A square in the central Israel city of Petah Tikvah will be named after President Donald Trump, the city’s mayor announced.
Rami Greenberg said Monday that he decided to name the square adjacent to City Hall for the US president because of “his unqualified support for the State of Israel,” The Jerusalem Post’s sister Hebrew newspaper,Maariv reported.
The square will be dedicated officially on July 4, Greenberg said. The mayor said he will invite the U.S. ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, government ministers and public figures.
Last month, Netanyahu said he would name a new community on the Golan Heights after the president to thank him for recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the territory.

We who love the Lord our God should be so happy that our President Donald Trump is being honored by so many in Israel. And our prayers for him are so needed in the times and seasons we are in right now. I pray that Papa God will continue to lead and guide him by his Holy Spirit and that he will receive godly counsel so he can make the decisions that are right in the eyes of God for the “United States of America” United we stand, divided we fall. Praise the Lord! We have a President who has the wisdom to stand firmly with Israel and the Jewish people. The Word of God says “I will bless those who bless thee and curse those who curse thee”, Genesis 12:3. Now, bless President Trump with favor in every area of his life and bless this nation as we stand with “the apple of God’s eye, Israel”! Hallelujah!
