Watch out for new change in Facebook. You will have to opt out of your face being tagged in the photos that other people post. Reuters reports:

“Facebook Inc is opening up its face recognition technology to all users with an option to opt out, the social media company said on Tuesday, as it discontinued a related feature called ‘Tag Suggestions.’

The old feature enabled users to choose whether Facebook could suggest that their friends tag them in photos, without giving them control over other uses of the technology.

The face recognition setting, available to some Facebook users since December 2017, has additional functions such as notifying account holders if their profile photo is used by someone else.” (Excerpt from Reuters)

It’s time for Christians to take a stand & pull out of Facebook and other sites that want our personal info. Remember that we will be facing many hardships on Christians if the country becomes socialist; they will be targeting Christians or any other group they disagree with.

I totally agree. When I was made aware of the pervasive sex industry, it made me very protective of my beautiful grandchildren.

I have always been very careful about personal information and pictures posted on Facebook. I will not post pictures of my grandkids and my profile picture has never been a picture of me. I worked for a school district, we published an annual report that we sent out to the public with classroom pictures. We were very careful about the kids pictures with names being published. I believe there is a real danger out there with our willingness to share our lives on the internet. I’ve seen people devastated because a picture they posted was shared to people she never knew, my mistake once was posting a picture of my new born grandson with me holding him. A person from a foreign country commented on it! How did that person get that picture???
