The American Bible Society has now given away 8,800 Bibles around the world to Kanye West fans in less than two weeks – for free.
After the megastar released his new album “Jesus is King,” the society saw a large spike in Google searches like “What does Kanye believe?”
The album hit number one across the major music genres, with each song landing in Billboard’s Hot 100. Kanye has rocked the entertainment world by openly sharing his radical faith transformation and helping to lead thousands to Christ in the process.
The American Bible Society promised to send a free Bible to any curious Kanye fan that wanted to learn more about his decision to follow Christ.
At first, the offer was for 1,000 free Bibles until October 30, but the demand was so strong the society has extended the offer until November 22.
“No matter what you think about Kanye’s politics, art, or faith, there’s no denying that his comments and album have sparked a huge wave of curiosity and interest,” said Robert Briggs, interim president and CEO at American Bible Society.
“We love it when these topics emerge in the news cycle and are excited to be able to share the Bible with the curious – no matter their background, interest level or motivation.”
The ministry’s purpose is to provide Bibles to people who may be seeking spiritual answers.

Could this be the beginning of a revival amongst those who would not even consider becoming a Christian?
I lived through the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the 70’s and 80’s. No one expected it. But God moved in a mighty and powerful way amongst those especially who thought they knew it all.
What a mighty and imaginative and creative God we have who knows just the right way to touch those He loves!

I hope so a true revival is from God not anything a man can plan.

Father we are so grateful for Kanye West, your man to reach what for the established church would be impossible. We praise You for this man and the passion he has accepted from You to enrich himself, his family and his followers. A modern day disciple who doesn’t fit the established norm. Your ways are not our ways and we say Great is Our God and His Ways are higher than our ways. His love endures forever to all and You come to visit the hardest hearts with a spark from heaven’s treasures…have Your way in millions and millions around the world from this yielded vessel in Jesus’ holy name.
Amen! Thank you Lord for touching the heart of Kanye and speaking your Word to him. Use him to speak to those who need to hear your Word and sing your praises. Thank you Lord Jesus.
Father, We rejoice over all the ways that you are drawing the young people to your Word of life. We believe your promise that your word never returns void but it accomplishes what you send it out to do. Please open their eyes of understanding and draw them into relationship with you father.
Father we lift each of these decisions made to You, for it is by Your blood alone that our sins our covered. Oh Sovereign Lord, I pray for these individuals to read Your Holy Word for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives, that they would choose to separate themselves from a life of bandage to sin and darkness and instead invite You to Lord ove their lives. Father, we pray for a new generation to be holy for You are holy. We pray they not confuse religion and man made acts or deeds with having a relationship with You. May they search for a church home (may there even be available) a church where the word of God is preached expositionally and is considered to be infallible and inerrant. May we be bold to testify the power of Gospel unto salvation, the power is Yours alone, and may we live by faith as a witness to the world, training and equipping to stand for Your ways, for Your righteousness for it is a Spiritual battle and we know the One that won the battle for our souls, and may You see us to completion. Come Lord Jesus come, come quick, do not delay, and in Jesus name we pray You make our salvation sure and in the lives of those considering their decisions for Christ. Amen
Father God, thank you for revealing our Savior to Kanye and to those who follow him. I pray for salvation through Jesus Christ and revelation knowledge of your Word into every heart and soul that receives a bible. I thank you for renewing their minds to the mind of Christ one step at a time. I thank you for the healing of souls; that every mind, will and emotion line up with yours Lord Jesus. Make us all more like you.

Lord I pray that those who gave their lives to You will find a church family that preaches the Bible in context and encourages discipleship to new believers. Thank you for the generous giving of Bibles. Lord may many of those who gave their lives to Christ continue to grow, strengthen their faith and share their testimonies with others. In Jesus name I ask. Amen
Father God, I also want to pray over each Bible that has been given out. We pray that the recipients would hunger and thirst for Your truth as they read. Open up their minds to understand and especially their hearts to receive Jesus. We pray that as they receive this gift of a Bible, the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ, would be made manifest to them in their understanding. This is an entire unreached people group. May Your Spirit draw them into the Word and to give their lives to You.
Amen and Amen! Father God, we pray an anointing over every one of those Bibles that will cause people to hunger and thirst for reading Your Word.
Father God, How we thank You for touching this young man’s heart with the gospel of Jesus Christ! May his willingness to share what You have done for him bring about a revival in the hearts of those who like his music and who hear about his conversion to faith in You. We pray that You would guard his heart so that it will be pure and true to You. Protect and grow his faith in You. Keep him from those who would exploit this new tender faith. We pray that You would bless his testimony to reach countless young people that may be hearing about Jesus Christ for the first time and certainly in a way they have not before. Bring about a great harvest of souls through this testimony. Bring alongside Kanye those with pure hearts who will disciple him. Give Kanye a deep hunger for Your word. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen
