ANTIFA BRINGS VIOLENCE TO PORTLAND–WILL THEY BE NAMED AS TERRORISTS?

Oh Lord, we know that the absence of your Presence brings all kinds of evil. We pray that there would be law and order where there is violence and chaos.

At least 13 arrests have been made in the most recent confrontation with Antifa in Portland, Oregon, the Portland police confirmed on Aug. 17.

Right-wing groups from across the country had converged on Portland to protest Antifa and bring attention to its terrorist-like activities.

Antifa is a far-left group whose members have made Portland a stronghold and often engage in protests that eventually turn violent. President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter today that major “consideration is being given to naming Antifa an ‘organization of terror.’”

President Trump tweeted, “Major consideration is being given to naming ANTIFA an “ORGANIZATION OF TERROR.” Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!”

The Portland Police said they are trying to keep two large groups away from each other—presumably Antifa and the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys describe themselves as “Western chauvinists who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world,” according to their website.

[Journalist Andy Ngo, who was the victim of “milkshaking” with cement earlier this summer, reports the following different incidents by eye witness:
A large Antifa mob chase & attack a man & a young girl who got separated from the others. No police.
Antifa attacks people on a bus. They try to pull them out and hit them with a hammer.
When the buses left, Antifa chased it down and broke windows. One Antifa guy fell down.
Ngo: “I recognize this shirtless man from Seattle last year at another Antifa protest. He came up to me and said, “Death is coming.”
One man arrested by Portland police appeared to have a gun.
Concrete blocks were brought in by Antifa to throw and were seen thrown at busses.]

[Portland Mayor] Wheeler has consistently condemned conservative groups but avoided mentioning Antifa by name. He struggled to say why police haven’t’ made any arrests from the assaults Antifa committed last month when a host asked “What message does that send?”

The city has also failed to take action on an anti-mask law proposed by Portland Police Chief Danielle Outlaw after the assault of Ngo and the other men. Antifa members like to obscure their faces to try to avoid arrest and prosecution.

  1. Lord, I pray against the spirit of evil that is driving this group to violently attack innocent people. I pray for an outpouring of prayer upon this group so that they turn from their wicked ways. In the name of Jesus, Amen, Amen

  2. Father we bow before your throne and ask forgiveness for allowing those things not of you to come into your nation the USA. We have not opened our eyes to the truth spoken in your Word. Forgive us Father. May we stand for freedom, and may we all follow the Holy Spirits leading to fight the good fight. We do not battle flesh and blood but powers and principalities in high places come on church let’s do what Jesus said destroy the works of the enemy.

  3. O Lord, may we humble ourselves and pray. We seek your face. We cry out for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Jesus, may we, your people not respond in anger, hate and violence. May we respond with love and truth. May the elected officials do their job and protect all citizens and bring justice against all violence. Lord, you know the attacks on police throughout the country. I pray for these men and women who risk their lives to protect us and to uphold the rule of law. Please, may the fear of the Lord fall on our nation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
