Americans who say they attend religious services regularly were far more apt to vote Republican in the midterm elections than those who attend seldom or never, exit polls revealed.
According to CNN, 68 percent of voters who said they never attend religious services voted Democrat in their respective state and local elections, while only 30 percent of this group voted for the GOP.
Conversely, among those who replied that they attend religious service monthly or more, 55 percent voted Republican and 44 percent Democrat. As church attendance grows more frequent, the probability of voting Republican also rises.
Among those who attend religious services weekly or more, 58 percent voted Republican while only 40 percent voted for Democrat candidates.
A separate AP VoteCast poll conducted by National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago for Fox News and the Associated Press found an even a starker divide.
According to this survey, a full 61 percent of those who say they attend service once a week or more supported the Republicans, while among those who go to church at least once a month, 57 percent went for Republicans….
The most recent voter data confirms polls following previous elections showing that the more religious a voter, the more likely they will support a Republican candidate, while the less religious will overwhelmingly tend to vote Democrat. (Excerpts from Thomas D. Williams article in Breitbart News)

IFA did not take the poll, and CNN and University of Chicago are not exactly Republican or Christian, so they did not try to skew the polling results that way. I have to say I am perplexed as to why Christians are deemed racist if they are White Republicans. The very founding of the Rep. Party was anti-slavery and it was Lincoln who issued the Emancipation Proclamation. The first Blacks in Congress were Rep. after Civil War. It was Rep. who passed the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, and it was also predominantly they (against Dem. in Congress) who passed civil rights legislation (Voting Rights Act) in 1960’s. as there were not enough Dem. votes in Congress to pass these. The KKK was Dem., and Dems. passed the Jim Crow laws in the South. Yes, African-Americans are indeed strong Christians, and there are some people who go to church but don’t act Christian, but please don’t lump everybody together with them. My own experience has been mainly in churches that are mixed races, both in the pew and pulpit. We want not only morality that is Biblical but also matters of justice. I think we can agree on that and that is what I look for when I vote.
Father in heaven, how glorious You are. My dear brother James, the article was not talking about race or the color of a person’s skin. It merely stated that those who attend a bible based church that teaches clearly and with authority from the bible were more likely to vote Republican. The reason for this is not racial – far from, the Republican party’s values and morals are more in tune and in line with the Word of God. Brother James, do you value life? God puts a high standard on life, even life in the womb. He says our bodies are not our own to do with as we please, we were bought with a price. We are His temple. We are to serve Him and Him only.
Brother James, do you believe what the bible says about the sanctity of marriage? He knows that anything outside of His Word will not work and will destroy us from the inside out.
As a Bible believing Christ follower(and I hesitate to use religious) I can not vote for a political party that stands for everything against God Almighty and his Word.
I pray brother James that we would all examine our walk with Christ and that we would allow the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin of idolatry and that we would turn to Him in true repentance. That

And what race of people participated in this poll I’m sure it wasn’t African American or Hispanic so please be true to want you report instead of reporting things that’s in your favor and maybe you will be a real Christian and obey Gods commandment because African Americans are the most religious race on this earth and it’s Known THROUGHOUT THE HISTORY YOUR SLAVERY so please if you portray to be churchgoers be doers of his word and not just hearers I love the Lord with all my heart and it saddens me when so-called Christians who say they love God whom they can’t see and but have so much hatred and racism for people whom they see who haven’t did anything to anyone but are treated so badly just because of their race and yes some might be your neighbor but yet that counts for nothing all because of the color of their skin but”YOU” call yourself churchgoers so please read scripture in Matthew 7 verse 21 and I will pray for everybody that God change peoples heart and that they turn from their wicked ways and if this is One Nation Under God I would hate to see One Nation Under The Devil because some of the things that’s happening under this administration is no of God with you admit it or not and like I said earlier unless it’s in your favor so may the peace of God be always in your heart and remember that our GOD IS a JEW as it states in the bible!!!
