Give thanks to the Lord for this wonderful report. May His name be lifted high!
“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil 2:9-11 ESV)
After all the controversy of the NFL season, it ended with all glory, honor, and praise going to God! This is answered prayer. On September 26, 2017, in the midst of the controversy about taking a knee during the National Anthem, we asked you to pray, in this publication, for a good report to be brought forth among our countrymen.
Months later, at the end of the NFL season and the one game that everybody watches, all three of the representatives of the Philadelphia Eagles who were interviewed after receiving the trophy gave glory to God! It was the most amazing thing to watch the coach, then the wide receiver, then the quarterback (a Liberty University online seminary student), publicly, clearly, and unabashedly declare their faith.
“Unless you’re from Philadelphia, there’s a pretty good chance you never cared for the Philadelphia Eagles. Their players were mean and violent and epitomized by former coach Buddy Ryan who once said, “I think with me what you see is what you get. But some people don’t like what they see.”
Philly fans also have a reputation for being a little raucous. Did you know they once booed Santa Claus and threw snowballs at him?
This year’s Eagles are an entirely different breed. Many attend regular Bible studies, they constantly talk about their faith and they say they just want to glorify God in all they do.
And one other detail separates the 2017 Eagles from their predecessors, the nice guys have a Super Bowl ring.
After Super Bowl LII, arguably the most entertaining of all time, the Eagles kept up their praise of God. I must agree with the “changing of the guard” comment.
When our President stuck his neck out to honor Jerusalem after 20 years of previous presidents did not take that risk, God was honored. President Trump “kissed the Son”. (Psalms 2) Now more people will be speaking out for God since the President set the precedent. Thank God for a good news report on the NFL game.
To know the name of God was glorified from the President’s speech on to
the playing field in Minnesota made a statement to all those watching. (Both events hopefully)

At the risk of giving the idea that if you give glory to God, He will let you win the game, there’s no question that what these men did glorified God.
We all rejoice in the God of our salvation and I know He, God , will use His people to declare His glory and His good works. He is the giver of talents. All good comes from God and we celebrate the victory!

I learned about the Philadelphia Eagles when the story of Vince Paple came out and the movie was out in 2006 “Invincible”. It was based on and putting faith on a character of the player influencing a teams winning attitude. In this Super Bowl game of 2018, it was a victory showing character and attitude with few injuries and penalties.
This is all find and dandy but you guys are still missing to whole reason why some players were kneeling even in that they were still giving glory to GOD not just because they won the Super Bowl what a pity!!!
