Well of living water into our soul. May we always like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Oh God, fill us with Your living water as we empty up ourselves. Enable and cause us to truly be able to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which passes knowledge and may we be filled with all Your fullness. Oh Sovereign Abba Father, we want to know You more….consume us with Your presence everyday for in Your presence there is fullness of Joy, and in Your right hand there is pleasure forever.
We love You, Thank You for loving us and choosing us.
I exalt You and magnify You Oh God for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, forever and ever.
In Jesus’ precious mighty name, I ask and pray…AMEN.

Praise the Lord, for He is good. There is no other god than God Almighty! He is the beginning and the end. Everything that we are begins and ends in Him. He is the reason we are alive. Our lives belong to him. Thank you Lord Jesus for being all we will ever need. You refresh us and fill us with love and hope. You are the one true deep well where the living waters can be poured into our thirsty souls. Lord I long to see all you have planned for my life. I desire to seek your will and your ways all the days you bless me with. I pray for the church to stop playing church and to open their eyes and allow their hearts to be soften so that we can love the things you love and hate the things you hate. May we be willing to stand for you no matter the cost. You Lord Jesus are worthy of all honor, all power, and all praise. Let the church say Amen.

Ah Lord! You are marvelous and awesome!! Your love transcends the very limits of our understanding! We stand amazed at Your lovingkindness, compassion and mercy to all who place their hope in You. Help us to draw from Your deep well – fill us with Your words of life so that we may live the deep, fulfilling lives You have intended for us to have in You. Change our perceptions and ideas to Yours; help us to climb out of our polarized boxes of understanding, and open our eyes to Your ways far above what we can imagine! We yield our bodies and souls, our hearts and minds to Your will, Your guidance, and Your leadership. We bow to You and seek Your guidance and help in every plan and purpose. Release Your breath upon us and fill us to the utmost with Your spirit and power, that we may usher in Your kingdom and glory! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
