In the commencement address at Hillsdale College in Michigan on Saturday, Vice President Mike Pence told the Class of 2018 they were joining the workforce amid “opportunity and optimism” due to growing faith in America.
“The America that awaits your energies and ambitions is experiencing a new era of opportunity and optimism,” Pence told the graduates, according to mlive.com. “You are now uniquely suited, and I believe you are uniquely called, to renew the fabric of our national life with your character and with your ideals.”
Pence also tweeted several statements from his address.
“The percentage of Americans who live out their religion on a weekly basis – by praying, going to church, and reading and believing in the Bible – has remained remarkably consistent over the decades, even as the population of the United States has grown by leaps and bounds,” he wrote.
“We live in a time when traditional values, even religious conviction, are increasingly marginalized by a secular popular culture – a time when it’s become acceptable, even fashionable, to malign religious belief. I still believe with all my heart that FAITH in America is rising,” he continued. “Religion in America isn’t receding – just the opposite. Faith is gaining new life with every passing day.”…
Responding to the vice president’s statement that faith in America is rising, Ryan Burge, an instructor of Political Science at Eastern Illinois University who specializes in religion and politics, wrote on Twitter, “He’s not completely wrong…. A poll by The Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation last year showed that about half of all Americans say a prayer over their food at least a few times a week.
Rural and urban Americans, Northerners and Southerners, Catholics and Protestants, Democrats and Republicans, all say grace, though to varying degrees, revealed the poll of 1,686 American adults. (Excerpts from Anugrah Kumar article in The Christian Post)

Heavenly Father, Thank You for hearing the strong message Ed wrote. Father, he has spoken many truths. Your people need to stand strong and be courageous in the face of all the adversity that we face in this world. May You enlighten the pastors of the churches to preach Your Word in Spirit & Truth with signs and wonders following. The church needs Your Power to flow through it again. We are wound warriors & we need Your healing touch.
Thank You for Vice President Pence and his wife Karen. May they continue to be bold for You. I ask You to send Your angels to protect them and their whole family as they take this stand for You. Please give them peace and wisdom as they serve You. Thank You VP Pence works closely with Pres. Trump. May they continue to seek Your face as they influence the United States and the world in ways that glorify You. Amen
Unless the church turns around, going to church WILL NOT HELP YOU: President Trump has accepted his calling to lead the nation, church, and bring in the awakening. Now it is time for the church to repent and do her part, & follow Pres. Trump, to be part of the coming Renaissance:
1. Repent of opposing the cross, & instead preach overcoming, sanctification, and what bearing your cross means, which is the power of God unto salvation. Take up the original mandate from God Almighty, “Take Dominion over the Earth,” so that the church without spot or wrinkle can form, and Jesus can return in His people. Cast out the false apostles without miracles, which should be the proof of apostleship. 2 Cor 12:12 Indeed, the signs that indicate a [genuine] apostle were performed among you fully and most patiently in miracles and wonders and mighty works. 2. Preach the gospel, the power of God Almighty unto all the earth, which is Jesus’ kingdom on earth identical to heaven. This is only “Good News,” to walk as Jesus did in his physical body. To do this the church must repent of sin, as in division, unbelief, powerlessness, and deception. 2 TIM 3:5 THOSE HAVING THE FORM OF THE AWE [FEAR] OF GOD, BUT ARE FAR REMOVED FROM HIS POWER. THOSE WHO ARE THUS TRUST THEM OUT FROM YOU. [HEBRAIC ROOTS BIBLE]
3. Finally the church must return to the “Great Commission,” Matt. 28:19, to make disciples, of all nations, and repent of from making converts and then aborting these new baby Christians [this has authorized abortion in the world, & the church has had no power over it.]; an evangelist doesn’t have the expertise or calling to disciple. This requires that Everyone in the church participate in the reconstruction & return the entire body of Christ to its original teachings, that is everyone must participate [this means no more lay people laying around, looking for a king to rule over them]: 1 Cor 14:26 What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. ASV/
