HATE GROUPS NEED JESUS–HOW CAN WE PRAY?

With the news about recent shootings being carried out by young men who are associated with hate groups in the U.S., we have asked the Lord what drives someone to be a part of such extreme organizations. Studies have been done to see why people want to associate with groups that are radical–White supremecists, Antifa, and others. The groups are being re-branded to our youth through social media as an acceptable escape from childhood trauma, lack of a positive father influence, and bullying.
Young people with a troubled past are especially vulnerable, said psychologist Ervin Staub, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, a professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst who studies social processes that lead to violence.
It usually involves them finding no other socially acceptable and meaningful ways to fulfill important needs — the need for identity; the need for a feeling of effectiveness; the need for a feeling of connection,” Staub said. “Often, these are people who don’t feel like they’ve succeeded or had a chance to succeed across normal channels of success in society. They may come from families that are problematic or families where they’re exposed to this kind of extreme views of white superiority and nationalism. If you don’t feel you have much influence and power in the world, you get a sense of power from being part of a community and especially a rather militant community.”… (Excerpt from US News and World Report.)
Would you pray today that God would give these vulnerable young people an understanding of their identity through Christ? Pray that they will feel wanted and connected and that God will bring people into their lives to speak truth and love them so they can forgive those who hurt them. Pray for open doors of hatred to be shut in their lives and for them to feel God’s love. Pray that older people who have lived in a mindset of hate and associate with these groups will have a softening of their heart and see others through God’s eyes. Pray John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Yes we dedicated an evening to prayer for young men for all the reasons expressed above. We also prayed specifically for a young men known to the Intercessors group, sons, brothers, friends. On God’s heart!
Heavenly Father I know your heart aches for all these troubled youth, and their troubled parents, many with deep unimaginable mental and emotional sorrows and scars that are so wounded they want to lash out in violent ways. Send strong believers across their paths, send angels to guide them to places where they can get the right kind of acceptance that will guide them to the road to complete healing in Jesus, to complete identity in Jesus. Guide spirit led believers to cross their paths, befriend them if possible, and listen to them, and gently guide them to Jesus, Give their peers compassion to effectively pray them through to the peace of God, instead of just shunning them or fearing them. Abba, Father, get our church members out of their buildings and reach out into their communities and streets. Let street evangelism explode once again to reach the troubled, the mentally unstable and the masses, the tormented, who need Jesus. Set our hearts on fire for Your Kingdom on earth as in heaven. Give us a hunger, resources, ideas and means to reach out to those who need Jesus so desperately.
I pray just what Jesus said to His apostles in Matthew 5:44-45 “But I say,love your enemies. bless those who curse you,do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” In Jesus’ name, Amen
Father thank You for adopting me into Your family that I might be able to call out Abba.
Father we have multiple generations that do what is right in their own eyes and make truth relative.
I pray You would cause the video game programmers and producers to be held responsible for the wicked, violent content that they market to our youth.
I pray a softening on the heart of the youth of our nation; a conviction on the hearts their parents. No more excuses, no more blame shifting. Step up to the task and parent your lost children. I pray You would direct these youth to Yourself Lord. That they would turn to you and repent and be given new life. Bring Christians into the lives of these young ones and give them boldness to speak Your truth.

I worked as an inner-city missionary years ago. Children without fathers is epidemic. We must reach out to kids in our neighborhoods and be mentors. The problems and violence of the inner-cities are moving into the suburbs because we have neglected their needs!
Only one way you can pray, You repent of your own sins and of YOUR CHURCH, so they have no spiritual support behind them, the Church is giving them credibility; first empty the church of division called denomination, one against another, this is caused by operating from the mind instead of the Spirit or being led by the Spirit. Control mechanisms & non accountability like a Master Pastor/Priest instead of everyone have a hymn, a word, a song, a teaching, a prophecy. Today’s church looks nothing like the one 2,000 years ago in homes. division because knowledge, money, influence, etc… fix the church and yourself & the hate groups may all disappear.
Dear Lord God Almighty thank You for everything. Thank You for prayer. Lord I pray for those who need You most. Those who need You most don’t know You. Lord bring committed followers of Your Holy Son into the lives of these lonely and desperate people. May those who don’t know You get to know You through the lives of those who do know You. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lord, when You created each of us it was for a purpose of glorifying You with our lives. You created a hole in us that only You can fill yet so many run seeking evil to fill that void, being workers of iniquity. You know whom You will draw near and I pray for a supernatural softening of hearts over this generation. I pray for those that know You as their Redeemer/Savior from sin and death will go, go into territories You have prepared and speak Your wisdom and truth to them. Everyone seems to have their version of truth these days and facts dont matter, but we know where truth and wisdom arise, from Your Word. May we be willing to turn off the media of today, get out of our comfy chairs, quit stuffing our gluttonous faces, repent of our sins of apathy and strap on our full armor You have provided. Let us declare Your Word over this generation that the void in their life can only be filled by surrendering their lives to Jesus. May they know peace, may we vote for representatives in all civil positions that will humble themselves to do Your will for our good, Your Glory and all may live according to our founding papers, peaceable lives given to our inalienable rights which come solely from You.

I love that we pray for everyone, but who says these 2 were associated with hate groups? I’m not buying what they are selling and neither should Intercessors for America. Please ask for discernment on this.
