We are facing a spiritual adversary that seeks to twist and contort the ways of God and block the flow of God’s Spirit at work in our nation. Even as many of our God-fearing officials are trying to make good decisions in national governance, the enemy continues to obstruct the way and block the advance. Whether it’s misrepresenting those who seek to do good or twisting the facts to suit a dark agenda, those who are opposed to righteous rule in this land continually undermine the purposes of God.
The Apostle Paul dealt with a similar adversary when he was trying to appeal to the secular rulers in Cyprus (Acts 13:4-12). A magician, called Elymas, was trying to obstruct the word of the Lord, and Paul confronted him. “…filled with the Holy Spirit, (Paul) looked intently at him and said, ‘You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord?’” (v. 10 ESV).
Paul perceived the scheme of the enemy to twist and contort the truth and bound this spirit from further operation. Elymas was struck blind and had to be led around by others for a time. Because of this powerful demonstration of the Lord, the proconsul believed Paul’s word (v. 12)! Paul took his stand as a believer and declared that God’s ways would no longer be made crooked.
The picture that comes to mind is that of a garden hose that becomes knotted up. When there’s even one twist in the hose it will greatly diminish the flow of water coming out the other end. Until the knots and twists are straightened, the line is restricted and blocked. This illustrates what happens spiritually when the enemy seeks to twist and distort God’s intentions so that our prayers aren’t answered. The life flow of God’s Spirit is cut off because the line is so crooked.
The good news is that the power of the Holy Spirit can come to straighten out every twist and crook in the line. When a hose is unkinked and the water comes through at full force, the hose is so full of pressure that anything previously stuck in the hose will be expelled. This is what will happen when we pray for the truth and power of the Holy Spirit to come. We can declare that the truth and power of God’s Word will put pressure on the enemy to dislodge his lies, his schemes, his strategies, and every obstacle he has tried to put in our way!
In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:6)
Through our prayers, we can decree that the CROOKED PATHS WILL BE MADE STRAIGHT. Pray that things will come into alignment with God’s plans and purposes and all our steps will be ORDERED of the Lord: The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand. (Psalm 37:23-24)
Through our faith-filled intercession, we can agree with God’s pathway for our future, confident that it will be made straight and clear of any and every hindrance. As we see the ways where our spiritual adversary is twisting and contorting the truth, we can declare that the crooked be made straight and every obstacle be removed. That which is blocked and unable to move forward will be forcefully released as the prayers of God’s people rush through the national pipeline of prayer.
Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth. The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (Isaiah 40:4-5 NKJ)

God chose Nebuchadnezzar as His “servant”, Jeremiah 27:6 to accomplish His purposes; God also chose Cyrus the Great, who may or may not have been a moral leader; Isaiah 45:1 “This is what the Lord says to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him . . .” Whether one approves or disapproves of President Trump, they are faced with one question, “whom would YOU choose?” After seeing IFA’s post, “Sing A Little Louder”, A follower of Christ CANNOT vote for anyone who stands with the Democratic Party, because they will one day face Jesus and answer for the millions of innocent babies they “helped” send to their deaths.
Lord, bring our nation in alignment with Your will. Make the crooked paths straight, the evil, perverse, the wrong ways turn around, be straightened out to go Your way. Direct those who are on the wrong path to the path of righteousness. Guide them along straight paths, to walk in Your ways, the good, pleasant, peace, loving, honest, praiseworthy ways! Ways that bring You honor, praise & glory!

FATHER I pray for the people in Washington and those that are crooked to open their eyes to see your work and your Mighty HANDS on All that’s happening so far inside closed doors. Make your path STRAIGHT! You see and know the TRUTH; nothing is HIDDEN from You! Help us! Father, only you can fix the distorted words from the liars in D.C; bring Justice to the innocent people that have being destroyed by their lies! Continue protecting President Trump, The Vice President Pence, their families and staff to continue giving them strength and guidance! Expose the Media, one at a time! Wisdom and protection to those that are reporting the truth with your Shield! Protect our Troops and bring them HOME; where they belong! God Blessed The USA 🇺🇸!! In Jesus name I pray! Amen!
I fail to understand that this, being a prayer channel to God for change, is always about Mr. Trump being misused and misunderstood. God is Sovereign and what He calls sin is sin. We don’t. Mr. Trump calls people out of their names, uses profanity, mocks someone with a disability, talks down the Veterans, when he never served our country in any military branch. These things are sin, according to God’s Word. We do not do Mr. Trump any service when we wink at these things and KNOW that GOD will hold him accountable. The Bible tells us that we” should guard our hearts, for out of it flow the issues of life. It is what comes OUT OF a man’s mouth that defile him.” Do you truly believe that because Mr. Trump is President of the United States, God thinks what he says and does is ok? God does not contradict Himself. I have never seen anywhere in the Bible that God plays favorites. Love Mr. Trump? Pray that he will change his ways. Let him know that whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. There is NO EXCEPTION.
Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners. Oh Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are our judge and justifier. We thank You that You are Sovereign and You use whom You call to accomplish all Your will. Thank You Lord that You are separating the tares from the wheat and we pray for our Brothers and Sisters that have been so blinded by the media that they fail to see the heart of men You have raised up to protect our lives, liberties and pursuit of happiness based on the principles of our Creator and His Word. Lord may You alone provide for our daily bread that we partake of, may we remove the logs from our own eyes before casting judgement on others, may we forgive as we have been forgiven, and would You deliver is from the temptation of taking others opinions and agendas as fact without seeking and asking You to show us truths even when those truths go against what is self evident. May Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven and may our leaders no longer desire to enact laws against Your natural law for the benefit of their personal gain. In Jesus name we ask that our prayers be as a fragrant aroma, and be pleasing to You, our Most Gracious God. Amen

So, respectfully, Jacquelyn Miller, what is painfully clear is that you fail to understand that our God can use anyone he chooses to use for His purposes! Let’s see, he used a donkey in Numbers 22 and he used a pagan King Nebuchadnezzar (who worshiped the Babylonian god), Marduk and God even called him “His servant”! “Even Jesus” told John who complained about others driving out devils because “they are not one of us” that if they are not against us, they are for us! Need I say more? Our God can use anyone, anywhere, anytime He chooses to accomplish His plan! Besides, America didn’t elect a “pastor”, we elected a “God chosen” fighter to take on the “deep state” criminals or as more officially known as “draining the swamp”. People such as yourself need to pay attention to what President Trump has done to “protect” Christians and our religious freedoms and freedom of speech, not to mention all he is doing to protect Americans by cracking down on corruption, human trafficking, drug trafficking, pedophilia and MS13 gangs!!! He will be re-elected and he will go down as one of the greatest (if not the greatest) presidents in our lifetime and also he will be known as the “law and order” president! Tell me, why do you think over 20 people have been removed from the FBI and DOJ? Because of all the corruption!!! But the most important thing he’s doing, the most important thing to our God is what he is doing to “save the children”! Some ugly, evil stuff will be revealed soon. America (those who aren’t paying attention) are going to be shocked at the stuff that comes out that the politicians, CEO’s, Hollywood and very elite of our nation have been engaging in! God has said “enough”!!! He put someone in office who can fight! Just look at the onslaught that has been launched against him since the day he came down the escalator in 2015 and announced he was running. But, he’s never once waivered or flinched at his God-given agenda! With respect and love I say to you, Jacquelyn and those who think as you do, that you need to prayerfully consider all things going on before you pass judgement and do your research before you comment and influence others incorrectly. Pray for our president and our leaders as instructed in God’s Word, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim.2) God bless you; God bless our beloved President Trump and God bless the USA!
Again, I repeat; WHAT GOD CALLS SIN IS SIN . I know that we are to pray for those in authority over us, but at the same time, we, as Christians, are to recognize those things that are not of God. We are consecrated, set apart, and are not to embrace sin. We have been changed, and we are to let our lights shine so that men may see our GOOD WORKS and glorify God. I am not mistaken when I hear the very words come from the President’s mouth. I am not judging the President. I will let the Word of God do that. What does confuse me is why is it ok for President Trump to do those things and many scriptures are used to excuse his behavior, but when the same things are done by someone else, they are the worse people in the world. I am told that he, too, is a Christian. Thanks for your input. We should be allowed to voice our opinions without any problems. Those who favor the President’s behavior should receive the same respect as those who do not. THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT!
I have sometimes wondered about God’s thoughts on Pres Trump & his attacking Deep State, media, etc., until i heard Dr Francis Myles prophecy after he asked the Lord “Why did you put Donald Trump in the White House.” The Lord said he’s using Pres Trump, He made him a billionaire & “Brash.” He used to hang with the so called Elites-the Clintons, etc. Pres Trump knew about their evil deeds & he hates what they’ve done to our country. They view him as a snitch!! He loves America & us, the American people. He will do everything in his power to undo the evil! God knows what he’s doing. He put Donald Trump in the White House for such a time as this! Better to Not speak against His anointed!
Truly, is Donald Trump God’s anointed? Please answer me. He is a leader of the greatest country in the world, all by the GRACE OF GOD! People are watching him and listening to him all the time. What he says and what he does leaves a great impression. We, as followers of Christ, and Donald Trump, I am told, are living epistles. People are reading our lives all the time. Would you say that your pastor is anointed and sent by God? Would you accept his behavior if he used profanity in his preaching? Would you allow your children to be taught by someone who had no regard for holding his tongue? You have your opinion and I have mine. Thanks be to God who will reveal all truth in His Time.

YES!!! Just got my copy; reading it now!!! Also recommend all of Rick Renner’s books and his Sparkling Gems in the Greek! He is an awesome Greek scholar who pastors a church in Moscow. His teachings are so simple and child can understand and it’s so wonderful to read the context of the Bible through his teaching!
Came to mind vividly ; those outside the wall who were hungry and hopeless. They felt, why not, and went o the enemy camp andfound disarray and the dead. They ate their fill, gathered the spoils and ran back to the fortress to tell all the enemy was totally defeated. Hallelujah, Amen..
I don’t know if you realize this or not but I am unable to share your pages on facebook. I have heard of other Christian groups being blocked on facebook too. I don’t get a message saying it is blocked, it just doesn’t appear on my page that I have posted it.
We come against Planned Parenthood in MN trying to insert in school curriculum at the 4th grade level horrible subject matter and opinions about crude sexual concepts and ungodly perverted thoughts. We pray in Jesus name schools will not think it is their position to teach about sex. Amen
