ARE WE GOING TO WAR WITH IRAN?

Lord, give great wisdom and strategy to our President, our military and our foreign policy makers in dealing with Iran.
675 People Prayed

Tensions between Tehran and Washington have risen since the first anniversary of Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal May 28. President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran would start stockpiling enriched uranium and heavy water beyond the limits agreed to in the deal and would make more serious violations if the rest of the deal’s signatories did not give Iran better terms within 60 days.

The United States increased its military presence in the Persian Gulf region soon after, accelerating deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln and dispatching B-52 bombers and Patriot defense missiles, citing “troubling and escalatory indications and warnings” from Tehran. Intelligence indicates Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which the U.S. government recently designated a foreign terrorist organization, loaded missiles onto boats in the Persian Gulf and Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gave the go-ahead to proxy forces to attack U.S. forces and diplomatic facilities, according to officials. The U.S. withdrew all nonessential personnel from Iraq last week.

Members of Congress in both parties have expressed skepticism of the threats officials have cited, and the administration plans to brief all lawmakers Tuesday. . . .

Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan recently briefed officials on a Pentagon plan to send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East if Iran attacked U.S. forces, according to a New York Times report. Trump dismissed the story as “fake news.”

“Now would I do that? Absolutely. But we have not planned for that. Hopefully, we’re not going to have to plan for that. And if we did that, we’d send a hell of a lot more troops than that,” Trump told reporters.

“Mr. President, are we going to war with Iran?” a reporter shouted at Trump Thursday at a brief photo-op.

“I hope not,” the president replied.

  1. Father God, may your mercy be upon us and this situation. Please give our leaders divine wisdom in every action and response. Let the enemies of God be confounded and confused. In Jesus’ name, amen

  2. Heavenly Father, I thank you for providing us with a President who cares about you and the destination of our country. I thank you for providing us with the means to quickly end this potential war, either by force or by diplomacy. I pray for the underground church in Iran to have a voice and not be smothered by the Iranian government. Please protect our Christian brothers and sisters in Iran, our troops and our leaders. Give our leaders the wisdom to make solid decisions without compromising our values as past presidents have already done. And I ask that our allies stand firmly with us and sends a message to the world that dictatorship is not the future of mankind.

Please hear my prayer, Father. Amen

  3. The whole story isn’t being spoken of here…war with IRAN has been on the table for decades and the can has been kicked down the road to future presidents to deal with. The difference today, we have a president who will not take the crap anymore and actually get the job done. If you truly believe in God, he will provide and protect those He loves in uniform. Keep in mind many are called few answer the call. I served in the Persian Gulf region in the U.S. Army and many back then were in the same boat and we made it thru. God will not fail us. For those who are serving today, as long as they have their spiritual priorities in order, everything is great. I remember many soldiers who didn’t believe, found the Lord quickly and in time. I pray for those who don’t, or won’t get it in order…this is not game folks! Amen.

    1. Thank you God, for these like John Books that do not cower and fold every time the devil snarls at beautiful America and her G O D , who is the ONLY KING of VICTORY here!!!! Church, get real and we will duly humble and take the Arc in worshiping but BOLD as Heaven!!!!! jeri smith

  4. I pray God above all will hold back radicals and the underground church in Iran will grow . I pray president Trump will listen to God in all his decisions.
I pray a groundswell of young people who know Jesus will be in control.

  5. Heavenly Father, please be with President Trump and give him divine wisdom and guidance. father god, please give the President insight on how to defuse this crises. God, please help us not to have to go to war. I pray for Your protection over our troops and those in harm’s way. I pray in Jesus Name, amen.

  6. Our son is in the USMC. He is on the list to be deployed to the next place should our gov’t be sending Marines. I pray no war breaks out. But I also pray for our troops, and our son should they be sent. They are trained for this and honestly, they get very frustrated and feel useless if they can’t put into use all they are training for..for years.
