I Prayed have prayed

Christians in public schools have been under siege and afraid to express any expression of our faith. This self-induced fear came as we watched our friends and neighbors suffer consequences of lawsuits by offended minorities, intimidation for expression of faith, and reprimands from school authorities. These adverse actions followed the 1962 Supreme Court ruling removing prayer from the classroom. The benign prayer known as the Regent’s Prayer was the offense. The simple prayer said, “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon thee, and we beg Thy blessing upon us, our parents, our teachers, and our country.” Afraid of retribution, the Christian resolve and influence faded into non-existence. On the outside, we watched as the institution of public schools year after year failed in its ability to educate our nation’s students to the pre-Regent’s Prayer standards.

On Thursday, January 16, 2020, President Trump busted the anti-prayer bubble of open resistance to expression of faith, when he reissued the prayer directives set forth mainly under President Clinton, and last issued in 2003 under President Bush. President Trump added nothing to the already existing directives, but what he did was spiritually significant. In the past, directives were issued from the State Department of Education and distributed to every public school board across the nation, where they quickly found their way to perhaps a slight mention in a school board meeting, but no notice was given to parents or the students. Basically, the directives were ignored and round-filed. That’s what was set to happen this time, except President Trump had an “intervention!” He said, “I want to have a press conference in the Oval Office and make the announcement.” The President gathered teachers and students around him who had experienced negative reactions on occasions when they had openly expressed faith within the public school arena. Instead of being ignored, major news outlets picked up the story and made the proclamation spread across the country like wildfire. No more reliance on weak-willed school boards to pass the information along to the parents.

Having been involved for over a year in an intercessory group that prays once a week for the Department of Education. I can tell you this one event was an absolute miracle and was pushed forward in prayer at every step of the way!

William Wilberforce, who is credited with a major moral change in England in the late 1700s, convinced King George to sign an edict declaring England a moral nation. At the time, England was steeped in child labor, slavery, and almost every vice known to man. The first-year King George signed the edict, the public exposure it received was minimal. Realizing no change in the country, Wilberforce asked the King to issue the same edict the second year. This time Wilberforce distributed a copy of the edict to every church in England and asked that the Clergy read the edict the same time it was read in the House of Commons. What happened was a miracle. The people across the country begin a process of transformation as the Clergy encouraged their congregants to live lives of holiness and service. England was forever changed.

President Trump has given us each of us as Christians an infusion of boldness to stand up in the face of opposition.

Let’s pray Acts 28:31: “Now we proclaim the kingdom of God and teach about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!”

Encourage your friends and family to exercise the religious freedom we have to pray in schools–share this article.

Let’s pray Acts 28:31: “Now we proclaim the kingdom of God and teach about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!”

Encourage everyone you talk to, to have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We must count our blessings as we are truly blessed by our Lord and Savior. Don’t allow a day to pass without sharing even the simplest words like, “God bless you”. We are given many opportunities to change the atmosphere all around us by proclaiming the Word of God and sharing the love Jesus has poured into our hearts. Heavenly Father protect our Nation, protect us as Your Children for we are called by our names from Your Mighty Voice. I love You and praise You for all that You are in my life and in this world that You created. Keep Your Hedge of Protection around us Lord and our enemies under Your feet. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray. Amen

Who will teach the little children to pray? This word made me weep! I recently surveyed churches in my area and found only two churches that held weekly prayer meetings; many churches didn’t even hold a Sunday evening service. Last year I attended a prayer meeting and my small group included a man, his wife and daughter who were Believers but who had never attended a prayer meeting before and told me that they didn’t know how to pray. How sad! “LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY” Muslim children are taught to pray–WAKE UP CHURCH! If YOU don’t teach your people to pray, and if they don’t teach their children . . . .

There is so much noise everywhere. The Lord says “Be still and know that I am God.” I pray that we’d have great discernment and stay very close to our Lord and allow Holy Spirit to guide us! Study Holy Spirit! You’ll be amazed. May we all be prepared for the coming days. Lets all know the whole bible. Thank God for His mighty angels that are waiting for us to give them direction through the word. What is on the surface in the news, well there’s a whole lot else going on and our prophets are speaking. God will shake everything that can be shaken, in the world, in the church and in us! Blessings One and All!

God is in control. Job 12:9-10 Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breathe of all mankind. Psalm 138:3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stout-hearted Psalm 27:13 I am confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Lord I thank you and praise You for President Trump being part of the prayer team. For a President who has boldness, courage and has wise counsel to accomplish Your will. Lord I pray for repentance and turning from our wicked ways in America so You will heal our Land. I pray that every tongue and every person would be invited by the Holy Spirit to profess Jesus Christ as Lord and accept Him. I pray for repentance and revival to break forth in the Church and spread through this land. May Your will be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thank You Lord for Your mercy and Grace that is new every morning and GREAT is Your faithfulness. In Jesus name. Amen

Amen! Kirk Cameron, David Barton, Dave Meyer (husband of Joyce Meyer), Kenneth Copeland, Andrew Wommack, and many others have spoken about America’s founding fathers and our religious heritage. Obama stood in Washington DC and proclaimed that “America is no longer a Christian nation” and look how quickly America has declined since then. We praise God for Trump brining is back to what we were founded on.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Yes, this scripture, which is conditional, needs to take place but unfortunately there are millions, even some clergy, who are in church every week who are clueless as to the actual condition of our country. They NEED TO WAKE UP and join the ranks of believers who are in the battle for our country, our president, the Constitution of these United States of America, etc. HELP LORD, HELP…………………

Theocracy: Every government is predicated on precepts that reflect their world view, which by definition is a religious foundation::
Merriam-Webster: re·li·gion /rəˈlijən/ noun
1. a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.
The USA government is predicated on Old Testament laws, tempered with the New Testament principles of Jesus! After Reagan’s term in office, their was a divergence from a Jesus centered Theocracy to a man centered official government approved religion called Humanism, followed by a further divaricating into the religion of Atheism, Socialism, homosexuaIism, Gaia or Mother Earth Worship, and even Mid Eastern religion. However Jesus being the foundation of our “Constitutional Republic” & even the “Federalist Papers,” we must return to our original theocracy, where the government/state is divided from the 1st Amendment power of the church [the real Thomas Jefferson of division of Church & State]. A return to a government centered in the creator of the universe, which is Jesus, the highest form of governing in the world [far above all others], which made America the number one economy on the earth, that is until the religion of Humanism eclipsed it, and we began the downward cycle of entropy, fast becoming 3rd world county. Now we have an apostle in the white house and a hope [a spiritual excitement and expectation greatness again] of returning to Jesus as a nation.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. From John Adams to Massachusetts Militia, 11 October 1798
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.1 John Adams
