Thank God for the profound critique by Justice Ginsburg of the highly partisan hearing of Judge Kavanaugh. Pray for a return to a proper, constitutional vetting of nominated judges and justices.

“After several days of showboating and judicial hazing, Democrats pulled out their biggest weapon against Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh: a . . . woman claiming sexual misconduct in high school. . . .
In the meantime, 65 women who have known Kavanaugh since his high school years signed a letter addressed to both Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) and Feinstein affirming Kavanaugh’s good character.
“In particular, he has always treated women with decency and respect,” the letter said. “That was true when he was in high school, and it has remained true to this day.”
So here we are debating an adolescent boy’s qualifications to become a Supreme Court justice. What’s next, his potty training?
Even Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is displeased with the way Kavanaugh has been treated by the Senate. Speaking Wednesday at George Washington University Law School, a day before Feinstein disclosed the letter, Ginsburg called the Kavanaugh hearings “a highly partisan show.” She recalled both her own and Justice Antonin Scalia’s “truly bipartisan” hearings in better days.
After she was nominated to the Supreme Court in 1993 by President Bill Clinton, Ginsburg was confirmed in two months by a vote of 96 to 3 . Scalia, whom she described as “certainly a known character,” was confirmed unanimously. “Every Democrat and every Republican voted for him,” she said.
“That’s the way it should be. . . . The Republicans move in lockstep, and so do the Democrats. I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it go back to the way it was,” said the 85-year-old jurist.
Brava, Madam Justice, brava.
Clearly, both political parties are responsible for the highly partisan show now taking place, but Democrats currently lead what appears to be a race to outdo the other in bad form. A lower point is hard to imagine.
Bipartisanship (and fairness) may be forever beyond our reach, but we should at least be aware of our participation in this dismal prospect. There is a way back to the better times of which Ginsburg spoke, though it will require great courage and character to confirm the highly qualified Kavanaugh with a bipartisan vote.

Patty, i wanted to add to your info: the day before we watched Judge Kavanaugh be eviscerated in front of us, an arch of Baal was erected in Washington DC.
Lord God, i am sorry a physical representation of the horror of abortion (as if mangled little bodies were not enough) had to come to our nations capital to wake us up to the clock ticking that our nations days are numbered should we fail to repent and turn from our wicked ways. Lord, hear our cries to you, help us to honor you as we should. Be our champion still dear Lord, be patient still regarding our many frailties. Susan, I don’t know where you get your information, I’m guessing MSNBC or CNN, but it is sadly lacking. John McCain was a traitor to America. His irresponsibke actions killed 134 sailors on the USS Forestal, he broadcast propaganda during Vietnam War for his captors as a POW. He stopped families from finding POW/MIAs when they were searching for answers, he worked with ISIS (pictures are on the internet) and voted against repealing Obamacare. He was involved heavily in the false dossier in the DNC/HRC scandal to falsely accuse Pres. Trump of Rusdian collusion when it was the dems colluding with China and Russia for money. I think you might begin to see the other side if you are objective enough to see it. Suggest you consider other sources for information. The MSM all read from the same script.

Thank you Lord for this article, i laughed out loud at “potty training”. Lord God, my laughter reminded me that you are soverign still, that our justice system is broken and you warned us that if we turned from you this would happen. Now we in unison as your children can only raise up this broken justice like a broken toy and say,”Daddy, please fix it”. But beyond this, Lord, for YOUR Names sake, bring this country back to the place where we reflected your glory and spread your gospel unto the world. I plead the blood of Christ over the hearing Thursday and the vote, and i plead the blood of Christ over all proceedings on Washington Hill…may the power of the Enemy be broken Lord God…not because we deserve it, we do not, but for your glory. Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” We are a spirit that has a body for living in and influencing this world. Let’s take our fight up to the level that controls the hearts and minds of our senators.
We have a choice: Either we stay above the fray regarding Judge Kavanagh and trust in our Lord or we chose to enter the fray and wallow in the mud with those that want to force upon us the will of man. I encourage ALL IFA supporters to focus our efforts in calling upon the Lord to intercede into this spiritual warfare and protect Judge Kavanagh physically and spiritually. Let us that Truth will prevail and that lies and deceit will be exposed for all the world to see. This is the Lord’s fight if we let Him. Let us call upon Him to fight this battle for the welfare of America.

There was a Values Voters Summit last week. Ben Carson spoke. He is living above the Kavanaugh issue and seeing what he thinks is the bigger picture: The left has control of the education system and the media. The Supreme Court may be snatched from them if God wills it! Mr. Carson thinks this may be about the socialist movement that is about to be thwarted! Ben Carson feels the behavior of the left is that of citizens acting like “wet hornets”! It does make sense. Ms. Ford’s lawyers are buddies of George Soros. We know all about Mr. Soros’s agenda! “God have mercy. How long will George Soros be allowed to play havoc in our country? Please expose this “swamp creature” who you love, dear Jesus! Let Americans know exactly who he is! Jesus would your remove this man’s heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh that You can speak to by the power of your Holy Spirit? in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

The democrats have definitely reached a new low on this one! They will stoop to anything to delay this process. Many snakes left in the swamp that needs much more cleansing! Very interesting that Ford does not recall where the location was of this incident. Neither does anyone else simply because it did NOT happen. How much is she being paid by Soros and Feinstein?

I pray for the truth to be made known concerning the sexual accusations made against him. Father, we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem us from our sin.

The Republicans were just as obnoxious over Obama’s pick. When a judge reached that high a level in the practice of law, he has no choice but to follow the law. That is why any President’s pick, even if you can’t stand him, should be ratified as soon as possible. Why waste time on obstructing polical process when you know full well that a Presidential pick is going to be the top knotch lawyers who by their position, must follow the law? Oh I forget, both parties are too busy lying about each other’s character to even think about helping the Supreme Court to get things done. The media doesn’t have to make up stories about Trump’s mean spirited words. I don’t blame John McCain’s family for not allowing Trump at his funeral. Trump can’t even leave the dead alone. He even didn’t want to leave the flag at half staff and never apologized for the evil things he has said about McCain and everybody else who doesn’t fit his standards. Shame on Fundamentalist Christians for allowing Trump to bully everyone because he tells them he is a “Christian” now and supports Israel.
The 9th Command tells us NOT to make false witness against our neighbor. I think Christine will excuse herself because the witness in the room didn’t see one thing she said and Navanaugh said it didn’t happen. Her attorneys are buddies of Soros. Note that the. Accuser now demands that the FBI must investigate her allegations before she appears before the Senators to testify. This is a blatant attempt to learn what if any allegations the FBI learns during their investigation so that she can tailor her testimony accordingly. The FBI will not be investigating. If they did, they would probably find out that Mitt’s mother (a judge) approved the reposition of their home. Bitterness knows no time limits. I’m standing with Navanaugh!
