I Prayed have prayed
Lord God Almighty, You are so good! We give thanks and praise to You! Thank You for this miraculous healing and the encouragement it brings.

It’s easy to focus on what is wrong right now, since a whole lot really is wrong. First and foremost, people are dying at alarming rates, and the worst could still be ahead. Yet God is not sitting idly on the sidelines, watching and hoping. He is at work, as He always is, showing mercy and granting help. So, allow me to give you some good news in the midst of the storm.

Last Wednesday night, March 18, I met with 9 of our online ministry school students via Zoom. One of them, around 70-years-old herself, asked for prayer for her husband. (We’ll call her Miriam and him Bob.)

Do you know someone who has tested positive for COVID-19? Post their name on the COVID-19 Prayer Wall and hundreds of intercessors will be praying for them. Visit daily to pray for the new names posted.

He is 73-years-old. He had three previous co-morbidities, including having his respiratory system messed up because of being a cop in Manhattan on 9/11. And he had come down with COVID-19. This was serious business.

As Miriam described it, Bob “felt pretty bad for a few days with chills, fever, muscle aches and basically no energy.”

So we prayed for him as group, praying for Miriam as well, as they lived in a part of New York that had become a stronghold of the virus.

Yet nothing changed immediately, and Miriam herself was experiencing some symptoms as well. So, her pastor, an old friend of mine, prayed for her over the phone.

She describes what happened next: “I felt something lift off my face and I felt better right away. All Praise to the Lord Jesus!”

That was the first immediate answer to prayer. But there was one more to come.

Miriam wrote, “The next day, my husband Bill was 100% better. We are rejoicing and are most grateful to Jesus for His mercy towards us. We are also so grateful for you and the others who prayed for us!”

This is really good news.

Bob’s pre-existing conditions, coupled with his age, made his situation very precarious, but by the Lord, by His grace, made Him well. Thank God!

Bob and Miriam’s children are in the medical field, working in hotspot areas, and so she wrote that “we are not slackening the bow just yet. However! We are alive and well! Because He Lives, we can face the future.”

So, the battle is far from over, but one major victory has been won. Let us be thankful and encouraged.

There is also a good principle we can take from this piece of very good news. Simply stated, bad things will always be here. Really bad things. Things like sickness and war and death.

There will be suffering on this planet until Jesus comes – lots of suffering. And there will people we pray for who die.

But if we focus alone on the loss and the pain, we will quickly lose hope and become disheartened. And rather than helping others, we will find ourselves stuck in a deep rut of despair. Of what use is that? How does that alleviate our pain or the pain of others?

Instead, while recognizing the urgent needs around us, we must focus on the Lord and what He is doing. That will bring life and light and faith and hope. That will lift us up, enabling us to lift others up as well. Others need to hear good news as well.

I was reminded of this on March 24 when I sent out two tweets. The first was sobering, meant to remind us of the scope of this deadly virus while urging us not to judge.

tweeted, “In the last few days in the States, a Pentecostal pastor died of COVID-19, a cessationist pastor died of the virus, and an apostolic leader is in ICU with the virus. It attacks and kills indiscriminately. Let’s be wise, vigilant, and prayerful. Intervene with mercy, Lord!”

As of this writing, this was retweeted 28 times and liked 205 times.

The same day, I tweeted out the testimony shared here in this article: “Here’s some good news in the midst of the bad news. The husband of one of our online students, in his 70s with pre-existing conditions, came down with COVID-19, experiencing symptoms for days. The day after receiving prayer, he is 100% symptom-free and rejoicing. Thank God!”

As of this writing, this was retweeted 93 times and liked 769 times.

The takeaway is obvious. Good news is uplifting. Good news is encouraging. People want to share good news.

The Book of Proverbs even states that “good news gives health to the bones” (Proverbs 15:30). Yes, “Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land” (Proverbs 25:25).

So, let’s find some good news and let’s share it widely. Share this article! Leave a comment with something good the Lord has done during this crisis!

In a day like today, people really need to hear it.

As it is written in a very different context, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news” (Isaiah 52:7).

Let your feet be beautiful today. Bring some good news to others.

Ummm… just a thought from a scientist. Is it possible that this man got better because of his doctors? Besides that, why did your God decide to create a pandemic virus, spread it over the world, and purposely infect men like this who also have other medical issues? You say he was a cop during 911 in Manhattan? So God purposely threw two gigantic buildings on top of him trying to kill him? Your God is a monster, and it’s nice that you make a living off of deceiving the gullible.

Amen! God is always at work. He has given us a time to truly commune with Him. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 How much longer will we shut God out of our government, schools and it seems, every aspect of our lives? How long do you think he will allow us to murder babies and literally destroy this planet? Instead of blaming God, look into yourself and see your sins. Matthew 7:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. We desperately need to reach out to God, repent and stop sinning. Ask for His mercy. He created us and He wants a relationship with us. Are we going to seek His face, obey His commands and decrees? Don’t we want a relationship with our creator? He’s knocking at the door. Won’t we let Him in?

I encourage all of us, as we pray, to not keep God too small when we are praying. Keep praying the impossible and the outlandish. We can never make Him too BIG with our prayers. But WOW it sure is exciting and is a great adventure to believe He can do the impossible and How exciting it is when He does! He wants to do the impossible. He loves to show off, because of His great love. He loves it when we believe in Everything that He is!

What we fear- we empower,
BUT what we focus on – we make room for! -John Paul Jackson.

Something I want to get out there is that many people, I am one, who have been recently diagnosed with life threatening conditions and can not get care due to the regulations put on hospitals. We have to wait months until we can get the proper treament if the disease doesn’t get us first. I am telling you this that prayer is needed for people who have had to have biopsies and cancer treatment cancelled, treatmets need to diagnos and treat cancer etc. Please pray for healing for us too and that we are able to survive until treatment is possible. Praise God.

From what I’ve seen on TV and our president, God is in the process of healing our land not just physically but spiritually. My prayer partner told me that a local news network is throughout the day, in between the news, having pastors come on and read scripture and pray prayers over the airwaves. Praise the Lord for this! May it pick up speed and continue after this virus is gone. AMEN!
I also want to pray that God would send out workers to rescue children who are victims of child sex trafficking. This is a horrific practice that needs to continue to be exposed and I pray all Planned Parenthood clinics will have to shut down during this pandemic.

The point is; How are you praying? Are you coming to God as a beggar and asking him to save you from this virus? Or are you claiming your victory in Jesus name, knowing that He has already done it for you? Big difference!

Father, God may every believer understanding who they are in Christ speaking forward the Word of God. He’s our Covenant Keeping God. His promises are yes and amen in Him. The spoken Word of God in faith moves mountains in Jesus name. God watches over His Word to perform in when spoken in faith. Angels, hearken to the Word and command of the Lord.

Our Father, said he will never leave or for sake us. We have not received a spirit of fear but, love, power and a sound mind. Greater is He(Jesus)that’s in us than He that’s in the world. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead also, dwells in us. Our Words

The spoken Word of God in faith will change any situation or circumstance because the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself to acknowledge those Words in Jesus Name Amen.

What the Lord has been teaching me, even before this thing came, is that our testimony is more important than the outcome of any situation we will experience. We will not answer for the situation, but for our testimony! And we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and our testimony.

During this crisis, The Lord has given me some powerful reminders of how he prepared me for this time-

Before I even opened my eyes on the morning of Oct. 14, 2016, the first thing that popped into my head was “Station 11 People”. I strongly sensed that this was from The Lord, but had no clue what it meant, so I hit the internet. What I found seemed kind of random as it turns out that Station 11 is a 2014 novel by Emily St. John. Although I had never heard of the book, I felt led to read it and really enjoyed this well written story about a PANDEMIC. I knew God had something to tell me, but did not have a sense of fear. As it turns out, it was a word of encouragement. The plot is post pandemic in a collapsed civilization with flashbacks to life before the world was devastated by a flu. Readers follow the lives of survivors who continue to perform Shakespeare even after the crisis. They form a traveling theater company, walking from town to town with a determination to provide beauty in the midst of ashes. Long story short, one of the main characters refers to an old comic book series centered around a space colony called STATION 11. These “Station 11 People” lived in adversity and often longed for their home back on earth (just like we Christians may long for our eternal home). One leader of the comic book colony finally proclaims, “SURVIVAL IS INSUFFICIENT!” When the memory of this line comes forth, it becomes the mantra of the people in the traveling Shakespeare Company and is definitely a message for believers today. While I’m not saying that The Lord inspired this book (the Bible is referenced in relation to the crazy leader of a cult), He used it to motivate me 4 years ago and change my perspective. Sometimes God works through the things of this world to get our attention, especially when Christians become desensitized to His Word and ignore the Holy Spirit which is easy to do in our self sufficient and self absorbed society. Similarly, while we may not know for certain how Covid-19 originated, I see God using the Corona virus to get the attention of the world and to WAKE UP HIS BRIDE, as slowly our idols and false security blankets are being stripped away. How will we respond to this alarm though???

About 7 or 8 years ago I had a dream where I was sleeping soundly in the hoses on top of a fire truck that was racing through town. When I heard the sirens I started to wake up, but I was so groggy and my body and head felt heavy. Smoke blocked my view of anything but flames. WHEN OUR VIEW IS BLOCKED, WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GIVE US HIS PERSPECTIVE AND POWER TO RISE ABOVE THE SMOKE AND FLAMES. The message of the dream was to WAKE UP, because spiritually, the world is on fire! Like the gospel, The hoses on the firetruck would bring salvation to those in need, but I was keeping them to myself, using them as a bed, concerned only about my comfort! This is the time for us to rise up, and not merely survive as one escaping through the flames. (1 Cor. 3:15) Are we living for our pleasure, comfort and fleeting glory , or for Jesus, His gospel, and His eternal kingdom and glory? I pray that through the power of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us, our works will stand this test (1 Cor. 3:11-14,16) and that The Body of Christ makes the most of this opportunity to share the gospel in word and deed.

The Lord impressed upon me to make copies of Psalm 91 and when I have to go to the store at the grocery store or the doctors the person I talk to give them a copy of Psalms 91. So I’ve been doing it. I highlight verse 10 where it says no plague shall come Nye thee. I got all kinds of reactions. I look them very softly in the eyes make sure we make iContact and I said here this is for you the Lord told me to make a copy of this and give it to you. After passing out seven or eight of them I begin to feel very weird in the head I couldn’t think I was disoriented confusion set in. After seeking the Lord for a while he finally revealed to me that what was going on with me was an attack from the enemy because of the Psalm 91 that I was passing out. I was in my car at the time so I turned the radio on and started praising the Lord big-time. I started feeling it lifting. by the time I got home I was completely better. So if you do something like this put on your armor of God and be sure you use the blood of Jesus over you over the paper over the person you’re going to give this to and then just walk it out and watch God do awesome things.

    March 29, 2020

Thank you Betty, It was a real experience watching the expression on everyone’s face as I handed them that paper with Psalms 91 on it. My first person I drove to my credit union and we had to do business at the drive up window. And the business I had to do she had to ask me to pull over to the curb and wait until they got the papers ready which I did. Then I had to drive around again after the papers were done just to give her that paper so she was doubly surprised. I just showed her the paper in the window and then she opened up the drawer and I said the Lord told me to give this to you and her eyes got big and she got so excited and she said oh thank you. Some of the other people that day The clerk in the pharmacy section she kind of look like oh brother what’s this and she put it down put it down. I know she was very busy. I had to go to the post office. I don’t just hand it to them and walk away I try to say something that will get their attention and they’ll be more willing to read it oh well no it’s gods job to do what he intended to do with Psalms 91 for each of those people. I plan to do it when I go to the grocery store the next time to. Have you ever heard of treasure hunting? I forget the name of the book but it’s just really awesome to go to buy two and the Holy Spirit just comes on you such incredible ways he shows you who to talk to you in the store well that’s what I’m gonna do with the papers when I go to the grocery store just ask the Lord who he wants me to give it to you and I’m gonna walk right up to him and tell them. I’m not bashful. Now we have a responsibility of praying for those people for the seed to take hold and for God to water it. God bless you and your endeavors with the Lord and to you I say no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and no plague she’ll come nye you.😇

You know an ancient times when Moses was dealing with the Pharaoh there were plagues one right after another that came to that area and you know the one thing that kept the plagues away from the people of God? The blood the blood of the lamb swiped over the door posts. We have a door post to our hearts and across our forehead we can apply the blood of Jesus not only there over our whole body. So father in the name of Jesus I plead the blood of Jesus over this person. There’s life in the blood. And so we speak life to this person. Psalm 91 and verse 10 says no plague shall come nye thee. So I declare and decree that he has hidden in Christ and that the plague shall pass over Him because he is covered with the blood of Jesus and he is hidden in Christ. In Jesus name we pray amen.

Lord Jesus, we thank you for this healing and we ask Lord Jesus, that this would be just a first healing of many of many, healings to come!
Father we cry out together for more healings that your name would be glorified in heaven and on earth.
We pray for devine protection over our families Lord Jesus!
We declare over our selves, our Families and loved ones, in Jesus precious name, we will not encounter Covid19 but that Covid 19 will will encounter Jesus.
Lord Jesus, we crown you, over our lives and speak out and declare we will walk in wisdom but we will not be crowned with fear.
You are not the author of fear as your” perfect love” casts out all fear. 1 John 4:18
So we repent Lord Jesus for any place we have come under the crown of fear,
Jesus come and stand between this virus and your people. You are our defence and our eyes and ears are fixed on you and you alone. You are Lord Jesus our anchor in a storm.

We lift all our front line Doctors and nurses battling this virus. Lord Jesus be their Sheild!
We declare the Lordship of Jesus and the awesome revelation of who you are in this unprecedented time to many hearts and lives.
Lord Jesus in the midst of this crisis time we still declare you are with us and for us and not against us!
Move through us your body, us your Church, make your love and healing, known through us.

Oh Lord, we bring you the millions of displaced people groups that are living in refugee camps around the world. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are in prison THIS morning for sharing your Love, your Word, and your Hope with their neighbors and friends. We know that your are very present with each one of these dear folks as you promised that you would be; We do not need to ask you to be good; you ARE good and you ARE “I AM” even though our human minds have no idea how that can be so. I am “imagining” your angels posted all around the places where these folks find themselves – see Ephesians 3:20. You are High and are Lifted up! Your model prayer employs plural pronouns, not “I” and “me”!

Psalm 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

This may be just me, I am seeing differently because of a “fasting” of the busyness my life had imposed. Good things like: yummy lunches with friends, freedom to go whenever and wherever I please, including church, prayer groups and so many things and places I like and have taken for granted. These opportunities are being replaced with other good things, such as reading my Bible more consistently, spending time with my husband on long walks and actually sharing thoughts, and most importantly, praying earnest and fervent petitions to God for our Nation and leaders for sick and hurting people, most I don’t even know! I am resting more and finding peace in God’s beauty in the natural creation that continues to shout His Glory. Trees are bursting with blossoms and hope of the future, and all the delights offered by Spring. Is this Father God’s time-out for us to Be still and know God more deeply than ever.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us when we fail You. Lord everyone reading and praying today has sin in their lives, please trouble our souls that we may repent from it, whether it’s based in pride, selfishness or even a little bit (like yeast) of unbelief. Would You show us the sin, allow us to name it and repent and get back to the business of doing what You have called us to do, to share the good news of Christ Jesus to a hopeless & dying, world desperate for The Savior they dont yet know. Lord we than You for how You will use this, for what mac created as evil You WILL use for good, not just healing our land, but the lands throughout the globe. May we remember the only division in this nation is the one that separates us by our eternal destination, for we all bleed red, and we all our going to die. And let us remember that the date has already been set in stone, we just didnt know it. May we (me) use everyday as opportunity to share You love in the name of Jesus. Amen

Ps 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Ps 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Isaiah 53: 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs (sickness, diseases), and carried our sorrows (pains): yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed.

The Lord has brought people together in unprecedented ways. To HIM be the glory, honor & all praise. Our view is very limited & no matter how bleak it may appear remember God see’s THE “FULL SCENE” from Alpha to Omega {we appear to be in the middle of the biggest crisis in some of our lifetimes} But, even still we know who WINS! In the meantime Take heart MY dear ones I have overcome the 🌎. Praise God for the healing’s & all the more for those happening right now & those to come. Amen 👏

Thank You, God, for blessing me through these words posted by Jane.
A personal note:These words, from a praise song my 5-year-old twin granddaughters learned in chapel at the school they attend, have been sung for me and my husband MANY times in person, on Facetime, and on a video that my son recorded of them singing these words of blessing. We are in our mid-to-late 80’s and haven’t been in public for almost a month now. Your posted was a great affirmation for me that God is truly THE Waymaker, Miracle-Worker, Promise-Keeper, making a way for us to keep in touch with our family.

I prayed for my Christian friend, Jean, yesterday upon hearing her colonoscopy had been postponed. It was scheduled for bloody stools. Now, she will have to wait to find if it is cancer. I prayed for her Healing, Patience, and Peace. Then I was singing praise, when I started singing this Way-maker song! Hallelujah! What a gift!
She’s in her 70s caring for her husband, Craig, who has Parkinson’s.

Elaine, I am suggesting two websites that hopefully will help your friend, Jean. Both sights deal with all kinds of health problems and advise natural things to eat/drink to get rid of the health issue. The first one is: http://homehealthyrecipes.com/?s=kidney+stones&WP55T3S7XJS1=7H5W8K52HX This takes you to a page with a magnifier and search engine. Type in Colon cancer and you can choose the article that sounds good to you or at the bottom of the page click Next Page>> and continue to an article that peaks your interest. .
The other sight is entitled naturalnews.com Click on the official sight at the top of that page. It takes you to many articles. Scroll down till you get to a section that includes Herbs.com and click on that. This takes you to a site that names a health condition. Find colon cancer, click on it, and it takes you to a page with several categories; food, vitamins, etc. to help rid one of a certain health problem.
