The Trump administration has proposed dramatically scaling down the number of staff from a Department of Labor public lands agency who work in Washington, D.C., leaving less than 1 percent of staff working in the nation’s capital.
An agencywide reorganization will leave just 61 employees from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in the nation’s capital after the proposed transfer of 323 D.C.-based employees, which administration officials say would be completed in the next 15 months.
The move, officials argue, will save taxpayers between $50 million and $100 million over the next 20 years by relocating employees closer to the issues they work on and in areas far more affordable than D.C…. (Excerpt from The Hill article by Miranda Green and Rebecca Beitsch)

Dear Lord God Almighty thank You for everything. Thank You for this beautiful country with plenty of resources. May we use our God given resources carefully and not wastefully. May we cut all waste more and more daily until we eventually reach a balanced budget. Lord please help us. I pray in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Sounds good, but the BLM and other affiliated government
agencies and “non-affilicated” organizations are slaughtering America’s Wild Horses and Burros in order to take over the lands. I pray this destruction and all those involved be stopped immediately, in Jesus’s Holy Name. Amen.
Thank You, Jesus, for restoring practical wisdom to our government. May it be accomplished successfully, and may You continue to establish Your rule and reign over our nation. We want You to receive the glory and be honored everywhere. Amen.

This proposal will allow employees to be on site to make the decisions that influence our nations public lands. I’m impressed and grateful to our Presidents practical implementation of common sense cost cutting measures.
