I Prayed have prayed

As we celebrate this Memorial Day and honor those who have fought for our freedom, let us also remember the One who won our eternal victory on the cross. The war He won secured for us an authority to stand in His Presence that is far more powerful than we realize. Be encouraged by His words to those who have been on the battlefield of life:

I am calling out to My prayer warriors and leaders who have been faithfully praying in the midst of battle. I have seen your perseverance and your resolve for breakthrough. I know your heart to please Me and stand for what is true and right.

But, I see the weariness. I see the fatigue and feel the weight you carry in your hearts and in your prayers. Though there may be seasons of warfare, you were not created to live there. I want to show you a better way. There is no glory in battle. The glory I long to display is best poured out in the reality of My goodness.  It is time to step out of your warfare mentality and into My Presence reality.

From the beginning of time, I have shown the power of My Presence to displace and overcome every foe and enemy that would come against you. I have given you the template for seeing the enemy not only defeated, but routed and utterly removed from your midst. For I do not call you to fight. I never have. I already fought for you and the battle has already been won. All I’ve ever asked of you – is to stand. Stand in My Presence and see the deliverance I have already won for you.

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. (2 Chronicles 20:17a)

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith. (1 Peter 5:8-9a)

Do not allow the voices in your head to have sway and get you to engage in a war that’s over. The seeming battle is a smokescreen – an illusion of power and control that uses deception to manipulate and coerce a reaction. What you see in the natural realm – the turmoil, chaos, and confusion – is the acting-out of a vanquished foe that will never relent in his attempts to bring you down. He wants you to engage him. He wants to get you sidetracked with warfare tactics and battle plans. He wants you to fight, knowing he’s already lost. Don’t fall for it. My plan was already accomplished at the cross and the same resurrection power that brought me back from the grave is alive and well in you. It is this power that I call you to stand in as you face the ongoing assaults and attacks.

My Presence has always been the secret weapon of My people. Throughout biblical history, the greatest victories came because of My Presence, not because of man’s skills at warfare. It was My Presence that freed My people from Egypt and led them through the wilderness. It was My Presence that parted the waters of the Jordan enabling them to claim their inheritance. It was My Presence that defeated the armies that came against Jehoshaphat as they faced the enemy with shouts of victory. It was My Presence that fell in the Upper Room and empowered the saints to do what was humanly impossible. It is My Presence that opens prison doors, breaks off chains, and delivers a nation.

The power of My Presence does what no army, no government, and no strategic plan could ever do. My goodness is the essence of My Presence and it is this reality that I long for the world to see, to know, and to experience. Know that as you seek this place of My Presence, everything else will come into alignment and submission to the Father’s will and purpose. My Presence in and through you will shift atmospheres and bring supernatural transformation to everything around you. When you war in My Presence you only need stand. It is there you will find victory; it is there My glory will be seen.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. (Isaiah 63:9 ESV)

I get it! Now I understand Tony’s admonition to “Stand.” Thank you, thank you, what a lift! I was overwhelmed with where to prioritize prayers and this message recovered the ground the enemy was eating away. I will share it. Adrain Rogers said “Most people put on the Armor but don’t show up for the battle.” We have been growing in knowing our Father’s attributes and His Ways (Ex 33:13) as we meet weekly to study the Torah with worship in praise. It has blessed us to draw closer to our Fathering Creator Whose intended desire from Eden was for intimate fellowship with His children. Thank you for recalling to us the Victor and the Victory.

You’ve just redeemed “the news” for me. I’ve tuned out to basically everything because I dont know how to engage from a heavenly mindset, this post just changed all of that.
Thankyou.

Thank you for the overwhelming love and confirmation that Jehovah Shamah is our God “Who is There” for us and He is enough!!! That He is also our Jehovah Jirah and thus the Provider of His Presence. Because of His Shalom I can even now have peace in rejoicing in the midst of a world that has gone insane. It has been hard to persevere and to pray when good seems to be evil and evil seems not only acceptable but even now called good. Thank you faithful, sister Wanda for sharing these encouraging and undoubtedly Holy Spirit inspired prophetic words of encouragement for us to persevere. God will bless you.

I struggled somewhat with this message today when someone read it in our congregation. The reason I struggled is because I have felt the Lord calling me to “fight”. I have been passive. But the Lord has lately been encouraging me back to praise and worship which are weapons of our warfare against the enemy’s tactics and influences. The Lord dwells in the midst of the praises of His people. So true praise and worship (in His Spirit and in Truth) is also a from of warring causing the enemy to flee. I think I understand the spirit of the message given, but I would like to see more balance from the scriptures…such as: 2 Corinthians 10:4. It’s the Lord who will tell us in each situation when to ‘stand’. Paul knew well the victory of Calvary and yet he spoke of our warfare…that we do not war according to the flesh. But war we must! Daily. Perhaps I am nor fully understanding the message, but I do see these days as particularly fraught with deception so in this I have to say: ‘Fight the good fight of faith’. Wield the sword of the Spirit… God’s word….by His Spirit. “We WAR not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds”.

We may be saying the same thing but viewing the part we have in the warfare differently. It IS a Spiritual Battle!!!And our weapons are Spiritual: “pray in the Spirit” and “Sword of the Spirit” are the reminders of that so they must be fought in Gods strength while depending on the Word and on God through prayer.
Praise & Worship should not be confused as a weapon of our own making and certainly not as a “works” method” , but rather as a natural “fruit” of our relationship to Christ. The battle is the Lord’s and remember, God is our Father, we are His children.
The Sword is God’s Word. So while we have been given the “mind of Christ” and the Holy Spirit to empower us not only to wield the sword effectively but also we put on the Belt of Truth and can then be assured that in wielding the Sword of the Spirit God will also be the One who will lead us and guide us into all Truth even as we use it. Praise and Worship work for me so that it becomes a light and therefore darkness has to flee, but I do not use it as a weapon but rather as a comforting agent in the realization of Who is holding my hand when I’m afraid.

Thank you for your Word
It was such a nice conformation of what I feel the Lord saying to me.

I was getting weary from so much time in the war room.

The Lord reminded me He is still greater than all the issues I bring before Him and R & R is necessary for renewal.

Such an encouraging word. Thank you. Sometimes it seems we are getting nowhere, but pray on and give God glory and praise. We are not forgotten or abandoned.

Amen Wanda! I thank our Lord for another day to live in His presence and to know Him better. His great unending everlasting love reaches out to us daily. I cannot fully comprehend the selfless sacrifice of the sinless Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, for me. King of kings, Creator of the Universe, the Great I Am came to earth to live a sinless life, showing us His way, endured the shame of the cross, conquered death and hell, ascended into heaven and ever lives to intercede for us.
Through Him we are more than conquerors.
Lord, thank you for speaking through Wanda that the battle is finished and You are the Victor!
