a wonderful Blessing full of Truth.
We are to wait “expectantly” and “hopefully” with faith in Him and His faithfulness.
The definition of Faith in the Amplified Bible says it for me: Faith is the assurance, confirmation and
Title Deed to that for which we hope. (ACT) God is never superficial and wants us not to be that way either; because if we are that way, we will miss out on the depth of His Truth and the relationship we could have
with Him.
What a timely word. I have really been fighting discouragement and God used this old teaching to speak to me. Derek Prince just uttered three words that I constantly remind myself, “God is faithful!” Those three words are what keep me going. Faithful isn’t what He does it’s who He is. He is so faithful and kind, and patient. Lord let us keep my eyes fixed on you. You’ve never failed us before, and you won’t start now.

Oh, that lying devil thinks he can make you discouraged, does he!
That in and of itself is a lie.
But, you are right! We have to FIGHT with our knowledge of God’s faithfulness
and with the authority of His Word.
Never give any credit to the lies of the devil.

I thank you, Lord, for this period of waiting. In it I have found my relationship with You has grown deeper. I thank you for the encouragements You have given me along the way when I am close to despair. And I look ahead with rejoicing at the unseen blessings which You are preparing for me! My prayer is that others who have suffered losses will also be blessed with the hope that is found in waiting on You! Amen

I love Derek Prince. He was a faithful servant of God. I wish he were still living. I’ve heard this message from him before, but it is so good to be reminded. I am in a waiting period right now and this “lifted my eyes”. Thank you for posting it.
Lord, thank you for this message. I am learning so much as I am walking through this test with you. I would rather have your Presence with me, it does not matter what I walk through, than not have your Presence. Thank you for your Presence, encouragement and comfort as I walk through this season of my life. The message by Derek Prince is such an encouragement, letting me know not to give up because You are faithful. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
The Lord led me to study the teachings of Derek Prince soon after being born again. His book “Blessing or Curse, You Can Choose” is truly a must read for every Christian. He explains what hinders believers from receiving healings and of all that God wants to bless us with. His ministries site has videos covering a wide range of Christian topics.
I recently was asked to give a small sharing on prayer to a group of seniors. This was a challenge to my heart and so I asked the father what I could share to a group who know about prayer and are faithful to the call. He gave me two words “wait and pray”. I have found that often in waiting we grow in relationship with our God. I would never have traded the times of waiting and growing in relationship with a God who is faithful to His promise. Truly those who wait on the Lord shall be renewed and He will be honored.
Father I thank you for this message. May I be faithful to wait for you to move and not lose heart.
